Two- She was a Halfblood and her "real" father was a Muggle named Roderick Mynt, who of course lived happily with her and her mother, a witch named Miranda Mynt (formerly Miranda Balt). She grew up under this delightful knowledge as a your typical girl- loving dolls, pretty dresses, tea parties, stuff animals, and real animals that were cute and cuddly, or at least fascinating. Insects on the other hand... well she preferred said insect be a butterfly or lady bug. Assuming she was half-magical, it was really no surprise to her when she got her letter to Hogwarts. Roderick considered having her attend normal school, but seeing how excited Destiny was and hearing some sweet talk from Miranda, Roderick was convinced Hogwarts was right for her. At Hogwarts, Destiny was sorted into Hufflepuff because being an only child, or so she thought, did make her a tad socially awkward. She had a few friends growing up, but was a bit shy at most events she attended with her parents, only speaking when spoken to. She of course made friends at the school as Hufflepuffs tended to do, especially within her own House. She showed the two key traits of the Hufflepuff- hard work and loyalty, doing well in her studies and remaining true to those friends she made. It was during the summer before her third year that she discovered a few shocking truths. Looking around in the attic for one of her old teddy bears, she found a picture her mother had accidentally left in an old photo album. It was of her and a man named Rictor Monroe. Asking her mother about it, Miranda couldn't tell her daughter a boldface lie. She sat with her and told her the truth: Around nine months before Destiny was born, Miranda, then single, met a pureblood wizard named Rictor Monroe, who lied to her, saying he was single when in fact he was married and had a daughter. Rictor enticed the naive Miranda into a night of passion, and then the next morning told her the truth about his family before fleeing in guilt and leaving her pregnant. Fortunately, Miranda reunited with an old friend, Roderick, who still cared a great deal about her. He asked to marry her, gladly agreeing to help her raise her daughter. Once she was over the shock and awe of all this, Destiny desired to do one thing. She didn't care to meet the mean man who hurt her mother, but she did want to meet this older sister she know knew she had. Ever since she had returned to school, she had sought the mystery girl. hey guys, my name is L.J.! and I am rocking it at Age N/A years old, role-playing for roughly 3-Plus years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the Eastern Time Zone time zone, and hail from U.S.A/ so how about that! currently my character looks just like Bailee Madison or so i am told!
