MOTHER: Victoria Isabella Kennedy
FATHER: Christopher Justinian Kennedy
SIBLINGS: Amelia Kennedy
Justin Kennedy
HISTORY: On December 13, Victoria Kennedy gave birth to her first child, a girl that she named Lana. One year prior to, Lana's birth, Victoria suffered from a miscarriage. Her birth was the best news for Victoria and her husband, Christopher. Lana and her family lived in a beautiful house overlooking a beach in England. Her mother was a muggleborn witch who worked as a healer and her father was a half-blood who was an auror. When summer came around, Lana would always go swimming, and she'd help her mother plant flowers in the garden. Lana's baby sister, Amelia, was born five years after her. She was very protective of her baby sister. Her mom joked that Amelia had a second mother. Two years after Amelia, the youngest Kennedy, Justin was born.
Most of her childhood days were spent daydreaming about becoming someone important. Often she'd tell her father she wanted to become an auror just like him. She read a lot, even as a little girl, and during good weather, one could always find her under the giant Cherry tree in her yard, reading a book, or playing with her siblings on the beach. Her childhood was very quaint, very simple.
She got her acceptance letter the summer after she turned eleven. Both of her parents were very proud of her. Lana had dreamt of attending Hogwarts for the longest time. When she arrived at the castle, she was in awe of how grand it was. Her childhood had been fairly guarded after all. Hogwarts was a bit of a culture shock for her. She was sorted into Gryffindor, but proved to be a near hatstall, with the Sorting Hat conflicted between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
Lana excelled at Hogwarts. She was one of the brightest witches in her year, and was particularly gifted with transfiguration. She had the utmost respect for Professor McGonagall, and enjoyed her classes the most. In her fifth year, she became prefect, and in her seventh year, Head Girl. Most of her days were spent studying in the library. For the most part, she was socially reclusive and preferred to be alone. Upon graduation, she had received high marks on her OWLs and NEWTs.
After Hogwarts, she got an internship at the Ministry. It was there that she met the handsome and charming, Aaron Quinn. She was drawn to him in a way she couldn't describe. Lana had previously had crushes on boys during her giggly school years, but she never truly felt anything stronger than infatuation. They became fast friends and soon he asked her on a date.
They loved each other passionately, fought like they were insane, but always made up. He was her soul mate, and she was his. Both of them were accepted into the Auror training program. During her training, The Second Wizarding World was in full swing. Aaron was a clear supporter of The Order, but Lana tried to remain neutral. It took her too long to finally reach the conclusion that The Dark Lord was thoroughly evil. Her mother, father, and brother were killed in a death eater attack. She was devastated, and wanted revenge. She joined The Order, and did everything she could to help.
She completed her training after the war was finished and became an auror. Aaron asked her to marry him. She accepted. A few years into their marriage, she gave birth to their first daughter, a girl they named Nichole. She was the spitting image of her mother and perfect in every way.
Lana took time off from the ministry to raise her daughter. She proved to be quite the handful, but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle. When her daughter reached the age of six, she went back to work. Her husband was killed soon after she went back. They were on a mission together. Lana was nearly hit by a killing curse, but he got in the way, sacrificing his life for hers. She was devastated to say the least. For months, she was catatonic. Her sister had to come over and look after Nichole. One day, she took a good look at her daughter and realized that she couldn't continue living like this. She went back to work, determined to keep her family safe.
She threw herself into her work. She adapted a "tough, no-nonsense" attitude, especially with her daughter and young recruits. Her husband's murderer was never found, and it has been over ten years. She still hopes he or she will be found, but she knows that it isn't likely.
