It was the scheduled break for many at the Ministry, and Fleur made her way to one of the break lounges. Fleur wasn't necessarily tired. She had done some standard write-ups from the previous day's activities in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, but nothing really hectic had happened so far that day. Plus, Fleur very much enjoyed her job in the Accidental Magical Reversal Squad. She got to apply the knowledge she took in at the Beauxbaton Academy of Magic and use it to help others. Furthermore, her job allowed her to visit Hogwarts on occasion to aid with a student accident or two, and while there she got to visit her children.
Clad in a pretty blue business suit, she passed several other people on the way to the lounge. They said good afternoon to her and she to them, chatting a bit more with a few here and there in her friendly manner. Stepping in, she walked over and poured herself some tea, adding cream and sugar. Another reason for her insistence of taking a break despite not being fatigued was that she had a high regard for tea time. It was a tradition she took part in since she was old enough to remember, though she also had a love for French Coffee in the morning. Taking a few of the small sandwiches available as well, she walked over and seated herself, quietly sipping her tea though ready to converse with any who should come in and desire to.

Fleur smiled and nodded a greeting to Cain when he walked in. She had seen him in the past, but did not know his name until just now. She recognized him because he worked in the same department as Harry and Ron, who of course were family who Fleur had known for many, many years. There were of course several other Weasleys in the department as well. Along with that, she knew Cain was in the Order of the Phoenix as well.
"Bonjour, Cain," she said politely. Her once heavy French accent had lightened over the years, but it was still there a little. After all, there was a time in her youth when she knew very little English. "Oui, please sit down and join me. I believe we have been in each others' presence on a few occasions now, but have not properly gotten acquainted. You are a Hit Wizard, oui?" Another explanation as to why she didn't know him well. While she knew most of the Aurors, she hadn't really met the Hit Wizards and Hit Witches. They greatly intrigued her however.

Fleur listened with great interest as Cain spoke of his job. Yes she had accomplished much in her life, but she never used such accomplishments to look down upon others. There were many who had the courage and skill to do things she never could, and Cain seemed to be one of them given his job.
"Well you seem like you perform your job well," she said. "And if so, I commend you, Cain. As you said, not everyone could be a Hit Wizard. I strongly doubt I could." She noticed he seemed a bit nervous around her. She didn't bring it up though. She would simply try to make him feel a bit more comfortable by being herself.
"Yes, dealing with dark magic users is no picnic," she said. She loved that expression, perhaps because she adored family picnics so much. "I still remember the Battle of Hogwarts vividly. At times, I still have nightmares about it."
She then nodded when he asked about her job.
"Yes I do," she said. "It is certainly an interesting job, and I get to work at Hogwarts at times, which is wonderful as I get to see my son and my youngest daughter."

Fleur laughed when Cain showed his modesty. That was certainly an admirable quality though.
"I feel it doesn't matter how one fights to protect our world from darkness... merely THAT one wants to fight for that," she said. "I'm sure you do well, Cain, but I admire your bravery in wanting to join the Order. After all, we are the ones there when things are at their worst... when survival is even smaller a possibility."
Fleur listened to his experience in taking down top dark magic users.
"To defeat one who managed to flee that far is impressive," she said. "And believe me you should be glad you were not in the Battle of Hogwarts. It was heartbreaking to see so many one loved fall. Lupin... Tonks... dear, amusing Fred. Such a terrible night."
Fleur was interested to know this great criminal had threatened Hogwarts. She recalled something about that uttered among those in the Order, but the one had fled before the Order could become involved. Perhaps that man was the one Cain spoke of.
Fleur smiled as Cain asked about her family.
"Bill is doing well, and so are the children," she said. "Bill is away on business at the moment. I miss him and my two younger children who are in school. Fortunately Victoire is here now that's she's graduated. It's nice for Bill and I to see her more often."

Fleur heard the name and thought it over.
"Hmm... difficult to say," she said. "The Order has dealt with so many wicked individuals since I joined. Not only that, but in more peaceful times, the Order did not meet and we left many dark magic users to the Aurors, though as you know several of them are part of the Order. Jorus Garran... the name sounds very familiar though."
She listened as Cain spoke of what this horrible wizard had done to his parents. Listening to it made her all the more grateful that her family was still alive and well.
"I'm sorry to hear about your parents, Cain," she said. "And I understand you feeling empty. However, if you wish to know what I think, I do not believe you were chosen to be a Hit-Wizard because of that. It takes great talent and patience to be a Hit-Wizard. There are no doubt many in this world who have reasons to be vengeful, but I doubt all of them would be deemed eligible to take on the job you have."

Fleur nodded about Cain's parents being proud of him.
"I'm quite sure they would be," she said. "Not only are you good at your job, but it takes a brave and dedicated person to wish to join the Order. There is no other way to say it- to be in the Order is a very dangerous life, both for us and our families." She thought of what had happened to her family as of late- Arthur, James, Rose, Thomas, Hugo, and Lily. But it of course showed the family's courage and what they were willing to go through to preserve what was right in the Wizarding World.
The letter then showed up and Fleur smiled as it was revealed that he was going to Hogwarts.
"That's wonderful, Cain," she said. "And I'm sure I will see you there soon. My best to you." And before he left, Fleur rose and embraced him. "It was lovely meeting you too, Cain. Take care of yourself."
Shortly after Cain left, Fleur finished her lunch and went about her own duties as well.
