Allen limped through the offices of the Ministry. The old auror giving a harumph to every person who passed him, he didn't have any patience for the faces of those who would pity the old man. He'd been in that office for eight decades, and if he had his way it'd be another eight before he went, and it'd be kicking and hollering. So despite the fact that he had to conjure a cane for use that day, and rely on it, though not too heavily, to make his way through the offices so he would be able to drop off paperwork. Every position in the Ministry seemed to have a lot of that, paperwork. So many hours of what seemed to be unnecessary red tape to traverse, and just to do a job which could be likened to police work, he supposed it made sense that there would be SOME clerical work to be done, but these days it seemed like there had been even more and more compared to two or three decades before. Dropping a small stack of files which had been completed the night before into an inbox as he passed the Secretary, Allen gave the young lady behind the desk hardly any time to greet him before making his way to the small office which Clarke had managed to earn for himself during his time at the Ministry. Taking a seat behind his deck, the old man let out a sigh as he set aside the cane, and withdrew an issue of the daily prophet, opening it to the funny pages section, and began to read the small cartoon strips outlined within.

For the first time in forever Isabelle forget something in her life at the office. She just had a double shift of training, and this time she forget something important. Belle had a necklace from her mother, one she didn't see so much anymore. Normally she doesn't put it off, but this time she did and she forget it. So as quickly as she could, she headed to the Ministry of Magic again. Greeting the old man named James that was standing there. James was a great guy, probably grandfather and knowing to have some enjoying in his life and in his work. She however felt in love with Tanner Weasley. Not many knew of that as she tried to hide it so much. How could a trainee and auror fall in love. That wasn't good and she didn't want anything to happen to him. While entering the Auror office, she saw it was pretty much empty. Not many were here, or rather non. They probably have a missionShe thought, as she looked at the desk. There the necklace was, as she grabbed it. It was then that she saw in the office, the elderly man, and probably the oldest Auror in the business. He looked he had so much on his mind, but also feeling sad. Walking with a cane. She knew his name by Allen Clarke. She sighed as she headed over to the office, knocking on the office door as she entered it. "Hello Mr. Clarke, is everything okay? She asked as she hoped it was.

(Dat wall of text tho) Allen scanned through the funny pages, chuckling lightly to himself at the adventures of wizard Garfield. "That cat..." He muttered to himself as he flipped another page, moments before he heard the light knocking, lowering the page the old man muttered to himself, "revalio" at which point the glass of his office door which was treated using a muggle technique to prevent being seen through became transparent on his end. It revealed a young lady who he remembered being in one of his lectures for the training program recently. Didn't it have something to do with slaying a Basilisk if you lacked any magical swords, or something to that nature?
Clarke quickly shook himself of the silent musings, saying the counter-incantation to the spell he'd previously cast, and called, "Come in miss!" The old auror called, removing the boots from his desk and taking a more proper seating behind it. Folding the paper and stashing it underneath the top so that it appeared as if he'd been handling additional paperwork that had been strategically sprawled across the surface of his work-space, Allen folded his hands and waited patiently for the girl to arrive.
Upon entry Allen nodded to the young woman, "Miss..... Er.... Norwood, is it?" Pretending as if he were guessing, but in reality a small piece of paper with a sticking charm cast upon it to the back wall which had identified the girl upon passing its threshold. "Do have a seat, you have something you wish to talk about?" This latter assumption being made on the fact that she A. came to his office to approach him, and B. people didn't typically walk to up the old man's door and knock without wanting to talk about something... Well, except for his grandchildren, but he adored when they came to visit.

Isabelle gave a smile to the loveable old man that was sitting in front of her. It was not normal for her to just go around and talk to every Auror but this old man had something inside of him that was giving her the feels that nothing could stop age but yet stop life. She gave a smile as she looked at him. "Yes you are correct Mr. Clarke."She said as she looked at the elderly male. She remembered the class he taught. It was something about slaying a Basilisk with nothing else then a magical item. While Basilisks were hard and not so common, it was always nice to know what to do about them and this elderly man knew his subjects very much. He then heard the voice of the elderly man again as she looked up. "Well I just had my shift, and I forget something... and everyone is gone except for you. I was just wandering if everything is okay?"She asked as she looked at her. She was stupid, she had thoughts and fell in love for a auror, but she never knew how people would react to that. Especially the head auror or one of the other aurors. All she just wanted to do was to not show that affection. She took a seat as she looked at the elderly man. "I.... I just have something else on my mind, but it is not a normal subject to throw it around here. As in with the aurors, or probably to discuss it with you sir."She said hesitating to tell. "I am sorry that I wasted your time."She said as she stood up, wanting to walk away to the door. ALLEN PETER CLARKE
