As he continued, she knew she'd might as well tell him. He seemed to be someone she could share inner secrets too. "I kind of have a dark magic fetish, if you will.." she looked away from him. "I enjoy studying Vol... the dark lord.. and something about his followers." She wasn't sure if this was safe, but she felt safe to talk about it around him. "I kind of imagine what it would be like to be on that side.. you know? That... power..." she had a slight look of hunger in her eyes. "Being able to cast magic without a restraint..." her words seemed deeply enthused, but she pulled herself out of that dark place, "Err, sorry.. I get kind of... locked onto it when I think about it."

He definitely didn't look like the type of person to be interested in playing music at all, "I was just saying.." She giggled. "So, you enjoy running around for your father?" She was curious. That didn't seem like fun, and from what she's heard, his father isn't that nice of a person. "I mean... would you rather be doing something else?"

When he reiterated his class list, she remembered hers being extremely similar, "We just might have every class together!" she grinned and thought about it for a minute, "Though, I'm also in Choir and Herbology." she was happy. He made that way. She wasn't very accessible by people she liked, but he fixed that.

Zach was interested to hear about her views on dark magic. She had potential, he thought. She was just looking into it, but that was enough to work on. "I know what you mean. The idea of that sort of power is quite alluring," he agreed non-committally.

When she asked about him running around for his father, he shrugged. "It's fine. It's good experience and I get paid. And it's not unenjoyable," he replied. It was generally easy work... and when it was harder, it was good training for him as well.

Zach smirked at her... it seemed she had forgotten one small detail about them being in classes together. "You remember we're in different years, right?" he asked her, amused by her slip of the mind.

Her eyes fluttered. She felt something she hadn't felt before, but she let it pass. She knew what it was. His bad boy allure was enticing her. She cancelled the feelings and decided to exit the dark magic conversation, for now. She smiled plainly. "Well that's good. I mean, that you don't hate it." She smiled playfully. He was cute, and she was trying hard not to express anything toward him. Though, that did not prevail.

When he pointed out her forgetfulness, she blushed slightly. "Oh duh, you're going to be a seventh year! That's right!" she teased the end of her hair, "Well still, we can see each other in the common room! Maybe hang out more this summer?" she was curious. She had finished finding all she needed. "I'm alll set!"

When she said it was good that he didn't hate it, he smiled a little and nodded. It was clear enough that they weren't going to keep talking about that, though. He noticed the way she was smiling at him, though, and was glad that she looked at him that way - maybe he could use it to help her along the path from being interested in dark magic to potentially joining the BA.

He couldn't help but laugh a little as she realised her mistake. "Yeah, sure, we'll see each other around. You're welcome to come over to my place sometime before the summer ends if you'd like," he offered. "That is, unless you're too busy with your Uke," he added with a slight smirk.

She was happy there was no dark magic continuance. It was clear to her that he also enjoyed darker things, why else would he ask? His smile put a little twinkle in her eye. She blushed slightly and started walking out of the store. "Thanks." she said plainly. She was happy he was there. Normally, she would kill someone just for asking, assumed that person was someone who only wanted to be her friend. He was different, he had a way of making her feel comfortable. She didn't know what it was, but in any case she was happy.

She took a glance at the sky, "Well, it is only just after noon." She looked for the clock in the store before exiting. "Okay, so it's almost four, but still. We have the rest of the day." She smiled pulling the door open, "After you m'lady." she said in a stuffy old fashioned man accent. Though, she couldn't hold a straight face. She busted a laugh and sneaked through the door first. "We could still do something?"

At her suggestion, he shrugged and nodded. "Sure. I mean, now that we're done getting the books and stuff, that's all we need to do here, right? I can apparate back to my place, we can do side-along apparition if you're okay with that," he suggested, knowing that she hadn't learned how to apparate yet as they did that in their sixth year.

She smiled. "Well yeah, that would be fun. I've ridden along a few times." She was a bit nervous, but most times everything went okay. What made her nervous most was that it wouldn't be Nick aparating the two of them. She knew she'd have to touch him, now.. His hand. Noel always let her hug him so she wasn't scared. Of course, she has grown up a bit. "W...Would you mind if I hugged you?" she muttered. She didn't know what else to say. She wanted to hug him. She would feel safer that way. Plus, it made perfect excuse to get closer to him without making things awkward. It was normal, right?

When she asked if she could hug him, Zach smirked a bit. Of course she wanted to. "Sure, go for it," he said, wondering briefly what Maggie would think but then passing off that thought. He was trying not to think about that girl. "Alright, ready?" he asked Renee as he put an arm around her to help calm her. She seemed a bit nervous.

She giggled as his arm went around her, though tried to keep her cool and her nerves. She barely knew him, and was being swept away by what? His ass-hole facade? That just didn't seem right to her. She shrugged it off in her head, "Ready as I'll ever be." she said sweetly. A bunch of things ran through her head in this moment. She was scared and that was a natural thing for her. Whenever she got scared, everything came through her head. Her recent conversations, people met, and then some. "Let's do this." she nodded.

With her assent, he apparated them both to the front yard of their house, before checking that she was still there and all ok. Yep, everything was fine. "You all good?" he asked, trying to make sure that she was steady and not going to throw up or something after apparating. He hadn't expected to have her coming to his house, it was an interesting development.

She smiled innocently before they swooshed into a puff of smoke. When they reappeared, her face was in his shoulder and her arms were even tighter. She heard his voice and could feel ground beneath her feet. She knew they were safe, and she pulled her face away from his shoulder. "I'm good.. Thanks." she giggled and looked at his lips for a moment. She blushed when she realized she still had a hold of him, "Oh.. S-sorry." She was half hoping he'd grab her and kiss her, but she knew that wouldn't be happened. She pulled her arms away from him with a continual smile and red cheeks.

He was glad that she wasn't going to throw up or something. That was good. "Cool. Well, let's go inside, yeah?" he suggested as he walked up to the front door and unlocked it, walking through first and then holding it open for her. "So this is Casa del Rosier," he replied, smirking a little. It was a big mansion, with many rooms.

As she looked away from him and to his home, her eyes grew. The house was huge! Of course, her own family home was quite large, but nothing like this. "Is it just you and your dad?" She knew a little, but she didn't know much. She didn't recall if he had siblings or not. As they walked inside, she felt a slight chill. Almost, cold, but more like she was walking into a dark aura. "Thank you." she spoke sweetly and unfaltered. "This is.. impressive"

He shook his head when she asked if it was just him and his father. "No. There's also my mother, and also a younger brother and sister, Iain and Cassie." He wasn't sure if Iain and Cassie were around at the moment, though. The house seemed pretty empty to him right now. "I'm actually not sure who's home at the moment. Maybe we've got the house to ourselves," he said, sounding surprised. Usually there was someone around, but it was very quiet right now.

When she said it was impressive, he nodded. "Thanks. I like it here, there's plenty of space." And it felt powerful, and he liked that.

She nodded slowly, "I had absolutely no idea you had siblings... But now that you mention it, I think I've met Iain once.. or twice." she spoke, questioningly. She didn't remember too well, but the name sounded familiar. She could feel something... Like this play was off in some way. She didn't know what it was but she was as happy as ever. Zach was cute. "Alone, hmm?" she said, curiously. "And what does that mean, exactly?"
