(This is open to all the Potter and Weasley kids, but up to you if you wish to join. Only going to tag the kids once, and from there will only tag those who participate.) Arthur Weasley was in Hogsmeade for two reasons. The first reason was to pick up a hard to find book on a rare breed of dragon he had come across during his years at the Ministry. Since his retirement, Arthur had spent his alone time reading. Molly liked to so her shopping and things of that sort, so Arthur needed something to occupy his time when he was unable to go out and about. The second, and most important reason, was that with Hogsmeade being near Hogwarts, he had an opportunity to visit his beloved grandchildren. His grandchildren made him feel young again, and he enjoyed every moment with them. He had a big vacation played for all his family when summer came around, but that didn't make him miss his loved ones any less. With his book acquired and purchased, he walked out of Tomes and Scrolls. It was the time of day when many of the students were out and about Hogsmeade, so he hoped he would spot a few of his grandchildren walking about. He did see Hagrid, and the two discussed his book a bit. He then wondered what the book's author might say if he met Hagrid. The half-giant seemed to know everything and then some about every dragon. Soon Hagrid had to part though, and Arthur decided to head toward the Three Broomsticks and see who was in there all while having a meal. The day had started out well with Rose waking up early for her morning run, and then heading to Hogsmeade for the day. She wanted to get out of the dark, but lovely castle for a bit. Maybe she would even pick up a gift for her boyfriend while she was there. Just something small of course, seeing as there weren't any special occasions coming up. But still, she wanted to give him something she thought would show how much she cared. However, she'd have to do it on her own time, seeing as she wasn't the only one going. The young Gryffindor had plans to meet up with a few of her friends to go shopping and to grab something to eat.
It seemed her plans would change a bit though, because as she exited a store with her friends, she happened to catch sight of her Grandfather down the way from them. Smiling brightly, Rose turned to her friends and let them know that she would be leaving the group earlier than planned along with explaining that her Grandfather was there. She didn't get to see her family as much as she did her friends, so she was more than happy to ditch them for the day. After they said their goodbyes and see you laters, Rose turned from the group.
"Granddad!" Almost immediately she jogged down the path to her Grandfather before excitedly wrapping her arms around him in a big embrace. Rose loved her Grandfather more than anything, just like she did her whole family. For as big of a family as they were, they were all pretty tight knit. She believed that she got along well with most of them, if not all and her Grandfather was no exception. Stepping back from the hug, she put her hands on her hips and smiled at him. "What's an old man like you doing out here?" She teased. Despite her serious nature, it was hard to be that way around certain family members. Especially the one that spawned her father, and her crazy Uncle George.

At Molly's approach, Arthur beamed with the usual glow on his face when he saw his grandchildren. He hugged her tightly and kissed her on the cheek. The Weasleys were always an affectionate lot. "My Rose!" he said. "So good to see you again." He was amazed as how much his children and grandchildren had grown. Rose was already a Seventh Year! She was going to be an adult soon! Amazing how the time passed as it did. He remembered walking alongside her and holding her hand in Diagon Alley as the girl prepared for her first year at Hogwarts. "Why am I here? Well..." Arthur had to stop and think a moment. "Why was I here? Oh yes, had to pick up a rare book on a rare breed of dragons that I've been meaning to read about, though I think Hagrid over there just told me most of what I need to know. However, I also came here to see you and my other grandchildren. You know, I thought it was difficult not seeing my children when they were at Hogwarts. But now I'm all retired and sitting around the house knowing my dear grandchildren are away and can't come over to visit, and that's nearly impossible to handle." He smiled warmly at Rose. "What say we go into the Three Broomsticks. My treat." Arthur certainly hoped to see the rest of the grandchildren, but spending time with Rose would be more than worth the trip. He was so fond and proud of her. He wanted to know all about her time at Hogwarts since Christmas. ROSE MINERVA WEASLEY

Rose was very happy to see her grandfather. They were a large family that liked to write and have many get together's, but she felt as though she didn't see her granddad enough. Even at the reunions, they hardly got to see everyone, there were so many of them! Seriously, they were like rabbits, making babies every chance they got. She wondered if her and Scorpius got married and had children, if they would have quite a few as well. But she needn't think of that. Pulling herself quickly from that somewhat unusual thought, she focused on her grandfather again.
"And it's so good to see you too!" Rose could remember all the good times she had with him when she was a little girl. He was always there for her when she needed it, just like her parents were. Rose truly loved her family and she couldn't wait to have one of her own. She only hoped she'd make a good wife and mom. If she could do that, she'd be the happiest girl in the world. Her whole family seemed so optimistic and happy all the time. It was weird, but lovely at the same time. They were a great family, no matter what anyone said about them.
"Aw, well we all miss you too Grandpa. I wish I could come around more often. Trust me, it's hard on my part as well to be away so much." She told him, looking at her feet for a moment before smiling up at him once again. Rose did miss her family, even when she had all her friends around her, including Scorpius. They were such a tight knit clan, she couldn't help but miss each and every one of them. Even the ones that went to Hogwarts! They were there, but that didn't mean they saw each other all the time. "Well if you're buying, then I'm definitely in!" She teased in response to him asking her to the Three Broomsticks. Who didn't like it there? @arthur

