At first, Anya wasn’t quite sure what to do with herself once she had graduated. She hadn’t seen any of her friends since graduation and wasn’t even sure what any of them were doing. Though, Anya didn’t have many friends. She did however, have Hank. Her wonderful little squirrel. She had met him during her seventh year at Hogwarts and had taken to him instantly. He had been an outcast of the Animal world, much as she had been an outcast of the wizard world. No, she wasn’t really an outcast. But she was weird. She had been called it by everyone around her. Even her family knew she was strange. Anya had an affinity for Animals, and while this fact alone wasn’t weird, the way she conducted herself because of it, was. She spent every second with Hank and even fed him real food and let him sleep in her bed. She had tried to build him a bed at her house (she was staying with her parents until she was able to find a flat) but he had snuck back into her bed in the middle of the night anyway. It was pointless to continue to try.
Anya had spent the first month of her summer training for her job. It wasn’t hard, though. Mostly, it was a lot of classes about what each animal was and where each could be found. Anya was a field worker, meaning she went to these various locations around the world to track and observe whatever exotic animal lived there. Anya was currently on her first assignment, she was sent to Scotland to track Kelpies that had made their home in Loch Ness. Anya liked Kelpies, though, they were tricky beings and she would have to be on her guard the whole time. With Hank on her shoulder, hanging onto her collar, she checked into a hotel, got cleaned up and then walked out with her furry friend to the Loch with her notebook in hand for observation.

Once he had graduated all he had been doing was training for the upcoming matches he woudl soon have. Most of the students that graduated when on some trip with the school or had family vacations. Alexander didn't have that as his mother was full vampire and his father was half. They wouldn't risk having her go anywhere so they never went anywhere as a family. Alexander was okay with that. He was okay with spending time with his family at home. He loves his mother and would do anything for her. Alexander lately though spent most of his time on the quidditch pitch since he got signed by a professional quidditch team and he kept running around just trying to keep in shape until the team started practicing together. Alexander had went on a little mini vacation by himself to relax and train a little. He was running around when he saw someone who had been in the same year at Hogwarts. He rememebered that she had been in Hufflepuff. He had been in Slytherin but he wasn't like some of the other Slytherins. He was actually much nicer than some Slytherin's were. He hadn't talked to her much at the school but that was because he was mostly on the quidditch pitch. He went over to her and said hey there.

Anya hadn’t been expecting anyone to come along. Really, she hadn’t. She wasn’t in the most populous place around the Loch and she had expected to be quite alone with Hank and any Kelpies that she was able to spot and track. She knew that muggles lived amongst the Loch and thus, she needed to be careful to keep the Kelpies out of sight from any of them. The department she worked for wanted to move them to a secure location, but they had no idea how many of them there were. That was Anya’s job to find out.
"Hi." she said to the man anyway with her friendly Anya smile. Anya was friendly, to everyone. Yet another reason that everyone called her weird. Even those she didn’t like as much as everyone else, she was still nice to. They all thought she was fake;, of course. But she wasn’t. She was just Anya. Hank, however, was less welcoming of the man. Hank was territorial and protective of Anya and though he was small and lazy, when it came to his human, his little, furry paws turned into fists. "Sorry about him... He’s... Over eager." Anya insisted as Hank nearly fell off of her shoulder. She caught him and held him in her one hand. She used to be able to hold him like this without a problem, but thanks to her spoiling him on human food, he had gotten round and it was harder to hold him as such.
