The Usual Christmas Chaos (Angelina/Invite-Freddie/Roxy)

In his family's home above the shop, George, clad in a cheesy Christmas sweater and Father Christmas hat, poured himself a cup of cocoa and looked about.

"No marshmallows? No whipped cream? No chocolate sprinkles?" he said. "How the bloody hell does the Misses expect me to make a proper cup of cocoa?" He was joking of course, as he always was. He loved Angelina's cocoa. He loved everything abut his wife after all the years. And after all the dark happenings that had gone on that year, he was so grateful that they could spend another Christmas together, along with Freddie and Roxy of course. As goofy as George acted around them, there was no doubt how much he cared for his family.

He then looked over at Jester and the cat stared back at him.

"You haven't hid all that, have you?" he asked. The cat meowed at him. "Well that's not much of an answer." She smirked and pet his cat before sipping his cocoa and heading toward the living room.

Angelina was in she and George's bedroom finishing up some last minute gift wrapping when she heard George talking in the other room. She tapped the last gift with her wand and it finished wrapping itself as she walked out into the living area and then to the kitchen. She watched and listened quietly as George jokingly complained about not having marshmellows, whipped cream or chocolate sprinkles. She was about to say something when he asked the cat if she had hidden any of the cocoa toppings.

She chuckled, "Poor cat getting the blame for the marshmallows going missin." she said as she walked over to the two and pet the cat briefly before kneeling down and opening a cupboard producing some marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles. "Here you are love." she said. "Under your nose the whole time." she said playfully.

George stood and watched as his wife revealed the mystery of the missing cocoa toppings. He pointed to Jester and shook his finger.

"You got off easy this time," he said. He then turned to his wife, placed his other arm around her waist and kissed her. "You're wonderful though, you know that, and oddly enough not just because you found the toppings." This was George's silly way to telling Angelina that she was the world's best wife. "Happy Christmas, Angelina."

He then placed down his cocoa and removed a box from his pants pocket.

"It's a bit early, but I figure if I'm going to spoil you and the kids as usual, I may as well start now." The box held a ring that was gold with a red ruby, the colors of Gryffindor. It was of course through being in Gryffindor House that he met his amazing wife. "You do know you owe me the price of another kiss for giving you this. I'm a businessman or so they tell me, so I have to drive a hard bargain."

Angelina chuckled when George told the cat she was getting off easy this time. She returned his kiss and then smiled when he said she was wonderful, and not just because she found the toppings. "Happy Christmas love." she said. "And you are wonderful, silly and wonderful." she joked.

She looked down to see him produce a box from his pants pocket and smiled. "You really do spoil me." she said. He told her that he was a businessman and the price for the gift is another kiss. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a deeper kiss, before stepping back and accepting the box from him. She opened it and her eyes lit up. "It's beautiful George!" she said. She took it out and held it up to him. "Put it on?" she asked him with a smile.

George shrugged about being silly and wonderful.

"Well I have to be both," he said. "I don't think I would have married the most beautiful woman in the world otherwise." George could be silly, and he could also be very sweet.

After kissing Angelina again, he smirked as she said "put it on?"

"Well I don't know about that," he said. "I don't think it would look all that nice on my hand, and would probably be stuck on my finger. Perhaps you should put it on instead." George knew what Angelina meant, but he couldn't help himself. He never could help himself.

Once Angelina was to place the ring on, George took her and picked her up before heading to the living room couch. He then gave her a sly look.

"The kids aren't here yet," he said. "And as I recall, there was a bit of mistletoe near the sofa."

Angelina smiled when he said he had to be both, or he didn't think he would have married the most beautiful woman in the world. She chuckled. "You're also sweet." she said.

She laughed when he said that he could not put the ring on because it would not fit him. She should have known he would say that. "Well if you're sure you do not wish to wear it." she joked.

Suddenly she felt herself being picked up and before long they were sititng on the couch. "Mistletoe near the sofa hmm?" she said looking up for a second and then back to George. "I think I quite enjoy that idea." she said with a smile before putting her arms around his neck and kissing him again.

Roxy loved the holidays, mostly because she was alot St.Mungos and her family this way. She contemplated inviting Kyle over for Christmas but she figured it was too soon, they had only been dating for a couple of months. Like her friend Nina she was frequently commenting on the yumminess of her boyfriend. She was going to convince her parents to let her out for a few hours when she heard...quietness.

