At the beginning of the previous summer, Trini had looked forward to her Third Year and all that would come with it. By the end of the summer and by the time she had come to Hogwarts, a sense of frustration and determination overcame her. She no longer focused on all the wonderful things to be at the school. She returned to Hogwarts with one goal and one goal only... to find her sister Dahlia Monroe. She should have known it wouldn't be easy. The school was packed with students. And what was worse was that her real father, and she couldn't stand referring to Rictor Monroe as that despite never meeting him, never told her mother what House Dahlia was in. Trini knew by now she wasn't in Hufflepuff, but that still left three large Houses. She searched and tried every method possible to track Dahlia down the first part of the year, but no luck. Now it was January and she continued to fail in her task. And every Seventh Year she asked either said they didn't know the girl or just gave Trini an odd look and walked on, making Trini even more frustrated as he pondered just what that meant. Now she stood and just bounced a ball against a tree, caught it when it came back, and then threw it again. Several thoughts ran through her head. What if she never met Dahlia? Would it really matter in the long run? What if she did meet her and Dahlia was not happy at the little revelation? What if this mystery half-sister despised Trini? However, even such a thought didn't make her decide against her goal. DAHLIA ALYZABETH MONROE

Days were getting longer it seemed as the term was pulling to a close. There was still about a month and a half, but she was ready to get out of that hellhole called Hogwarts. One thing that weighed on her mind was what she would do afterward. Such a strange thought; working. Being in the Black Army didn't make it easy to pick a suitable career. Honestly, it meant that she'd have to continue to be the fake person she was at Hogwarts. Blowing her cover was not an option, nor did she want it to be. Aisling might have betrayed them, but she surely wouldn't. It would cost too much and it was something that she supported anyway.
Making her way across the courtyard, Dahlia wondered where Drew was and what he was doing at the moment. It was hard not being able to hang out with him like she'd want to, seeing as she wasn't supposed to be associated with him within the walls of the castle. With a sigh, she continued on. The courtyard didn't seem to have many people around, but one girl caught her attention; the ball she had bouncing off the tree. Well, she was bored, so why not make conversation. Walking up to the girl, she stopped a short distance away and crossed her arms casually over her chest. "Hey kid, what are you up to?" Obviously throwing a ball. But she didn't have a clue what else to say to the child.

Trini stopped throwing, catching the ball after the last bounce when the older girl walked up to her. Trini was friendly and all, but she was a bit shy around people who weren't in her House and year. Not bias by any means, just shy. She looked at the girl for a moment, wondering why one so old would wonder what a Third Year was up too. On the surface, Trini was just throwing a ball. Still, Trini was civil and sweet. "Nothing much," she said. "Just tossing the ball and thinking about things. You're a Ravenclaw I see. Blue suits you, compliments your hair." Trini figured a sincere compliment helped move things along, as she did think blue always tended to suit someone with blonde hair. Trini then sat for a moment and couldn't think of what to add. Finally, she thought of something. "You're a Seventh Year, aren't you? You might know my sister. Well, half-sister really... and I haven't... met her." Trini frowned a tad. DAHLIA ALYZABETH MONROE
