daydreaming* it's not that i won't remember where i'm from just don't want to be December was creeping upon the world and Keira felt it all too well. The undisturbed shack that sit in the dark wood, home to the Headquarters for the Black Army, was not well-suited to play host comfortably in winter. The snow-covered ground outside felt as though sneaked in under the walls and chilled the entire house. Keira cuddled herself in front of the fireplace, trying to warm up as her followers sat around the house in various rooms, chatting amongst themselves as they waited for her to give another command. At present, there were many things in the works for the Black Army, including the search of the remaining three items of the founders they needed in order to enact the Possession Pearl. They successfully retrieved one such artifact in their venture to Hogwarts during early summer, when they kidnapped the Headmistress who now sat in the basement, but there were three more they needed for the pearl to be used successfully. Keira wracked her brain with riddles and stories she'd heard of the founders. There were answers out there, she just needed to find them.
Keira stood from her eloquently-designed chair and stroked the head of her snake in passing to the next room. "I think I know where we can find the next founder item," she noted to the army members sitting. Their eyes fell on her and she nodded, turning back round to the room she'd come from, her long cloak sweeping the floor behind her. She heard the creaks of the floors behind her as her army followed her into the dimly-lit room. She took a seat before the fireplace once again. As she opened her mouth to speak, however, the front door flew past the open threshold of the room they gathered in. Immediately she withdrew her wand and saw her followers do the same, turning to look at the empty space where spells were now flying into the house. Keira screamed angrily.
They were found out.

Post by MINERVA MCGONAGALL on May 15, 2014 9:54:51 GMT -5
Dark, dank, and depressing was the basement in which Minerva was being held captive. She said frail and fragile against the far wall, muttering to herself. "-and you turned into a cat a few times," she said then chuckled. "That was fun." Minerva had nearly lost her mind sitting in the darkness and undergoing torture. Besides the bruises that trailed her back, arms, and legs, she had a bruised heart. It'd been months since she'd been there. Minerva lost all hope of a rescue. She didn't expect one now, not that there was any reason for people to rescue her. She was old and feeble and not the witch she used to be; she shouldn't have expected anyone to ever come looking for her.
So when the loud scream of The Dark Lady sounded, Minerva looked up at the basement door parting her from the rest of the Black Army. She didn't think anyone was barging in on them or anything or the sort; she merely supposed that Keira was angry about something. "I told you that you would not win this war," she chimed and then looked back at the floor, closing her eyes and listening to the cracks of spells being cast upstairs. Keira had a temper, certainly, and Minerva did not put it past her that the spells she was casting were intended to seriously mame her own followers. She gulped and folded her shaking hands in her lap, hoping that she was not Keira's next victim.

i'm not fearless note: let me know if i need to fix anything. Her eyes were dry and sore. She could not manage to cry anymore. When all the tears had been wasted, emptiness was the only thing to stay.
She had been sitting on the edge of her bed in her dorm room, staring out of the windows for hours. Under her bed was a medium size backpack. Inside it there were some clothes and a few books. Everything was ready for an escape, if necessary. Her mind drifted from one place to another, debating on where she would run, if she ever had to.
All being well, the aurors probably would arrive in the Black Army's headquarters in a minute or two. That is if the Aurors believed Vincent Greyback's words. The storm would rage and everything would fall to pieces, just like her life. Underestimating the Black Army, particularly the Dark Lady, was the worst mistake one could ever make in his life. As matter of fact, Aisling was smart enough to avoid making such a foolish mistake. Better than anyone, she knew that they would find out the truth, soon or late. The truth about her and her betrayal. The truth about the backstabber who had turned her back on the Army and revealed the location of the headquarters to the Ministry. Soon enough, heads would roll. Maybe she would still have a little time until then, for the uninvited guests at the Army's meeting would help make her absence unnoticed. But there was not much time left.
Strangely when Aisling felt nothing but serenity in her soul, as though she was ready for the unavoidable death. She remembered feeling the same when she showed up at the Ministry the other day, looking for an old friend - who had promised that he would keep her identity secret for her sake - to make all the wrongs right again. At the age of sixteen, the girl had nothing in this world to regret. If she ever regretted anything, she would regret being born a Dolohov and having Ethan as her father. If she ever regretted anything, she would regret making so many sacrifices for him - the one that told her nothing but lies, ripped her mother away from her and took away the brother that she loved so dearly. She regretted that her life was a lie and when she discovered the truth, it was already too late. And with the time she had left in this world, she wanted to do something right, stupid perhaps, but right.
Nothing would make up for the lives she had taken, or helped take. But not adding another name to that list would do. And this time, it was not just another name. It was the headmistress, who would be able to protect her friends and the people she loved from the Black Army's claws. All her life she had been nothing but hurting. And she knew she would never heal. She was born to be the poison, not the cure.
The only way to keep people from a poison is to destroy it.