Throwing on a sweater she went downstairs and turned towards the living, she would only take an hour give Kyle his Christmas present and then head back home and get some of her moms famous hot cocoa. Walking around the corner she froze with her eyes wide in horror.

"Merlin's Tits...gross young impressionable minds are present, ew ew ew ew, oh gosh im scared for life. She said with her eyes closed as she covered them. This had to be some kind of prank "I mean i know how I got here but Merlin, I dont to see it"

As awkward as it was seeing her parents PDA she was only messing with them, plus it was a great away to get her dad back for that time he embarrassed her when she was hanging out with him.

George loved how Angelina put up with his humor. He was glad Freddie helped balance things out by being more like Angelina while Roxy was "George Part Two". He smirked when she agreed with the idea to have a bit of marital making out on the couch.

"Well here we go then," he said. He then stopped when Roxy walked in and gave her verbal reaction. He knew Roxy was being Roxy, but also decided it wasn't the best idea to proceed with the make out session. It was Christmas and a family night as well. The kissing would be postponed for a few hours.

"Perfect timing as always, Roxy," he said, carefully putting his wife back down. "We were just making cocoa... and before you say anything, no that's not what they're calling it these days."

He then smiled and embraced his daughter.

"Happy Christmas, Roxy," he said. "Any demented ideas for tonight's activities? I had some in mind, but your mum got me thinking of other things." He knew that last part was going to get a reaction from his daughter.

Freddie was off seeing some friends from school before Christmas. Exchanging a few presents that always mad the holiday a pleasant day. You couldn't be mad when you got presents. There he had shared a nice meal with his friends and enjoyed some strong holiday drinks. It was Christmas, a time to spend with family and friends. Sometimes though when you were from a large family such as the Weasley's you did not have the opportune to always enjoy family time. Holidays were packed full of people that he loved dearly but sometimes it was too full.

Freddie still lived at home. It was cheaper and much easier to live with his parents. One day, maybe not too long, he would move out but until then, spending the time with his parents and sister on this holiday was going to be enjoyable. The best part about coming home was he had to make his way through his father's joke shop before he could make it up into the home. Sometimes Freddie honestly worried that his father set things up to go off in his shop, or at least it used to worry his father when he was home from Hogwarts for the summers and he would sneak out to spend time with his friends. Freddie was a good kid but every teenager has a life outside of the home.

He opened the door and immediately heard Roxy speaking about their parents kissing. ”Merlin's Tits... gross young impressionable minds are presents, ew ew ew ew, oh gosh I'm scared for life.” Freddie chuckled as he made his presence known. He closed the door behind him. ”It's called a room,” he told his parents with a grin. He'd heard his father tell his sister that they were making cocoa. Well that and a little kissing.

Freddie pretended to plug his ears when his father spoke of what his mother made his father think about. ”Two of your children are here, neither of us want to hear what Mum got you thinking of,” he said. He made his way to make himself his own hot cocoa and added a bit of peppermint liquor to it to enjoy the cocoa with a kick. He then took a seat with his family. This holiday was his first since graduating from Hogwarts. It was strange not coming home on the train but only to go back to the school a few weeks later. Now though while Roxy was here for the holidays they would spend as much family time as they could.

Angelina chuckled at her daughter's disgust in walking in on them kissing. She laughed again when George told her that they were only making cocoa and that that was not what they were calling making out these days. She got up off the couch and walked over to her daughter giving her a hug. "Good morning and Happy Christmas." she said. "It is our jobs as your loving parents to scar you for life by being madly in love and affectionate." she joked with a smile.

She smiled and winked at her husband when he said she had put other thoughts into his mind from the night's activities. "Don't scarr the poor girl that much." she joked. Hearing her son's voice she smiled and walked over to him to give him a hug. "Happy Christmas." she said with a smile. She turned to George. "It's Christmas love, maybe we should give them a little break." she joked with a smile referring to picking on them.

Roxy rolled her eyes as her parents came to give her hugs, so much for stepping out really quick. "Well, I should hope so, I'd rather not have hot chocolate ruined for ever" She said snorting as she hugged her father, she was glad her parent's were still goofy people in love. It made things easier to deal with, she had a loving family. "Ill remember that when im older and have kids, ill tell em to blame you two" She said laughing as she hugged her mom and grabbed a cup of hot cocoa.

"Happy Christmas Freddini and you forgot to mention the silencing charms, oh and the fact that I enjoy being the youngest" She said smirking as she sipped her chocolate and reached up to ruffle her big brothers hair. She herself had decided to straighten her always curly hair this year, she felt it made her seem older.

