Secretly Admired (Madalyn and Christopher)

Christopher sits at a table by himself looking around timidly. He wasn't very good at Interacting with others because he is very shy. Madam Rosmerta slowly walked to his table smiling to him kindly "Anything you would like dear?" Christopher jumped a bit startled "Oh ummm...n-no thank you ma'am" he says timidly. Madam Rosmerta nodded politely and walked off away from his table.

Looking around Christopher noticed a lot of couples. Christopher never really had been in relationships. The problem is that he doesn't really talk or mingle with anyone. Sometimes he feels the courage to walk up to a girl but his nerves deceive him every chance they get. He looked out the window and gave a smile thinking of the time when he meets a girl.

However his smile slowly faded and he looked down at his table. Christopher doesn't feel like he can't meet someone it is just that he is too shy. But...there is this girl he has seen at Hogwarts towards the end of the year from whom he admired. Her name was Madalyn Claire Weasley. It just sprung on him at the very last moment that he had a big crush on her...but yet again did not interact with her much.

Maddie had spent most of her summer with her family, and she was really feeling the need to get out on her own. She was wanting to grab something to drink and maybe see some friends before school started. She was having an eventful summer and was ready to take a break from everyone she had been with. Her mom dropped her off in Hogsmeade and then was gone.

Maddie looked around and decidedly made her way into the Three Broomsticks. She had been there a few times and was excited to be there on her own. She knew it was a casual hangout for a lot of the people she knew from school and it made her happy to see a couple familiar faces. Having failed her fourth year, she was scared that a lot of her friends wouldn't be so keen on still being her friend, but things seemed to be okay. Not very many understood what she was going through, but they all seemed to be okay with it.

She looked around and smiled. She saw an empty table and headed over to it. She took a seat and smiled sweetly at the waitress that approached her. She ordered a water and sat there thinking about what she would do with her day. It was going to be a good day.

Christopher saw Madalyn come inside. His cheeks went red as Ron Weasley's hair as he saw how pretty she was coming in.He looked away shyly but then looked at the corner of his eye at her sitting at a table. He finally got up walking slowly to her his hands shaking as he sat down. "H-hello...m-my n-name i-is...Christopher" he says trying to hide his blush.

Knowing that someone like her would immediately know he is blushing he stops trying to hide it. "We go to school together...I believe you have seen me around" he says. He slowly looks up at her but as he does his heart starts to beat and he feels an adrenaline rush. "I um...was... wondering if". Christopher pauses looking so nervous and his hands shaking.

Maddie received her water with a smile and thanked her politely. She was surprised when he sat down as she was taking a drink. She jumped slightly and cold water trickled down her front. She giggled and shivered, "Ahh! Cold!" she smiled and laughed. "Ah. That was cold! You scared me!" she said through laughing. She sat back down after shaking out her dress. She looked at the boy, and he looked familiar. Of course he did, up until this coming school year, they were same year and house. "Well.. hi." she said with a smile. "You were wondering?" she said, curiously.

Christopher felt a little bit better now that she greeted him politely. He smiled. "I was wondering if um...if you like me to buy you something from here" he says. He felt as if a whole bunch of weight came off of his shoulders as he managed to let it out. He looked at her smiling his cheeks going red again.

"I am not usually good at coming out about stuff like that" he says nervously. It is true that he isn't really good at expressing his feeling to girls. But again he really is interested in Madalyn. He smiled to her "I love your dress it is really pretty". He then looked away slowly getting nervous once again.

She smiled at him, "No, that's okay. I'm not hungry quite yet." School was starting soon. That meant she had to drop a few pounds and look as good as she could. She knew that she would be repeating her fourth year, and this year she was going to pass, no matter what. She would do it all. Popularity, friends, and the whole bit. She wouldn't be letting Lynie in at all.

Once the cubes of ice were all in a small dish on the table instead of her bra and dress, she was content. She took a small sip, making sure not to spill this time. His comment about not being good at that, she shrugged off. He was cute, and she didn't see why it was such a big deal. "Thanks.. But it's all wet now.." she frowned mockingly and pulled out her wand. She waved it around, muttered, and the moisture in her dress displaced itself. She crinkled her nose with a goofy smile. "There. That is better. So, what's up?"

He smiled feeling a little better. "I just wanted to tell you that...I have a crush on you" he says. Christopher looked away his cheeks lighting up again. He felt better on getting it all out but still felt unsure of how she would react to it. He started to fidget with his fingers a bit.

The thing with him is he doesn't know how she is going to react. The one thing he didn't want to do was make her feel awkward and then make himself feel bad. He then looked at her a bit and smiled softly. His eyes twinkled as he looked at her. He really could tell that she is a nice girl unlike some.
