Light me up like fireworks

Harley couldn't sleep, and she was getting restless in her dorm room, and it was almost midnight. Harley sighed, and made her way to the Astronomy Tower. It was her favorite place to think, and get her mind off the reason she couldn't sleep. Harley had a lot on her mind to begin with. The air in the Astronomy tower was cold, but it was february after all. It was still winter. Harley hated winter. She hated the cold but it was refreshing, and nice to say the least. Harley had warm pajama pants, a t-shirt, and a sweater on , plus some socks on. She felt like shoes would be really neede since she was staying in the castle.

Harley leaned up against the wall of the Astronomy tower, and took in the fresh air. It crisp air filled her lungs, and made her feel better, because she had been sweating down in the dungeons, but now she wasn't. She leaned down until she was sitting down on the floor. She didn't hear footsteps coming up the stairs, because she was in her own little world, that she didn't even notice.

While it was night Alexis had his job to walk around the Hogwarts grounds. Many things has happened and he wasn't sure if everything was working out for the school, but he confessed himself that he shouldn't be afraid. That is what he promised when he took the job as professor. He was a rolemodel for the students, and when one was afraid it wouldn't help them. So grabbing his wand at the night, he headed out for his normal routine. While he knew not many students would be around, there were probably a few out of bed. Maybe to cause trouble, maybe just some that couldn't sleep. It was then that he headed to the Astronomy Tower. For Alexis that was a place that could stop him from any thoughts. It was place that made the wind blow around, giving a fresh air and giving him the escape he sometimes needed.

While taking step by step further to the Astronomy Tower he heard something. He could hear the wind rushing through the place, as a smile appeared on Alexis face. "Some fresh air will do me good, and it is not like there would be any student out of bed at this time."He said. He then opened the door as he looked at the sky. The stars were bright, the wind was blowing around him and then the person that was on the ground. A student, as he turned to her. He closed the door, so no one could hear him. "Young lady what are you doing out of bed."Alexis whispered as he looked at the young blond girl.

Harley jumped to her feet when she heard a voice. She turned around, and saw a professor. Alexis Zimmerman. She was scared. He could give her detention for being out of bed during this late of a night. " Oh professor, I am sorry. I didn't see you there." Harley said, her cheeks turning bright, bright red like someone pinched her so hard that it hurt her cheeks, but she was still smiling, and being the nice girl she was. She felt bad for even being here now. " Professor, please don't give me detention. I just can't sleep, and I need some fresh air. " Harley was now rambling which made her blush even more. She didn;t know what else to do.  She looked out at the stars, and swifted toward the windows, and gazed out of it. THe stars were beautiful, and the night was peaceful but she hoped Professor Alexis Zimmerman didn't give her dentition.  She turned her attention back to Alexis, and her eyes were wide, and she was about to start begging if he did give her detention. She bite her lip. She waited for his answer bout this detention or not.

Alexis looked at the young girl that suddenly noticed him standing there. The girl turned from a white skin to a red one blushing. While he might needed to give her detention, he didn't want to. "lets not talk about that dear" he said as he then put a hand on her shoulder. "The night is young, and we are alone. Tell me what is wrong with you, that you can't sleep?" he said as he gave a smile to her. Alexis was different, while he might look stern, he wasn't. Not here at the Tower with the night young, a beautiful girl and the stars shining.

Harley let out a deep sigh, and felt relieved when he said he was going to give her denation. That was weight off her shoulder. " Thank you so much. I owe you for this" She said truthfully. She was right. SHe did owe him a lot for not giving her detention . She didn't need that on her record at all. He asked her about why she couldn't sleep. She thought about it, and honestly, it was because she couldn't get comfortable and she had too much on her mind. " I can't get comfortable, and I am not tired, plus I have too much on my mind i guess, to be honest. I have a ton of homework, plus I have no idea what to do after Hogwarts. I am super stressed, and just, I have no idea anymore" She said resting her arms against the window, and looking out of it. She hated being rambling but males seemed to do that to her. They made her rambly, and stupid. She was naturally not stupid. She was quite smart, but no one knew that since she was so closed off, and no one knew the real her.

