Life had been a world wind for Katrina since she graduated. After seven years, she had to say good-bye to Hogwarts, her friends, Professors she had not only come to respect but like. Then there was turning her mother's home into the museum. Thanks to Draco Malfoy, she had a wealth of assistance, and even had employees there- security, housekeepers, and people to run a gift shop. Her museum had a gift shop! She didn't realize how strange it was going to be being these people's boss. But this was her dream, it was her tribute to her beloved mother, and she would do her best. Finally, there was moving into Cole's flat. She was nervous and excited about that as well, especially since soon they would be going off to Paris together... alone... well aside from Philo and Jill's brief visit. Kat took a breath as she walked in and placed the last of her bags down on her bed. She looked about the place. It was so small compared to her mother's home, but it was quaint and she liked it. It was her new home after all. COLE THEODORE NOTT

Cole had taken the day off from practice to help Katrina move in. He hadn't realized how weird it was going to be having her live there with him until all of her boxes and bags had started moving into his flat. It wasn't as if he regretted it, he just couldn't help but think that it might be time for an upgrade soon. When he had go the flat, he had done so without thinking of the possibility that she would live there with him. The flat was just going to be his place. Somewhere close to the pitch with easy access to town and food that he didn't have to prepare for himself. But now that she had moved in and the amount of things had doubled while the amount of space had shrunk, maybe something slightly bigger was in their future.
Cole was excited. And even that was an understatment. He had hung the painting (the one that he had bought in Greece when they were there last summer and had been hiding every since.) He hung it right above the sofa in the living room and had covered it with a curtain so that the unveiling could be a surprise. He had seen how much Katrina was in love with the piece of art and he wanted nothing more than for her to have it... for them to have it. "Hey. Ignore the unpacking for a little while longer." Cole said leaning in the doorway of the bedroom that while once was his, now was theirs. "I've got something for you." He grinned.

Katrina turned and smiled at Cole. She had smiled at Cole every time she looked at him that day. She thought of the future, both the near and the long term. Kat was so happy, the happiest she had been since... well who knew when. She was also curious. Cole seemed very excited about something. He had apparently bought her another gift. She almost wanted to get on to him for spoiling her so much, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. When she walked into the room, she froze at what she saw. There it was... "The Ship That Never Came." Her all time favorite painting. She was finally able to move and drew closer. How did Cole... wait, she knew how. "You... you bought it for me... that day in Rome..." she said. She turned and ran to Cole, falling into into his strong arms. "Cole, I... how can I th... Cole..." She then leaned in and kissed his deeply, passionately. She then broke it. "I love you so much."COLE THEODORE NOTT

Katrina's reaction to the painting was everything that Cole had hoped that it would be. She loved it. And she loved him by comparison. That, however, was just an added perk. He hadn't bought her the painting to make her love him. He had bought the painting because it was what had made him love her. That day in the shop, when he saw her looking and awing at the painting, he knew that he would always love her. That he always wanted to be there for her. And that he would never leave her to wait for him like the woman in the painting. He wanted to be her light house. He knew that she definitely was his.
He held her close when she came back to him and kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her waist and looking down at her. "You have no idea how hard it's been to hide and keep so nice." He admitted with a smirk. "The things I do for you." He teased and kissed her head, hugging her to him again. "I love you too, Katrina." he admitted with a content sigh. This feeling had been what he was waiting his whole life for. And it was everything he thought it would be. And more.

Katrina looked back and forth between the painting and Cole. She could hardly believed she owned it now. "Well you did a really great job keeping it from me," she said. "And just think of what all I'm going to do for you in return." Oh yeah, Katrina was going to spoil him for this, and like him, she had the galleons to do so, especially with how well the museum was going. She smiled when Cole said he loved her. He was her soul mate, meant for him. She now knew she had spent so many years not knowing this type of love because there was no one that be for her but him. "Hmmm, where to start?" she said. "Well... how about once we get done, we go somewhere nice... on me. And no, you can't argue. You just made me the happiest witch in the world, and the least I can do is buy you a great meal."COLE THEODORE NOTT

Cole knew that she was going to love the surprise, but her expressing her gratitude and appreciation made him even more happy. "Some home cooked meals I'm hoping." He admitted with a smirk. He had attempted to cook, but the furthest he had successfully gotten was learning how to not burn Pasta and then how to add the perfect amount of sauce and meat to it. Needless to say, he ate out a lot. He never believe the idea that he wouldn't be able to cook for himself, until he learned that he was rubbish at it. Of course, he was tempted to argue over who was going to pay for dinner, but he realized that it was probably no use. There was no talking Katrina out of anything once she had her mind to something. "Though a nice dinner out does sound perfect." He agreed. He hadn't dressed up since her museum opening, and while that hadn't been very long ago, the young man actually liked wearing a suit and dressing nicely. "Where do we even begin, though?" He looked around at all of the boxes.

Kat shrugged and nodded about the homecooked meals. "Mum taught me pretty well on how to do those," she said. "So I'll try to whip something up for you soon."
Kat smiled about going out to dinner. She was thinking the Golden Veela would be nice. It was fancy, but again she had the money for it. "You order anything you want," she said, "No holding back." She then smirked when Cole seemed to worry about the unpacking. She cleared her throat playfully as she pulled out her wand. "Did somebody forget that he's a wizard and his girlfriend is a witch?" she said. "We can get this done in no time. I mean- hey- I just went through seven years of learning how to do magic. Might as well make some use of it." She the aimed her wand at her luggage and uttered a spell, watching as the luggage began to unpack itself, and its contents finding their proper place.