Post by TANNER WILLIAM WEASLEY on May 15, 2014 10:46:35 GMT -5
to say tanner was nervous was a understatement. though it was a good nervous. he wasn't about to turn tail and run. this was his job and he was here to do it. to send them scattering. now they were going to make them run. tanner was glad he got to be a part of this, got to be a part of the group that would start to make the army second guess a few of their choices, like going after his family. and countless other people but right now the fact his brother had been hurt, his cousins and the people he held closest to his heart had been hurt by the actions of these people. he narrowed his eyes at the house as he shifted his wand in his hand so he had a better hold, this needed to go perfect. they needed a win from this. something to put hope back into the people that were loosing it. he shifted forward silently on his feet, making almost no noise as they approached the house and together hands lifted to blow the front door off it's hinges. moving forward he slipped into the house, through the open hole that had been the frame, raising his wand he aimed it at one person coming toward him before aiming it at the floor beneath him. "bombarda!" he spoke, hoping to send the army member hurtling to whatever was beneath them before looking up at the rest of them, his wand poised ready for the fight he knew was coming. "you all took something from us" he spoke as he raised his wand in defence against someone's spell. "and tonight we take it back" he said, his wand ready and waiting.
-- hope this is okay, if not let me know

(Note: Posting briefly as Dathan, then a follow up post with Cavalyn)
All had been going quite well. So far the Black Army had struck fear at Hogwarts, made a fool out of Minister Malfoy, and had one of the Hogwarts founders' objects in their possession. As he sat, Dathan smirked as the Dark Lady spoke of how they would soon have the next.
"Our adversaries are in disarray," he said. "And many don't even know that the enemy is under their very noses... and won't until it's too late." Burke spoke to so, and as he was about to her his mistress speak again, the Aurors burst in.
"Bloody hell!" he said, rising and preparing to attack. "How did they..." One of the Aurors chanted Bombarda, sending Burke flying before he could curse him. Burke landed against a wall, bumping his head hard and becoming quite dazed.

As Tanner Weasley's side was Cavalyn. Anyone who knew Cav well knew that if you were on her good side, she was an absolute sweetheart. But if you were one to practice dark magic and use it to harm others, you were dealing with a more than worthy opponent. With ferocity in her eyes, she aimed her wand as some of the Dark Lady's approaching minions.
"Stupefy! Stupefy! Stupefy!" she said rapidly to take down a trio of them. She then sneered. "Any other of you kumquats wanna dance because I've got the perfect song! It's called 'London's Scum Is Falling Down' and right now I ain't a fair lady!" She then prepared for the next round of attackers and what they had to offer.

daydreaming* it's not that i won't remember where i'm from just don't want to be Keira was not expecting the invasion that came upon them. As she grasped her wand in hand, she pointed it at the Aurors that rushed in and attempted to hit them with curses. "Avada Kedavra!" she screamed, watching the curse hit the wall and send bits of it flying. She looked to her army members and screamed, "Follow me!" Keira, knowing that her captive would find her way home and her own identity revealed, disapparated just in time to avoid a curse hitting her square in the chest.