Arthur smiled when Rose said she missed him and that she wished she could come around more often. "Well, look on the bright side," he said. "Soon you'll graduate and will get to be at home more often, or at least in London I hope. By the way, have you figured out what you wish to do after your graduate? I could put in a good word for you at the Ministry." Ron and Hermione were probably already on that though, and perhaps Harry too, but Arthur liked to feel important anyway. And he was still respected at the Ministry long after his retirement. Arthur offered his arm when Rose accepted a meal at the Three Broomsticks. He then stepped toward it. "I've always been fond of The Three Broomsticks," he said. "Lots of fond memories here. I remember once when some schoolmates and I tried to make Butterbeer flammable here. Almost blew half the entire place up. Got two months detention for that. Ha, good times!" He then looked at Rose with a face that was half concerned and half just... well the usual goofy Arthur Weasley face. "You haven't blown up anything around here, have you?" He then realized he was talking to Rose. "Of course you haven't. You wouldn't do something like that." He then smiled at her again. Once inside, he made his drink order, a Daisyroot Draught, and after Rose was to make hers, he looked at her. "Now then," he said. "Tell me, Rose, what have you been up to here?" ROSE MINERVA WEASLEY

Rose listened to her grandfather speak about her graduating and her gut tied into a knot. She wasn't sure she was completely ready to leave the safety of Hogwarts. The real world was going to be much more complicated, and her life was complicated enough. Smiling despite the odd feeling, she nodded. "Yeah, I want to work at the Ministry in the Beast Division." She told him, wondering if she should even bring up her living arrangement plans. Her grandfather knew about her and Scorpius, but she wasn't sure how he'd react to them living together after graduating. Maybe she should wait until they were sitting down. That way he wouldn't keel over and die on her.
Taking his arm, she walked with him to the Three Broomsticks. It was one of the more popular joints for students like herself. Her and her friends loved to go there and just hang out. She listened to him talk about going there with his friends and how they nearly blew the place up. Laughing, she shook her head at him. Her family was so silly, but she loved them dearly. Raising an eyebrow at his question, she shook her head. "No Granddad. You know I wouldn't do that." Which he confirmed right after she said that. Rose was a good student and wasn't very keen on trickery. She wouldn't allow such a thing to happen.
Once inside, she listened to his order and then told the waiter she wanted a butterbeer. When her grandfather looked at her, she replied by looking his way as well. "Well, I was here with some friends, just hanging out and shopping around. I was going to get..." She paused for a moment, wondering if she should bring his name up. Taking a deep breath, she smiled as if everything was normal when she talked about him. "I was planning on getting Scorpius something small while I was out here." She told him, her cheeks blushing a bit. "Speaking of him... When you asked about my plans after graduating..." She paused again, her nerves setting in. "Well, we're planning on living together." Her eyes were downcast toward her hands that were rested on the table now. She was afraid to see his reaction, let alone hear it.

Arthur smiled that Rose decided to take on a Ministry position. The Potters and Weasleys had a strong connection to the Ministry for many a decade, and he was pleased Rose was carrying on that tradition. "That's wonderful, my dear!" he said. "The Beast Division will gain a fine addition to its ranks. I am very proud of you." Arthur then laughed when Rose said she would never blow anything up at school. "Well of course you wouldn't blow anything up, not you," he said. "Who would suggest such a thi... oh, that's right. Sorry." He gave her an embarrassed smile. Old age creeping up again. When Rose spoke of her relationship with Scorpius Malfoy, it didn't bother Arthur in the slightest. True he had his little rivalry with Lucius Malfoy way back when, but that didn't mean all Malfoys were as loathsome as that bitter old ex-dark wizard. Draco had changed for the better over time and if Scorpius truly loved Rose, then wonderful! Still, it didn't matter who it was. Arthur almost lost his breath when Rose said they might be living together. This was simply a grandfather showing concerned for his granddaughter. "Living... together?" he said. "Before you get married? Oh dear, you know what your grandmother is going to say, and I'm not so sure I can back you up on your decision. Scorpius seems like a wonderful boy, but... well are you sure you want to do this?" ROSE MINERVA WEASLEY