Alexis looked at the young girl that took a deep sigh. It felt like she was relieved and her next few words made that thought complete. While he didn't like that people owe him for something, he thought it could never go wrong to have some support or help from someone else. It was something that in many books were written. "I have no problem with you being here Miss."Alexis said. "While I can understand the rules says different, I always come up here to get away from everything, it is just like the wind blows it away." He said. He had his wand in his hand as he mumbled a few words. Two chairs appeared as he grabbed the hand of Harley, gently bringing her to one of the chairs and putting her down. He heard her story as he looked at her. He was looking at her and knew what to do. "There is a simple solution for everything, you just need to do it slowly, and one at the time." He said. "Comfortable and tiredness can be arranged for you, once we take the pressure from the rest." Alexis said. He looked at the star that fell as he then turned back to her. "Relax it will be all fine. I can help you with the homework if it is needed, and you still have a few months, take your time to find yourself and you will find what you want to do."He said as he smiled. "Trust me everything is going to be fine." He said as he touched her hand.

Harley smiled at the professor in front of her. " thank you professor for everything!" Harley spoke in a calm voice. She sighed . " I honestly don't have time. I feel like time is going by so fast and it's not slowly down. I just have no idea what I am doing and it's so overwhelming and I just feel like I an bot going fast enough" Harley spoke in one huge sentence trying to get it all out . She felt tears threatening it spill over her eyes . This usually happened when she was overwhelmed but she couldn't cry because crying was weak and she needed to be strong. She didn't have any other choice than to be strong. " I am sorry for dumping this on you professor. I really am but I am so stressed out . I feel like crumbling." Harley said in a rush tone. There is was. Word vomit. Her cheeks continued to get more and more red with each passing second . Then bam came the tears. She was a utter mess. " I am sorry. I don't mean to cry. I just ugh!! " she said in a frustrated tone

Alexis saw the smile on the face of the girl as he gave a smile back. "No problem Miss and while we are out here, just call me Alex."[/b]He said. His real name was Alexis but everyone made it simple to Alexis. "All you have to do, is take your time, you are the own boss of your own." he said as he looked once again to her. "No one can control what you do, always remind that. Because you have the control over yourself" He said. He then looked into her eyes as he could see her slowly getting weaker. "Don't mention it, I am not a professor for teaching, well I am, but I am also a professor to help the students and you need it."He said. He then saw her eyes slowly filling with tears, as he stood up. Grabbing her by the hands as he sat down. He then pulled her on his lap as he wrapped his arms around her. "No one has to stay strong for me. Sometimes it is good to let it all go."He said as he rubbed her back. "It is all going to be okay, I will promise you that."He said.

Harley smiled as he pulled her onto his lap. Harley had never been in this situation before, and it was awkward, and comforting at the same time. She looked into Alex's eyes, and felt a pull like something was pulling her forward. She hugged him, and cried. " I shouldn't be doing this. I shouldn't be crying in your lap, and I feel like a utter fool. I probably look like a utter fool. I am in my pajamas, and my eyes are full of tears. I am crying over something completely, and utterly stupid. I feel so bad now. You probably have better things to do than sit her, and listen to my rubbish" She rambled on, and on, then she shut her lips, and stopped talking. Talking wasn't going to make it any better. She continued to gaze into his eyes. He had the prettiest eyes, and she had to admit he was one of the cutest professors she had ever seen which made it better. " Thank you for listening to my foolish" She said in a gentle, hushed tone as she brushed some hair away from her face.

While Alexis knew this wasn't good to do he still did it anyway. It wasn't like anyone in the dark of the night would look for them. He was on patrol and the door was closed, so he had nothing to worry about. While it might have been wrong but he felt the hug of her and he melted away. He took a few strings of her hair away, as he raised her chin. "Look at me, while would you be a utterly fool. The only thing I see, is a young beautiful girl. That tries to fight so many things in real life. A struggle trying to be strong, but sometimes you just have to let it go." He said."And you know what, it makes you even more beautiful then the stars in the sky, because you are not afraid of showing emotions, and that while sitting here on my lap under the sky." He said. He heard her talking and talking as she then took the step to stop. It was nice as he gave a smile. "Don't worry I will be always there for you." He said as he looked into her eyes.

Harley's heart was racing, and beating so hard that she was pretty sure that it was going to beat out of her chest, and fall onto the floor but she knew that her rib cage contained into her small, petite bodice. His words seemed to melt her into a puddle. She wasn't sure why, and how he did it. She knew it was wrong but maybe her heart was lying to her, but she didn't want to second guess herself. She leaned forward, and touched her lips to his in a swift motion. She kissed him, and she didn't regret it at all. It felt so right, and she knew that. She felt like her body was exploding. Her stomach was filled with butterflies, and her heart was racing and beating so hard at that moment in time she didn't know what to think until one thought popped into her head, and then she quickly pulled away. He was a professor, and he was older than her. She would get him in trouble. She looked into his eye, and stood up from his lap. " I am so so sorry, Alex. I didn't mean to do that. I am not sure what came over me" She said mutterly. Her cheeks turned bright red, and her face went emotionless.  Her lips were in a straight line. She didn't know what came over it. " Thank you for always being there for me though. It means a lot to me. I am sorry for the kiss. I really am." Her voice was still in a hushed tone, almost like she was trying to talk, but she knew she had to say something. She opened her mouth to say more, but she closed them again. She was headed for the door. She knew she shouldn't have broken down. Now what has she done? The pit of her stomach was all in knots, and not in a good way either.

