Alietta Krum nearly fell over onto her friend laughing when she allowed her -somewhat- evil plan to unfold. Ali had to admit, she had never seen Cole Nott shirtless, nor did she really want to, but she could imagine, based on the muscle in his arms and such, that it wouldn't be a painful sight to behold. She had never seen Chaunce shirtless either, and with the visual of Cole that way now in her mind, Ali began to wonder, "Do you suppose Chaunce Lloyd would look good shirtless?" Ali asked her friend. She knew Katrina had seen the young man around last year before he graduated. Ali had spent quite a lot of time with him and was beginning to miss him.
When Katrina asked her to come to the museums opening party, Ali smiled and said, "Of course I'll come." Ali had gone to her mothers funeral as well and if asked, Ali would have even bugged her parents enough to let Katrina stay with them for a while, but she had other arrangements, and that was just fine with Ali. "I'll have to bring a date won't I?" Ali mused, "Who ever will I ask?" She smirked.

Kat raised an eyebrow when Ali asked if Chaunce would look good shirtless. She decided to go with the safe answer there. "That's all you, Ali," she said. "He's your guy... friend... something..." Kat then couldn't help but laugh as well over the whole subject of discussing shirtless guys. Ahhhh firewhiskey. It was truly a magical potion. Kat smiled when Ali said that she would attend the museum opening. She was glad to hear it. She wanted that event to be perfect with her man and her best friends there. The effect of the booze was about to get Kat emotional with happiness, but that hint of soberness still in her hit her and she refrained from acting such a way. "I'm really glad you can come," she said. "Who knows, I might have a great big painting of Cole without his shirt on for you to see!" She then fell over laughing, fortunately not messing up her sketch. ALIETTA MARIE KRUM

Honestly, Ali would have been okay with talking about guys shirtless even if she wasn't under the influence of one of her favorite drinks. Ali had always been a flirt. Well, she supposed not always since she had sort of changed drastically over the last year. While her old idea of fun used to be going to a pub with some friends and dancing the night away with a handsome man to her side: she was now completely alright with just staying home and taking care of her dragon in the forest if she could get away. She could hardly believe that she had changed so much. She who used to love who she was and what she did. She was almost domestic now. How could she let that happen? "I have no idea either." Ali admitted with a shrug when Kat had no clue what to call Chaunce, but she didn't really want to get into it. When Katrina mentioned that she might be painting Cole Nott shirtless, while Ali knew it was a joke. She shook her head anyway. "I'm not so sure that I actually want to see that. Or how Thalia would feel about that. His parents would die!" She laughed.

Kat shrugged about what Ali could call Chaunce. "Meh, who says you have to call him anything?" she said. "I mean, Cole's my boyfriend, but I don't go pointing at him and yelling, 'Look there's my boyfriend over there! Yep, that's what he is, my big ole boyfriend... great big ole... handsome boyfriend.' Nah, he's just my Cole and that's what I call him. So let's just call him 'Your Chaunce'."
Kat then chuckled about the painting of Cole. "No worries, just joking," she said. "Besides you think I want a bunch of women gawking at a picture of the guy I love?" Kat chuckled, then laughed harder. "But yeah... his mum and dad would flip."Kat loved being around Ali because she could be like this- laid back, having fun. She loved Ali for that and many other things. She finished the sketch and turned it to show Ali. Despite Kat's joking about how Ali should pose, the picture turned out quite lovely as showed her friend for the beautiful, amazing person she was. "You like it?" she asked. ALIETTA MARIE KRUM

Ali sighed, "But if I don't know what we are, then I don't know what to say to other guys who ask me out." she admitted. So far, no one had asked her out whom she had been interested in. But what if someone did. What if she bumped into a handsome guy who she connected with and he asked her to get a drink. What was she allowed to do? She had absolutely no idea if she and Chaunce were exclusive. And she didn't want to hurt him by accepting another mans theoretical offer. Ali smiled when Katrina showed her the drawing. Kat had always been a good artist. Ali couldn't draw a straight line most of the time (and not only due to intoxication). "It's impressive." She nodded.
((Running out of muse... end this one too?))

(Okie Dokie. Gonna end it with cuteness.) Kat shrugged about what to do about the Chaunce situation. "Wish I could help more," she said. "I say sit down with him and talk it out. See how you both feel and where you both want to go with yourselves. I mean, good or bad at least you'll both know."Kat smiled when Ali complimented her work. She carefully removed the page and handed it to her friend. "All yours," she said. Epilogue... A good bit of firewhiskey later, and Kat decided to make her way upstairs to sleep it off. She hugged Ali and told her friend how much she loved her. Though Kat usually didn't say that to anyone other than Cole, she did mean it. Ali had been one of those who had changed her life, and she was forever grateful. She hoped she would see the girl often after graduation. Friends like Ali Krum didn't come everyday.
