you shoot me down The return of Professor McGonagall sent Victoire and the rest of the staff into a glorious position. Although it didn't mean that the Black Army was defeated, it did mean that they proved their strength to them. They weren't going to go down without a fight, but if Victoire had any say, then they wouldn't go down at all. She was far too determined to protect her friends and family to let their world be overcome with sadness, grief, and loss. She had known the worries her parents went through and to have to visit that dark place in person...well, Vic wasn't sure how she could brave that. She was a Weasley through and through, but facing evil at such largeness made her feel meek.
Victoire celebrated that January day by venturing out onto the grounds. Thankfully it wasn't snowing, but it was still pretty frigid. The grounds were beautiful despite the numbness overcoming her. She bundled up tighter in her chocolate-brown coat in attempt to keep warm as she walked round the Black Lake, the sun's reflection off its surface providing her a bit of warmth. Although Victoire was happy with the positive things going on in life, she definitely missed one of her favorite people in the world - Teddy. He was her best friend but no where to be seen; she knew his work was probably keeping him occupied enough as it was, lest she add to it by pestering him to make time for her. She didn't want to be the friend he came to find annoying.
The blond paused and leaned against a nearby tree, her arms crossed over her chest as she looked at the lake. It was quite a beautiful scene and she could only be grateful but so much for the fact that she was able to enjoy it past her Hogwarts' days. Being a part of the staff meant she got to enjoy the magical nature of the castle and its grounds, where such a view was only possible. She sighed, not of frustration but of admiration, and her eyes fluttered to a close as a breeze swept up the hair on her shoulders. In that moment, there was no where else she'd rather be.

Louis was going down to the lake to relax and think. The most recent full moon had taken a lot out of him. He zipped up his coat more as he left the school and made his way down to the lake. he found the lake relaxing no matter what time of year it was. He wrote a lot of his songs down by the lake, when he was at school writing them.
He had heard of the return of Professor McGonagall and was very happy to hear about it. (I’m late of this news so I don’t know if he would know. If he shouldn't, I’ll change it:)) He looked around for a spot to stop and lean against. He was walking slower than he usual would.
After a little bit, he spotted someone leaning against a tree near the lake. He was curious so he decided to go see who it was.

you shoot me down The crunching of the cold ground beneath shoes made Victoire realize she wasn't alone. She raised an eyebrow, her curiosity playing on her mind before she finally opened her eyes. Vic turned her head to the side and looked over at the boy making his way t her. She grinned. "Louis!" she cheered. Victoire pushed herself off of the tree and went over to her brother, giving him a one-armed squeeze before looking him over. "Don't take this the wrong way, but you look awful," she said, frowning. She knew that his transformations into a wolf weren't pleasant, but that didn't mean he had to be miserable, either. She just hoped there was something she could do for him. She crossed her arms over her chest again and bit her lower lip, tilting her head as she thought. "Do you wanna sit and chat? I've got time before I have to head back," Victoire offered, though in her head she was demanding. She wanted to catch up with her brother, despite their recent catch-up over Christmas, and make sure he was honestly doing okay. Being protective had its hardships, surely, but being a big sister made it necessary.
LOUIS SIRIUS WEASLEY (That's fine! And yea the whole school knows she's back so that bit in your post was fine, too.)

Louis smiled as he said" hey Victoire" he chuckled softly and said" i know i do, I'm just a bit worn out because of recent" he knew that he didn't look good, and that didn't bother him. He was still recovering from injuries from the recent full moon he had to keep a eye on the remaining bandages to make sure they didn't come undone. He could see the edge of them under his coat sleeves and at the end of his shirt. looked around and said" yeah we can sit and chat." He hadn't really spoke to his sister much recently. it would be good to catch up with her.
He sat down slowly when they went to sit down. He looked at his sister and said" How have you been doing, sis?" He hoped that she was doing alright. He may be the youngest in the family but he was very protective of his whole family. He had a tendency to sometimes be over protective at times.

you shoot me down Victoire chuckled, glad that Louis didn't take what she said to heart. "That's understandable," she said, nodding. "Great!" Vic cheered as Louis agreed to a chat. She really missed her siblings, but especially her little brother. He was so funny and easy to talk with. Unfortunately the wing had been pretty full lately, inhibiting her from talking with Louis. She was going to make sure to make time for him from now on, regardless of what was going on. "I've been doing good - ya know, just patching people up, chatting with some of the staff at meetings. I was able to sneak away last weekend to Diagon Alley for some pizza, but it wasn't a long trip," she said, nodding. "What about you? How are classes going?"
