Kat found it odd when Cole spoke of her needing to be taken care of. For many years at Hogwarts, which she was still very much a child, she had taken care of herself. She was almost an adult now, so why did she feel she needed someone to take care of her? Because of her mother passing? Because of how secure she always felt in Cole's arms? But it honestly wasn't a matter of NEEDING someone to take care of her. She WANTED Cole to. And that was good enough.

"I know you'll always be there for me when I need you, and the other way around, Cole," she said sincerely. No smiles or smirks this time.

She was happy Cole understood about the museum. She had heard of so many relationships that had bombed because one or both of the people in it were selfish. She and Cole didn't have that. Both realized they each led two lives- the ones they had alone and the one they had together. Well not literally alone, but... well one got the idea.

She did disagree when he said Draco was helping her more than he.

"You've been perfect so far," she said. "Don't screw it up by saying things like that. Cole, if you only knew how much you've helped me, especially since my mum died. When she passed on, I felt empty, and my friends, as much as I care about them, couldn't fill it. When you showed me how much you loved me and that you were the one I was meant to be with, that void filled again. With all due respect to your uncle, no amount of financial generosity can equal that."

She then embraced him again and kissed him before laying her head on his shoulder, caring little about who was watching at the sweets shop.

Cole smiled when Katrina explained to him how much he had been helping her. He honestly had felt like he had been unhelpful and distant since he had been spending so much time with his team either on the pitch or in the gym. "Well I'm glad to her that, Katrina." he smiled and drew her to him, focusing on her and ignoring the rest of the sweet shop. "You are the first girl that i have gotten really serious with. You're the first one tht i introduced to my parents and i hope you're the last. So, with tht being said, i think moving in together is a good step for us. I'm glad you're comfortable with that too." he kissed her then finally looked around, able to see how weird this would look to anyone else. "Are you ready to go get food? Or tea or whtever?" he asked her, still keeping her hand in his.

Katrina wasn't one to grin and giggle and bounce around when she was super happy... thank goodness... but inside she was very happy at this moment. A few months from then, her life would take on something of a fairy tale ending, or at least a dream come true from her perspective. She would be with the man she loved and she would have a career in something she had loved all her life. Katrina didn't know if she had deserved such happiness, and perhaps she did after staying strong in all those hard time- being alone, her mother passing, but happy times were here and she would accept them with open arms.

"Meh, you can introduce my friend Ali to them too if you want," said Kat with a smirk. "She's cool. But seriously, I may not be showing it, but I'm really excited about this. I just keep the giddy schoolgirl stuff inside, you know?"

Kat then look around at the stares.

"Oh it's not like you haven't seen a star Quidditch Player getting chummy with a girl before," she joked to them. Some kept staring while others got the idea to go about their business. She then turned to Cole. "Yeah, let's go check out this cozy tea place."

Cole smirked when Katrina said that he should introduce his parents to Ali, "They already know Ali. A perk of her being beat friends with Thalia for so long. They like her. Of course, they know the French Veela... not the real her." Cole had known Ali for years, not to mention that in a way they were related: every pureblood was somehow. "But i think they'll love the real you. If they don't already." He insisted. When she aaked if he wanted to go he nodded and lead her out, leaving the chocolate frog on the shelf. He felt sweet enough.

Kat smiled about Cole's parents liking her.

"I hope so," she said. "It will make future get-togethers a lot more pleasant."

The rest of the day was as wonderful as days with Cole always were. She wasn't as sad when he left as she usually was. She would miss him of course, but now there was the fact that she was about to move in with him and when she graduated, she would be with him for the long run. That would keep her happy while she waited the next time she saw him.
