Wallace had gone home for Christmas, despite telling his parents that he wasn't going to. After the previous summer he was kind of tired of his mother's watchful eye. He was an adult now and his mother really needed to stop with her prying eyes. So most of holiday was spent inside the house or finding his way to go see Thalia over at the Nott's house. At least his parents approved of Thalia, that was a nice relief.
Right now was one of those moments. The seventeen year old slid down the banister of the stairs and he could already hear his mother fussing at him. ”You need to stop doing that Wallace Tristan Sinclair, you're going to hurt yourself.” Wallace rolled his eyes. He'd gotten plenty off his chest about the whole hurting yourself thing when he rode the train to school with Gisella. He was tired of being babied he wanted to be the man he was. Live his life the way he was going to live it. Who cared if it would put him into an early grave? ”Yes Mum, I'll be more careful next time,” he said in a slightly sarcastic voice. ”By the way, I'm going to go see Thalia, I'll be back before midnight,” he said with a slight grin. His mother looked at him and raised her brow. ”I'll be fine, I promise,” he told her, ”see you later.”
Before she could tell him no or anything else he threw on his dark grey winter cloak over his clothes before he went out the door. He was seventeen now, he felt as though he was allowed to go where he pleased. Besides he could use his magic however he pleased anyways. And at the beginning of holiday his father took him to the ministry to take his apparition text and he passed so it made traveling a heck of a lot easier. With a quick pop from his front door to the same place he always arrived at when he got to the Nott house he smiled at the welcome sight. His girlfriend was just on the other side of those walls. He was excited to be able to see her. It'd been a few days now and he was stir crazy to see her. He ran up the steps and gave a knock to her front door as he waited for her to answer.

Thalia had promised her father she would be going home for the holidays. Neither of her parents had been particularly happy with her for the amount of time she didn’t spend writing them, especially because she had done so diligently the years before. And, both of them didn’t seem to grasp just how preoccupied their daughter was with school. Thankfully, the year was almost over. Unfortunately, Thalia still wasn’t quite sure what she wanted to do with her life. She’d probably sit her parents down at some point and ask them what they expected for her to do. Not because the blonde was going to listen to what they wanted, but she figured it would be a good starting point on top of kind of gauging what she might want to do. Considering the amount of O’s she was bound to get on her exams, there wasn’t really a career she couldn’t get. Well, the only exception was a Quidditch player.
Still, as she awoke that morning, she knew that she had better things to focus on. She had quite a bit of homework to finish before she could really relax. She had put if off for the first couple of days, and she shouldn’t waste her time any longer. It must have been about three when she finally found herself looking up from the final portion of her Muggle Studies essay. She rubbed at her eyes absently before Ellie, her favorite house elf, popped into her room. “Ellie,” she chastised, though it hadn’t been very serious. After all, the house elf was older than she was and had had a hand in raising both her and Cole as well as their father. With an eyebrow raised, she listened to what the house elf had to say and flushed brightly with happiness. She sent Ellie to keep him distracted as she got prepared. Her hair had been a proper knot. She had piled it all upon her head and hadn’t paid any attention to it.
That had been the serious problem now as she ran a brush through it to try to get it out of control. She doubted that Wallace really cared what she looked like. After all, he had seen her after a night of cramming. The dark circles and the puffy eyes couldn’t have been attractive, neither could have the messed up she had gotten from rubbing her head in frustration. She slid into a black skirt while simultaneously trying to get her feet to fit into the black wedges she had gotten for Christmas. As she buttoned her shirt, she made her way out of her room. She made sure to grab her wand, as she honestly felt odd without it with her, and gestured towards her room so that all of her materials could start to put themselves up. As she climbed down the stairs from the second floor to the entrance hall, Thalia’s eyes flashed in joy. “Wallace!” She beamed, closing the steps between where he was standing and where she had been when she had first seen him. If someone had told her how attached she would have become to Wallace, she wouldn’t have believed it. “I have a present for you!”
Notes: Hope that's okay, . I'm out of practice. Outfit: here~
