Rollo was both a loner in appearance and not in reality. He often found himself apart from others because his thinking simply got very deep frequently. At the moment he was completely free of dark thoughts however, his uncle being back down in France and thus off his mind at the moment. The ring on his finger did make him think of his uncle, but not so much in the dark way as the generous and protective way. And it was easily one of his favorite possessions. Currently however he was in the Owlery and he was quite distracted. While he had not mastered the transformation to become an Animagus like his Uncle, his own talent of speaking to predator birds served him well daily as he often sent his owl to pass messages to his friend in Slytherin. And just talking to them in general he did fairly frequently as well, though most owls didn't have the same interests humans did. He had learned an awful lot about flying however which would be very handy when he did learn how to transform. Sitting on a conjured stool over near the window, Boco his Merlin sat on his knee, peering up at him as he stroked his feathers and spoke to the nearest owls, one tawny and one white. He had no letter, he was there purely for the company and to listen to what they were seeing on their way in and out of the castle grounds. The Owls missed very little happening outside around the school, but the news about a cloaked figure leaving the castle last night and not seen returning had his interest. "And no one saw them coming back," he asked the tawny owl (named Silva) with a curious look, "because that is really interesting. I wonder how they got out of the castle without going through the main door. Probably a window on the first floor." He resolved to go down and see what windows were unlocked when he got done here...
