It seemed so odd to think about it. This would be the last time Daphne came to Hogwarts to inspect the school while one of her children were attending. Merlin, they were growing up so fast. Her dear little girl was graduating. But of course Daphne would keep coming as long as she was Head of the Department of Magical Education. She was professional after all. It would just feel... different not getting to say a quick hello to Thalia, as the year before that it felt odd knowing she would not see Cole there anymore... or Scorpius for that matter.
Stepping in, she watched the students, seeing many of them looking worried, some looking happy that they were about to be gone for the summer... or for good. Others saddened that they would miss friends. Daphne sighed. If only she felt such things when she graduated. But all she really felt was that Hogwarts was a means to an end, and that she was simply moving on to a new chapter in her life.
Standing in the Great Hall, she awaited a Staff Member.
