His father was of a supporter of the Dark Lord and though he did associate with other death eaters, some of wealth, he never bothered leading a lavish lifestyle, only having what was necessary. He worked for the ministry and though he was often suspected of taking part in any acts during the reign of Voldemort he was never convicted and like most used Imperius Curse as an alibi for any accusations. While his father worked at the ministry, his wife stayed at home with Theodore. She was a lanky woman who was often quiet with her believes. She often got lost in her own thoughts and neglected her son like her husband. Her true love was gardening, alone she tended to the greenhouse in their property, leading a young Theodore to one of his biggest passion; herbology. Even though he never joined her in there, he’d merely watch her and participate when she’d leave the grounds. Theodore was an only child and taught himself many things. He had a house elf that would watch him. The elf never dared ask anything and only cared for Theodore, he taught him how to read and write since Theodore never went to school before attending Hogwarts. When Theodore turned nine years old, he still hadn’t shown any signs of magical abilities and his father feared him to be a squib, however later on his abilities finally showed. Theodore was a curious boy but never asked his parents a lot of questions. From early experiences he found that asking questions would get him the rest of the day locked inside his room. Theodore found other ways to get answers, usually sneaking around empty rooms inside his house when his parents were away. Though his parents kept mostly to themselves they did make sure to teach Theodore that his family and others that were pure were superior to muggles and muggle-born wizards (his father taught him anyway). Theodore didn't think of it twice before accepting their ways and found it logical. He had always found himself above others, not only because of his blood but because he thought it was special that he could learn so much and get to things so easily without anyone knowing. Well not only that, but because he was able to talk to his pet cat, a gift from his mother before he went to school. Life was typical for Theodore even after he got his letter and attended hogwarts, he pretty much just walked around like he did at home. Until he realized how awkward it was to be amongst other children. While at school in his second year, Theodore’s mother had left his father because she was tired of his hard pureblood views. It was only until his christmas holiday that Theodore found out the news, his father let him know that she had run off with a half blood, sometimes he’s say it was a muggle - to his father they were both the same, both tainted and a disgrace. This made Theodore uneasy towards those that were lesser in blood. During his fourth year, Theodore matured a little more and started to notice others around him, he became curious about his classmates. He admired a certain student’s brains and witty comebacks, and he was intrigued by another’s unusual way of life. He always stayed behind trees and in class he would sit in the darkest corner, never really wanting to be seen but being able to see everyone else. Theodore drew good marks in most of his subjects except for CoMC and Charms. Potions and Herbology were his best subjects. At the end of his fourth year, Theodore like many students returned home for the summer. The summer which his father continued to tell him to detest those that were less than pure. Always keeping a blank expression, Theodore didn't admire his father or his ways, he did not buy his explanations of why those less than pure were worthless; especially since some of the wizards he found tolerable were muggle born, half bloods or “traitors” yet they were quite bright. Theodore of course never said anything, just kept quiet but his father knew he wasn't learning a thing and therefore defying him. What was actually different from that summer was that his father let him know that their riches were gone, he did not explain how but let him know that it wouldn't be for long, seeming to draw a scheming plan. Theodore was worried when he entered his fifth year but tried not to let his lack of wealth bother him, at least no one knew so far. So he went on to what seemed like another typical year for him, with his only companion Thackery, his black cat. hey guys, my name is smalls and I am rocking it at years old, role-playing for roughly 2+ years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the central time zone, and hail from The US so how about that! currently my character looks just like Michael Marcuss or so i am told!
