Silvia always wondered why the Sixth Floor was so drab. No one ever seemed to want to go there, and there was really nothing going on there a great deal of the time. No classes were held there, few club meetings were held there. Really the only reason anyone stopped there was if they had to use the restroom on the way upstairs or downstairs.
Silvia wanted to change that. She wanted the floor to be a special place that people would want to stop and see. So, in a way, with all students about to depart for Christmas, Silvia decided to give the Sixth Floor the gift of a makeover. And being artistic and uniquely creative, Silvia knew she could pull it off.
Soon the Sixth Floor was looking a lot better, decorated with an aware of garland, festive symbols, and a spell cast on the ceiling that looked like the night sky, similar to the one in the Great Hall, only a much smaller version of course. Sitting down, Silvia took it all in for a moment before she went to the next section to decorate it.

Oh no, oh no, oh no. Jac raced up the steps, trying to smooth her wild, curly brown hair out of her eyes. There was a sheen of sweat on her forehead and her calves were burning – all because she’d gotten back downstairs and – lo and behold – her bag was missing. Her bag. She’d left it during her stop-off at the Sixth Floor girl’s bathroom. Well, the location hadn’t really been that obvious until just five minutes ago – she’d originally raced up to the divination room and then down to the library, totally forgetting she had stopped on the sixth floor.
But now, she knew. She was in such a rush to grab her bag from the stalls that she totally missed the new additions to the hallway or the floor. Her hair was in her eyes, sweat was burning her red cheeks, she looked like a frizzled mess as she stormed into one of the stalls, grabbed her backpack and checked it over to make sure nothing was missing. But, really, who would steal a couple books on transfiguration she’d gotten from the library, her journal (which only had, like, three pages filled) and a couple of quills?
No one, that’s who.
Because nothing was missing. She was just being paranoid. Again. With a sigh, she ran cold water on her face, pulled her backpack strap over her shoulder, and then headed back out. She wasn’t in a huge rush now and it was better to get a quick breather. She had no classes and there wasn’t much work to do – Christmas holidays were fast approaching. As she stepped out of the bathroom, she was immediately hit with confusion. Where in the world was she? This did not look like the sixth floor.
Garland? Festiveness? The ceiling looked like the night sky! She turned her head this way and that, looking up and down the hallway. Sure, it could’ve been done by some flick of the wrist or by House elves, but they hadn’t decorated the Sixth Floor during her last few years. She wondered down the hallway, glancing at the decorations, before she noticed someone.
”Hey!” she said, a smile brimming on her face, ”Did you do this? It’s brilliant!”

Silvia still stared at the decor she had created when the girl approached. Silvia didn't look startled by her arrival. After all, she was expecting someone to show up eventually. She looked over and smiled a little at the other girl.
"Oh, hello Jacqueline," said Silvia. Silvia had a keen memory and remembered names well, even if she had only heard them once of twice. This particularly applied to those in her House and year, and Jacqueline was both. "Thank you very much. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I felt the floor needed to feel special like the others. I don't think a floor has feelings, but you still get a vibe of loneliness and sadness when you're in a place that is empty and often unused. Don't you agree?"
Silvia stepped over and looked toward the next section of the floor.
"Would you like to help me, Jacqueline?" she asked. "The spell is actually quite easy.
