Harley was in the library. The lovely library. Her eyes lids were growing heavy, but she was ignoring the fact her eyelids were heavy, because she was getting sleepy, but she needed to finish her homework. Mostly everyone had gone to their common rooms, so the library was completely, and utterly empty. Harley wasn't wearing her Hufflepuff uniform, so you couldn't tell she was puff but everyone knew she was puff. Harley was to innocent to be anything else. Harley was in sweat pants, and comfy t-shirt. Harley was a gorgeous girl, and everyone knew it, but Harley. Harley didn't consider herself beautiful. She considered herself the exact opposite to be truthful.

Harley had laid her head down on the book she had open in front of her. She closed her eyes for a quiet minute then she awoke with a start. She looked at her watch she was wearing on wrist, and she had been asleep for 10 minutes. Harley sighed, and lifted her head, and looked around. The library was getting darker. She put her hair up into a messy bun, and looked around. She was quite glad that no one was around to see her looking like crap or that she was tired. She should go to bed, but she didn't want to move truthfully because she was being quite lazy. Harley put her back down on her book, and sighed again. She didn;t know what to do now.

There was nothing to do in the castle at night, he probably could sneak to hogsmeade but he didn't particularly care for the place. Stuffing his hands into the pocket of his grey sweatpants he dragged himself towards the library. Studying would do him no good, he was sure he could be a curse breaker, he had already gotten offers from the goblins.

The real problem was his lack of sleep, he lost his book on dreamless sleeep potions and the library's copy was rented out already. He knew the potion was only a crutch but he needed to sleep and not be plauged by dead bodies and torn families.

Finally enterint the library he walked through the rows of books untill he spotted a familar face. He paused and watched her for a moment, she looked dead on her feet. He walked over to the tired hufflepuff and smiled "Hey Harely, watcha doing?" he sat down at the table and didn't even attempt to study, studying was boring.

Harley looked at the boy in front of her and sighed . " hey what's up ? " Harley asked with tired , red eyes. She didn't know what to say to her friend in front of her. She was exhausted beyond all belief and everyone could see it on her face. She was even wearing her pajamas after all. Her head was still on a open book. Her face was getting a book imprint and she could feel it. She slowly say up and looked at Caelum in front of her. This boy was gorgeous and everyone knew it. Harley gave a weak smile .

" so what brings you to the library during this time if the evening? " she asks with a sleepy yawn after the words came out . Harley realized he asked her a question .

trying to study but falling sleep sadly. " she said with a small laugh but she was so tired to didn't come out a laught more like a groan.

Caelum returned Harley's smile, she was adorable. He tried to figure out why she wasn't asleep in her dorm until he spotted the book. Chuckling softly he tugged at the book so he could bring it closer. He tapped the book with his wand and it became it pillow. He handed her the pillow as he got up and held out his hand for her to take.

"Come, on ill show you the best place in the library to nap and ill help you study"

He didn't think she'd remember anything in her tired state, if course he could just let her stay up. Caelum was secretly glad it wasn't nightmares that kept her up, how was he supposed to help with that? He could barely control his nightmares. "You know, I think the books come to life at night, why else would the librarian lock the library at night...no one wants to steal a book a advanced Arithmancy...to many numbers"

Harley smiled at Caelum again. Harley placed her head back on the pillow that he made for her, then after a few seconds she lifted her head, and looked at him. A best place to nap? That sounded wonderful in her eyes. She couldn't wait " Well, take me to his wonderful place you like nap before I am dead on my feet, so show me this magically napping place. " Harley spoke, then stood up, and stretched. She hugged Caelum when he said he would help her study. That was the best sentence someone has ever said to her at this moment in time. She felt blessed that he stumbled to where she was at this moment in time. " Oh Caelum! You're the best! Thank you so much!!" She grabbed her book which was now a pillow, and turned back into a book, and shoved it back into her book bag that she had with her. She slung it over her shoulder. " Lead the way darling" She said rubbing her eyes again. She wasn't rubbing her neck at least, because she did that when she was nervous. She was glad she wasn't nervous. She waited for Caelum to lead the way to his special place he liked to nap. She was waiting. She was actually kind of giggling because she was so sleepy, and exhausted. Life of a student was hard. She didn't know how she actually made it this far.

