The Demon's Escape (Marius and Cora)

In the words of Rubeus Hagrid "Not all wizards are good". There comes a time where a psychopath casts a reign of terror over the world. That...is what Marius Abiah Hawthorne did to the wizarding world. At the age of twenty one Marius killed about a dozen people a single curse. Some he just kept and took his time enjoying them...and yes what he did was he used the cruciatus curse on them torturing them into Insanity.

Marius sat in the corner of his cell in Azkaban with an evil smirk on his face. His hair was greasy and messy due to the damped and horrible conditions in Azkaban. His face was covered in dirt, his clothes dirty and damped. He was in Azkaban for three years now so by now became used to the Dementors and the horrid conditions of the prison. Shivering slightly he smirked letting out an evil chuckle.

By then he was even more insane then usual since he has been couped up in Azkaban for three years. Finally he stood slightly hunched over. Sitting on his bed he picked up a damped old newspaper...the newspaper that talks about him and the tragic murders he had committed. He grinned slightly his light blue eyes bringing out the evil he has. The sound of thunder echoed through the halls of Azkaban, the sound of moaning of the other inmates was heard...Marius loved the sound of it.

As he sat in the corner of his cell a dementor appeared the room immediately went cold but this didn't bother Marius. The dementor then faced Marius and began to suck the happiness out of him. Marius just grinned and let out a small chuckle as this had no effect on him. Finally the dementor floated away from Marius to go and suck the happiness out of other inmates. Marius smirked and began to rock back and forth his eyes widening in insanity....he knew he wasn't going to be here for much longer for he knew sooner or later he would plot an escape.

Cora had borrowed some poly juice from Death an and took out the guards before they could call for help. She had kidnapped and killed a guard just before it was time for them to show up for duty. The rest was easy, she could seen how simple it was for Death an to come and get her. She pocketed Marcus's wand and stuffed her hands into the pocket of her jeans. whistling as she walked passed the cells of uninteresting felons. She smirked as she came across Marcus's cell, he looked positively mental. Are you gunna be of any use because if not I'll leave you here and take Sharkey of there she said point her thumb at the old guy shaking and muttering to himself.

She wan't the second most dangerous witch of her generation for nothing. She remembered Marcus from her childhood days,nalways in then library reading up on the dark arts poor soul. It as too bad her parents overlooked his family, they would've made a killer couple. She inwardly laughed at the pun.Well are you sane enough to be of use...yes or no? she said as she got tired of standing there waiting for an answer, she had no wish to be caught again, trying to save someone of no use.

Marius slowly turned his blue evil filled eyes to Cora slowly a smirk slowly spreaded on his face. He chuckles a small chuckle and got to his feet slowly walking to the door of his cell. "The question is...will we have use for each other?" He smirked once more and winked slowly at Cora. "Now...kindly get me out of this wretched cell" ,he says in his smooth flirtatious evil voice.

Marius recognized this woman when he was at hogwarts as a child. He thought they were just like each other in some ways...oh what a couple they would of been if they knew each other well. He looked into her eyes and felt a match of evil in them both...immediately he knew that Cora and him would really really love each other well. Finally he stepped back a bit and crossed his arms slowly and waited for her to let him out. "Shall we get out of here?"

Cora rolled her eyes at Marius, she didn't even know why she wasted her time with this, she was putting herself in danger but he could be potentially useful to her lady's cause. Plus she found him interesting, with a bit of training and of course some mind healing potions he would be sane enough to be a great serial killer. Opening the sell she threw some clothes at him and his wand. "Make sure you use some freshing charms' She said with a smirk and another roll of her eyes.

She also threw a bottle of polyjuice potion at him and handed him a hair, she had incendioed two guards who were supposed to be leaving for duty in twenty minutes, that left a five minute lapse between the time the new guards would show up from the opposite direction they left. Dathan wasn't the only one that could plan an escape from this dreadful place, though it was a cozy place once you got past the coldness.

Marius grinned twistedly and put on the clothes freshening himself up with the wand. Now he looked just like as he did before he got shut away in Azkaban. His eyes immediately met hers as he unlocked the door to his cell and downing the polyjuice potion. His form immediately turned into the guard and he gave a smirk at Cora. "Shall we go?"

With one last smirk the disguised Marius walked with Cora down the halls of Azkaban. While he does he glances at her sensing she has not changed at all. As a child Marius did have a small crush on Cora but he was not the kind of child who would release his feelings to others. He wonders as he walks with her...what if she shared the same feelings as he did? He carried on walking with Cora making the great escape from Azkaban.

Cora started walking as soon as he was done, they were making excellent time as they reached the boat. While they were walking she let her mind wander to thoughts about the young man she had just set free, she always said she wouldn't let her emotions control her decisions, so why had she broken him out. Probably because she thought he could be useful, she didn't dare let her mind wander to her emotions they were threatening to ruin everything. Her image that she built up, her not caring...she wasn't allowed to care for anybody not even herself. Once they were in the boat she waved her wand and started off in the right direction, she had already silenced the motor and casted a spell on it to make it go faster. This is going to be a long ride shesaid as she took out some food and passed him some, after she ddisillusioned the boat, they didn't need to get caught.

Marius immediately gobbled up the food since he had not had good food in 3 years. Marius wasn't really the one to thank people but he showed thankfulness in his own way. He smirked turning his attention to Cora "so tell me...what have you been doing with your life?" One thing was going through his mind...why did she rescue him? Only time will tell once he found out why.

Cora raised an eyebrow, and shrugged I've only been out of azkaban for a couple months mostly helping out some new associates of mine she said opening a bottle of butter beer, she knew Marius enough to get a feel of his emotions and he wasn't avoiding eye contact. He was curious about why she helped him, she wasn't exactly well known form her lidness, inner defense she was taught from an early age to be heartless. She was allowing him to stay in her house simply because she felt something for the fuu, she wasn't sure. Maybe if her life hadn't been planned out they could've been a thing, they were a lot alike but sadly his family wasn't one hers associated very often. Perhaps they could be friends now, instead of people drawn together out of strange circumstances.

Marius got a twisted grin on his face "So you heard of me hmm?" Marius knew someone like her or someone else had to of heard of him. He is basically the Sirius Black that everyone thought that Sirius Black was. He never really stayed at someone else's house so this might become an obstacle for him. Finally he just kept quiet and waited to reach their destination.

"I guess you can say that" Cora said in a off handed manor, she didn't want him t get a big ego or anything. she wasn't the type to praise someone for their achievements. she honestly didn't care about anything that didn't benefit her, she wasn't exactly sure why she had helped him out. She would find out on the way because she wasn't sure how this could beneficial beyond sexual gratification.ed.

When they finally reached shore, she lead him to a closed off area with no one around, the portkey would take them to her manor. The only reason they had waited was due tot he fact she wasn't sure how far the anti-portkey, apparition wards lasted. She held out the portkey for him to hold on and once they did they were protkeyed seconds latter into the middle of her sitting room.

Marius looked around her room nodding in approval. He smirks sitting down staring at Cora. "So tell me...what did you see in me when we were students?" Marius was thankful he was out of that wretched place. But however he had yet to see what Cora was like.

He looked into her eyes and yet he really wanted to know her more. Marius out of all hated love. There is no explanation why he does. Perhaps he due to his past childhood he felt no love. Also perhaps when he was at Hogwarts he was never loved by anyone so to this day he despises it with a passion.
