The 67th Seal is an AU Supernatural site taking place between seasons 4 and 5. We are a relaxed, no word count site. All writing and experience levels are welcome. Although we won't be following the show's story directly, characters and elements from later seasons will be incorporated as needed. Non-canon species are allowed on a case by case basis. There are a lot of available canons. Original characters are welcome.
Over the last few months the demon Lilith has been attempting to free Lucifer from Hell by opening 66 seals. Out of the hundreds of seals, she only needed 66 of them to unlock the devil's cage. Believing the key to preventing Lucifer's rise was killing Lilith, the hunter Sam Winchester formed a shaky alliance with a demon named Ruby. Sam's brother Dean was guided by the angel Castiel. As Sam and Ruby prepared for a final showdown with Lilith, Castiel and Dean learned that Lilith herself was the 66th seal. Killing her would release Lucifer.
In our story, Dean's attempt to stop Sam and Ruby from killing Lilith was successful. Ruby claimed she had no idea Lilith was the final seal and Sam, though suspicious, opted not to kill her, much to Dean's disappointment. Lilith escaped and is searching for another way to bust Lucifer out of Hell - plan B, if you will...