Harley gave Caelum another smile, because she could, and would. Harley was a smiling person. Harley didn't look innocent but in all honestly, she was. She was a 17 year old virgin that never had a boyfriend. Harley felt pathetic most of the time when she saw couples. Everyone at Hogwarts seemed to be dating, or at least had people interested in them. Harley didn't. Harley knew something was wrong with her, but she wasn't sure what though. Harley pushed the negative thoughts to the back of her mind. She could be negative later when she didn't have company

Caelum snickered and lead her towards the back of the library where the bookcases were shorter but longer. They'd be able to hide their feet from the librarian. Placing a couple of notice me not charms, he also pulled two random books from the shelf and turned them fluffly pillows. He handed one to Harely and got comfortable on the other.

"So, what are you have troubling studying?" He asked after he was sure she was comfortable before they started down the boredom. He didn't even think she needed to study, nor did he know how many classes she was taken. He regrettably was taken six, he needed to get enough NEWTs to be a curse breaker.

"It helps if you know what career you want, then you only have to take those classes, it means less studying and more sleep"

Of course he was sure his amount of classes was because of his lack of sleep and not vice versa, did he really need muggle studies to be a curse breaker...it was up for debate.

Harley followed Caelum back to the nook, and she took the pillow he handed her. " Thank you hun" She said with a soft tone in her voice. She sighed, and thought of how she should explain what she was studying, and what she was studying for. She was studying for anything. She didn;t know what she wanted to do with her life. " I am trying to work on some potions but I can't focus because I am tired, and my mind is elsewhere. I honestly don't know what I want to do with my life.I have no idea, so I am studying for everything. " She said rubbing the back of neck in nervous. Harley just realized this the first time, ever that she had been alone with a boy, and that made her even more nervous. She had never been alone with a boy before. She felt her face getting hot. She could feel herself blushing so badly at this moment in time. She realized she was only wearing jammies. " I know i could get more sleep if I took the classes i only need but I don't what i am doing." She said fiddling with her hands. Her cheeks were still brightly red.

Harley laid down on her pillow, looking up at Caelum. She didn't know what else to say. She handed Caelum her potions book she had been reading earlier. " This is what I am studying at this moment in time" She said smiling at Caelum, then blushing some more. Harley's eyes locked with Caelum, but she unlocked their eyes before, she hoped, would notice.

Caelum nodded as she talked before he started laughing, she was adorable when she rambled. He made himself stop laughing and shook his head "It's actually a lot more simple than you think, their are a lot if magical and non magical jobs, so tell me what you like to do and ill make suggestions, because cramming a bunch of facts with won't work well" He smiled but didn't comment on her face changing color, instead he cycled his hair and eyes through different colors to help her feel better. Unfortunately Caelum didn't think she was nervous because of him, more like having no plans for after school.

"Besides potions is best studied practically not theoretically, so lets find something more productive to do with this book." He turned it into another a pillow and winked at her before putting it under her head. He followed his subtle advice and laid down also, all that was missing was a blanket and he looked around for something to transfigure into a blanket.

"Im gonna be a curse breaker, but sometimes I wanna be a writer, either way my parents will find something wrong with it, they like ministry jobs way to much. I don't think I could have a boring job....I'd sleep all the time" he turned to face Harely and started counting the number times he could see her eyes droop. He didn't think she'd be able to stay awake long, he had a plan.

Harley smiled at Caelum. " That sounds like a wonderful job. Your parents are dumb if they aren't proud of you Caelum. You will do amazing as a curse breaker! " She said putting her hand on top of his in a friendly manner. More friendly than she was tending. Harley was a friendly person, but no one knew that because no one gave her a chance, because she looked like a complete, and utter bitch. Harley was still smiling at Caelum. Harley found Caelum adorable. Harley felt her eyes slowly dipping down. " I am so sorry I am so sleepy. I promise. I am not usually like this, but you know that. " She said continued to rub the back of her neck in a nervous manner. He made her nervous, more than he should have. " So what do you want to talk to now? I am sorry if I am being boring, Caelum. I honestly don't mean too" Har said in a rambly, nervous tone. She didn't know what else to say, and she felt like she was just rambling on, and on. Harley was known for that. She liked to talk a lot

"Eh, it's not exactly the safest the job in the world" Caelum saud shrugging adding a mental tallly to his count. He smiled in returned but didn't look at thier touching hands, he wasn't completely clueless. He scruched his nose as she got increasingly more nervous as the time went on.