Something changed within the reaction from Harley the girl that was standing in front of him. While that changed, he could feel the same thing. That moment right there made his stomach turn. She kissed him and as that happened Alexis pulled her closer. Leaning in and enjoying every minute of the kiss. It was like a few seconds later that she stopped. She knew as did he what could happen if people find out about them. "I know the punishment if they find out, but you are a seventh year, soon a witch in the wizarding world. I promise you they won't find out." He said. He saw her leaving and heading for the door. Hs stood up walking after her as he pulled her back to him. Wrapping his arms around her. "Would you really think it doesn't mean anything if I do this." He said as he then kissed her with passion, keeping her close and giving a moment that he didnt want to end.

Harley felt Alexis kiss her, and she felt her insides explode all over again. She kissed him back, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, and pulled herself closer to him. There bodies pressed up next to each other. She ran her fingers through his hair, and felt it. It was soft, and felt good between her fingers. She finally pulled way from him , and gazed into his eyes. Her body was still numb but in a good way from the kiss, and their bodies pressed up next to each other. She didn't know what to say or if she should say anything. She felt like turning into a puddle, and going to the floor. She felt like a bad girl which surprising made her feel good, and felt like actually she had life. She wasn't sure where this would lead, maybe to something great or maybe a disaster. She had no idea, but she hope it was something great, and amazing. " i am not sure what to say. Have you liked me for a long time?" She asked with raised eyebrows. She was quite curious, and sometimes it goes the best of her.  Her bodice was still pressed up against his, and she didn't want to move any time soon, but she knew she need to sit down but her knees gave way. She moved away from him and planted her butt into one of the chairs. " What if they do find out, and you get your teaching license revoked or something awful. I would feel so guilty?!" She said stating the facts in  honest tone. She would, and she didn't want him to be the cause why he lost his license.

The love was endless as they kept the kissing going. Looking at her while kissing. Feeling their bodies touch each other his heart beating faster and faster for the girl that pulled each other close. He felt her arms around his neck and he knew this was a feeling he couldn't be afraid off. Looking at her when she pulled away. While she started to gaze into his eyes, he did the same back. That moment was something, it showed something special between them and it was more then just this first meeting. It felt like soulmates already. Alexis then heard her words. It was weird to let her say that. Yes he did had a feeling for her, but it was never there until now. It was like his body completely took over. No resisting. "While it might not look like it, I have loved you since I came here at school. and that is a year ago."He said as he looked at her. "While I could never do it, this was the moment my heart took over and only for you." He said. A smile appeared on his face as he gave a grin. She saw her taking a sit on the chair as he gave a smile. "Don't worry about that, you are soon no longer a student, and I have always been a Historican, if it really matters I will go back to my original job. Anything to help you and give you anything you need my dear." He said as he pulled her close. He sat down as he pulled her back on his lap. Slowly starting to rub her body, as he leaned forward kissing her with passion and full of love. "Don't ever leave me." Alexis said. In between the kisses, he kept rubbing her body, hoping to give her a good time and moment.

Harley pulled away suddenly, and looked at Alex, and moved off his lap. She didn't want to tell him she was a virgin but she had to tell him she was or things would go to far. She didn't want to lose her virginity if someone was going to walk out of her life, and never come back. She looked down at her hands, as she was standing. " i am sorry. I can't have sex with you, because I am " She said trailing off. SHe was scared to tell anyone that. No one actually knew she was a virgin. It wasn't like a big secret or anything. She knew she didn't finish her sentence. " I am virgin actually if you didn't catch the hint. " She said truthfully, and crossed her arms across her chest .  She was still staring at the ground like a wounded puppy. She wasn't really wounded but she hated admitting her weakness. Being a virgin was a weakness, at least Harley thought it was.  " How can you love someone you know nothing about ? We haven't even spoken once until now" She said truthfully, and moved to the window. She was now gazing out of it. The stars were shining brightly, and the moon was light like a candle flickering in the darkness.  She sighed, and spoke " How can I leave someone who will leave me first?" She spoke in a monotone, and her voice guarded.
