Indy rubbed her eyes as she shuffled towards her regular table and collapsed on a chair with a huff. It was early and the sun had barely risen against the dark skies, sipping the coffee she smuggled into the library,making sure she sat hidding from few she took a few pieces of sheet music and tried to finish the song she was writing.

Tommy wandered about through the library, looking mostly for something to help on homework, when he spotted Indy. Looking around to make sure there was no-one to possibly bug them, he grabbed a book that at least looked promising, before heading over to where she sat. "Hey," he said with a slight smile, a bit surprised inwardly from how far he had come.

Indy looked up and smiled at she Tommy, figuring he had come there to study she moved some of her stuff for him to spread his out. "Hey yourself, how's things?" she asked taking a sip of her coffee. She loved that he was smiling more even if it was only a small one.

"Boring, but I guess that's better than depressing. Of course, if I don't get my homework done, I'm still in 5th year next year," he replied with a shrug. He had very little if any choice on that bit, but he knew that if he didn't get his school work done, the consequences would be pretty bad.

Indy sighed and tapped Tommy on the nose "Now now, being nelly negitive isn't gonna get you anywhere optimism works wonders" she said with a small snort. Even though she was not a morning person she still had to at least pretend to be cheerful, if only to get him talking about something else.

"Maybe so, but optimism also means seeing a glass half full when it's also half empty. Guess that makes me a realist," he replied with a shrug, then a roguish grin. He had to admit, Indy was right on that he needed to be more optimistic. Really though he figured the grin would get a good smile or laugh out of her.

Indy laughed and shook her head "Yes, but focusing on what you dont have more than what you do have causes more harm than good" She wasn't sure if she was awake enough to deal with metaphors and life analyses. "What classes are you working on? she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"True enough. As for classes, Charms and Transfiguration are what's slowing me down today," he replied with a sigh. Homework wasn't fun at all, and he was hoping for once he'd be able to avoid talking about it once he had spotted Indy, yet that wasn't as much luck as he had hoped. Maybe he'd luck out and she'd change the topic after all. Then he wouldn't have to put up with homework.

Indy rolled her eyes, homework was meant for later in the day. People should be sleeping, she should be sleeping. Sadly the ravenclaw girl couldnt sleep with her roommate's constant noise. "I think you should just wait till after noon, its too early to try and get your brain to work" a yawn fell from her lips as if to prove her statement.

"Might work, but I'm wanting to get this done at some point before the end of the day. Any procrastination and I risk not doing this stuff at all," he replied with a sigh. Then again, talking to Indy did sort of beat doing homework. Of course, her yawn had shown that she was tired, so for all he knew, she might end up going back to bed or something.

"Yep now on to more important things, want some coffee?" she asked smiling and offering him the thermos she had in her bag. She always bought more coffee than she needed with her to library in case she was extremely tired or fell asleep