"Relax Harely, why dont you close your eyes and tell me what you like to do for fun" He hoped he'd be able to help her relax enough to go to sleep. Sadly neither of his gifts were good at making people relax. Unless of course he changed his face and impressions.

"Nah you're not boring you're just tired, besides im sure you can have fun when you're not tired, you'll just have to show me later"

He gave her a small smirk and transfigurwd his jacket into a blanket and covered her u. "i dont know any lullabies sadly"

Harley smiled. She couldn't sleep now. She watched him transfigure his jacket into a blanket for her. She wasn't sure what to think bout his kindness. " thank you Caelum! Your awfully sweet! I like to read and hang out with friends. You know the usual. I am still sorry I am so tired! I feel so bad ! Harley spoke her eyes avoiding his face. Her eyes drifted to the ceiling of the library!

Harley wasn't great in these type of situations " so tell me something bout you! I promise I won't judge. " Harley said with her eyes still fixed on the ceiling. Her cheeks were still red but they were fading. She didn't know what else to say or do. She was still layhing on the pillow that was once a former book. Harley had a hard time being to sweet, like she was now. It was hard for her not to be, because it just how it was. How she was.

Caelum shrugged and smiled kindly at Harley "Honestly I don't mind, I've had plently of nights I needed sleep but couldn't get it." he nodded and thought about what type of careers she could get. "Well you could always, buy or start a shop, I know the banks gives loans" he offered up helpfully, she'd be able to hang out with people and have fun that way.

"I'm I have a sister and brother, both me and my sister both have the metanorphagus ability, uhmm..more if loner than anything really...thats about it"
He purposely glossed over the fact he was a seer and why he wanted to be a curse breaker. He didn't like talking about it and more often than not, he hated going to divination.

Harley smiled but it was a uncomfortable smile. She didn't know what to say honestly. Harley wasn't great with awkward situations but she knew that there wasn't really any way to fix it. She could either sit in silence or try to make it less awkward, but she didn't know what to do.  " I think a shop would be a fun idea. I am not sure what kind of shop i could do, but a sweet shop could be fun, but there is already HoneyDukes Sweet Shop so.." Harley said fading off. Not really know what to say. She heard he was a metamorphmagus. She found that extremely interesting. She also heard that he had brother, and sister. She smiled, and looked down at her hands. She didn't have any brothers or sisters. She was an only child, so she didn't know what siblings were like. She sat up, and moved away from Caelum, silence filled the air around them. 

Harley stood, and stretched her legs. She was getting tired of laying down, but she still couldn't sleep. She didn;t know what else to say. She was walked over to the bookshelf, and was looking for a book to read to keep her mind off the awkwardness. She got a feeling that he didn't want to talk, so she wasn't going to pressure him into anything he didn't want to do. She ran her hand over the spines of the books, feeling them with her feelings. Her mind was full of thoughts.

Caelum's eyes followed her as she got up, maybe he sounded stand offish? He hadn't meant to, it was just that telling girls your family was cursed a billion generations ago was a mood killer. He stood up and followed after, touching her arm slightly to get her attention. "There's always diagon alley" he said giving her a small smile.

"Anyways, I wanted to ask you question the other day, but I was distracted" he said standing aginst the bookshelf, hoping to divert her attention away from the books. He didn't want to ask her unless he had her attention, that and he was afriad he had hurt her feelings with his evasiveness.

Harley smiled, and turned her attention to Caelum. " Yes Caelum?" Harley said with her eyebrows raised up , and she had her question face on. She wondered what he was going to ask her. She was completely clueless.  She still had her eyebrows raised, of course.She was looking him directly in the eyes, but she always felt eye contact was weird, so that didn't last very long. Caelum was the type of guy to make girls weak at the knees, at least that is how Harley felt, but Harley being Harley never really acted on those feelings. Harley was the quiet type that usually stood in the background, and let life pass her by. She wasn't sure why but she never really cared for being a go getter, but her mother was never a go getter either. Harley shook her thoughts out of her head, and turned her attention back to Caelum, and her eyes focused back on his.  She didn't know what to expect. She was nervous though, she knew that much.
