Sarah screamed when Thomas picked her up. She flailed her legs a little but grabbed onto his hands with her own, half in an attempt to pry them apart and free herself, and the other half was to make sure that she was supporting herself in some way and wouldn’t fall flat on the ground, because, knowing herself, she would fall on her butt, and the last thing she needed was a bruise before work. “Thomas! Let me go!” she squealed and tried to wipe the yoke on her cheek off on his arm, but with very little luck. Sarah had always felt comfortable with Thomas. The two had been best friends for a very long time. They were close in every way, though, she was sure that if her neighbors had heard her, they would swear that she was being attacked and probably call someone to check in on her. They were in an all wizard building, though, so, strange noises were normal.

Thomas laughed as she tried to get free, and he continued to hold on to her for a while to restrain her so she couldn't get any more food on him. He grinned and eventually let her go, backing away a couple of steps to be ready in case she tried to retaliate at him. "You know, people would almost think we're trying to make each other into cakes, rather than make one together," he commented with a smirk as he looked at her and then looked over himself - they were both a bit covered in egg and flour, and looked a bit ridiculous. It was a lot of fun, though.

She couldn’t help but continue to laugh once he finally let her go. She was ready to call a truce, she was sure, and she hoped that he was too because her stomach hurt too much (from laughing) to fight back and she didn’t want to be overpowered. “Okay. Okay. I call a truce.” She admitted with a smile once she was finally able to breathe again. “We’ve made a mess of the kitchen that Maddy and I just cleaned.” She sighed a little and looked around them. There was flour and egg yolk on the floor. “Now, you get to really be a house wife and help me clean the kitchen.” She smirked.
((Should we get the Owl that Madison was attacked in this thread?))

When Sarah called a truce, Thomas nodded, while still laughing himself. "We sure have," he said, looking around and smiling. "Should we clean it now? Or save the cleaning until we're done with the cake? Because we'll probably make even more mess while we're making the cake," he pointed out thoughtfully. He didn't mind which way Sarah wanted to do it, it was her kitchen after all. "Plus I'll have you know I'm actually quite good at cleaning," he countered, matching her smirk. He always felt comfortable hanging around with Sarah, it was great.

Sarah wasn't a huge fan of cleaning, but she knew that it, like working, was a part of life and something that she would always just have to grit her teeth and bear. She knew the house wife type spells of course, but they always seemed to be more work than they were worth. "A man who's good at cleaning? A rare sight indeed." Sarah smirked and tossed her friend a towel, getting a wet sponge to whip the counters. "Madison is one of the lucky ones." she added with another soft smile to Thomas. She knows that the two of her best friends had liked each other for a while, and Sarah had been trying to play match maker the whole time. It seemed like her efforts hadn't exactly been a waste. "Hey, have you heard anything of James lately? I haven't seen him more than like once since we got back from Rome." she admitted with a small sigh.

Thomas laughed a little at her comment, it was probably fair enough. A lot of guys tended to be quite messy and to not care about mess that much either. But he tended to try to clean up as he went while he was cooking, as it saved the work later. He took the towel that she threw to him and he dried up the counters after Sarah wiped them down with the wet sponge. "Well, with your baking talent, whoever you end up with is going to be a lucky one, I'd say," he complimented in return. While they continued cleaning, he answered her question. "I went to a couple of his Quidditch matches, he seems to be fitting in pretty well at Puddlemere. He's been pretty busy with matches and training and stuff, though," he explained. "Hey, we should all go to one of his games sometime!" he suggested.

Sarah appreciated that Thomas said that whatever guy she ended up with would be one of the lucky ones as well. It was a nice idea; however, she hadn't had any luck with dating almost at all in the last few years. Her most recent, good relationship had been with Thomas himself, and that was back when they were kids and didn't even really know how a relationship was supposed to go. "I'll have to find someone who can keep up with me first." she teased. She knew she was a handful, but she liked that about herself. And, now that that fact that she was a seer was out, she had less to hide from everyone. Maybe then, now that she was outted to the world, love would be easier to find. "That would be fun. I could use a break from life. I haven't seen a match since school." she admitted. She was a big fan of Quidditch, but she owed that to James himself.