"Anyways, lets get this show on a roll, so a movie or a game? Before supper I have to step out for like an hour...to deliver a present" she said not wanting to mention Kyle but also wanting to get the conversation away from snogging and such.

George smirked at his son and daughter's reactions, and then nodded when Angelina said he should give them a little break.

"I suppose you're right," he said. "I don't really blame them for acting that way after all. I mean, all the times Fred and I walked in on their grandparents snogging. I'm still a bit daff in the head to this day because of those times."

George then played dad when Roxy said she was going out for an hour. It wasn't that he didn't allow her to go about as she pleased because he did trust her, but he was a father and therefore curious

"Who are you delivering the present to?" he asked. "Anyone we know, and are they expecting something from the rest of us? I hope not because I thought I covered everyone. I even bought old Grimp a new pipe."

George then eyed the family's magical projector since Roxy suggested a movie. It was amazing what wizards had invented to mimic Muggle technology. He looked at Freddie.

"Want to give me a hand if you're still not a bit ill from walking in on your mum and I?" he asked his son.

”Happy Christmas!” Freddie replied with a large happy smile. He looked over and watched as his sister made her hot cocoa and give her mother a hug before the hug came to him. He wrapped his arms around him mother and hugged her gently. He chuckled as his sister made sure to say happy Christmas as well and of course she used the nickname she'd always had. Freddini, it worked, he did know how to slip out of things better than a lot of other people. There were times when he knew very well how to sneak out of places. He was probably more of a ghost than anything else though. She had also made sure to mention silencing charms. ”I think we'll be the one casting those,” he said as she ruffled his hair a bit, ”or at least it will be me, you're not quite there yet.”

Roxy mentioned having to drop a present off to someone but she conveniently let all the information stay deep within her. His brown eyes raised and looked at her carefully. His father beat him to the punch though. 'Who are you delivering the present to? Anyone we know, and are they expecting something from the rest of us? I hope not because I thought I covered everyone. I even bought old Grimp a new pipe.” ”I bet Grimp was happy about that one,” Freddie joked and then turned his attention more to his sister. ”So who's the boy?” he asked. Intentionally leaving out information about who you were going to go see usually meant that you were hiding that person, it also meant that the person must be a boy. He grinned wide and stuck his tongue out at his sister hoping his sister would get a little irritated at his poke.

But the suggestion of a movie made his father get the projector working. ”I don't understand why we don't just purchase a muggle television with a movie player,” he said with a chuckle. He had some friends who were muggleborn and they were interesting items. He knew that this projector though did everything it needed to do. ”But yes I'll give you a hand, and I luckily got to miss all the kissing,” he told his father. He walked over and set down the strong hot cocoa and lifted the projector to help turn it on and get it into position.

”Oi Dad, I've got a Christmas present for you, we've made enough money this year to open another store and support it, I've found a location that'd be good in Hogsmeade if you're interested in going to look at it,” Freddie mentioned to his father. He'd been waiting to share it with his dad until he absolutely sure about it all.

Angelina chuckled when Roxy told them that when she had kids she would blame it on them when she acted the same way. "That's all we could hope for." she joked. "It's an honor to be the culprits in scarring the generations to come." she said with a smile.

She listened as Roxy asked for permission to go out for an hour and George and Freddie both started asking her about where she was going, Freddie specifically asking her if it was a boy she planned to go see. She smiled and turned to her daughter. "Does my little girl have a boyfriend?" she said playfully. "Is he a cute?" she asked her, actually picking on her just a bit.

She smiled hearing Freddie ask why they didn't just get a muggle tv. Clearly he inherited some of his grandfather's interest in muggle objects. "You sound like your Grandfather." she said telling him out loud what she was thinking with a smile.

Roxy turned a glare to her brother at the mention of a boy. She wasnt exactly trying to keepn low key, she just didn't want it to be a big deal. "His name is Kyle, remember that boy I was talking to and the banshee in the box fiasco. Nope he's not expecting and yes he's my boyfriend...he just made offical healer a few months ago. She smirked at her brother letting him know there would be revenge, just wait until she got Nessa on her side.

"In the words of my friend Nina...hes Yummy" She said with an innocent smile on her face, knowing she'd get a reaction from her brother at the least, served them right. She snorted as her brother set up the projector "Hey it gives me an excuse to bothee you, you gonna work there fredini?" She asked her brother, she was going to let it slip to Nessa if he was. She was totally excited about playing match maker again...she had hooked nina up.
