There was exactly three people that Camden got along with more often than he didn't. Those three people were his siblings. His parents couldn't even fall under that category. But Camden was the equivalent to an old man stuck in a young man's body. If he only could have to resist the urge to yell at children to get off his lawn. This wasn't how Camden started his life though. He just quickly grew to the point were he was intolerant of most people but put up with a lot of nonsense. In the end he was just a young man who had a hard time connecting with certain people.
The second oldest Harper was happy to be back at school. He was happy to not have to help his sister because she was in trouble for something or another. This holiday was because their parents found out about Lorcan and Rosalie. Honestly Cam would have been quite happy if they had never found out about her fling. She wasn't him, she was going to go through with this wedding. Even if her heart wasn't fully sat upon it. Cam worried that his parents would try to shift this onto him and he was already fighting the urge to tell them to shove it up their arses and leave him alone. Could anyone honestly blame him?
The young man folded up his books in the Slytherin common room after writing down some notes and finishing up some potions homework. Oh that class has become horrible. Caesar Montague was the intern that worked the class. And there wasn't many people that he couldn't stand less than Caesar Montague. He shook his head at the annoyance of a thought. Out of the Slytherin entrance he went on a search for his older sister. Normally it was just the company that he wanted from her. Usually his sister did most of the talking. And it wasn't that he didn't want to talk it was that he preferred to listen.
Camden found himself going up towards the Hufflepuff basement. Maybe just waiting for her down in the corridor he'd be able to actually find her. He'd be able to listen to her talk about whatever was going on. His specialty was keeping hold of information to use at a later time for whatever he needed it for. Unfortunately using information against Rosalie would entail him going off and having to do things for her because she was kept inside the house or not allowed to leave the property. That's why when he found about Lorcan and her he held it in as tight as he could.
Hands carefully slipped into his pockets as he awaited for his older sister to join him.

Someone had told Rosey, while she was lying on one of the seats in the common room trying to do her homework, that there was a creepy Slytherin hanging around outside of the dorms. She had wanted to ask them why they had thought telling her was the right thing to do. After all, it wasn’t as if she could do anything about it. She wasn’t a prefect, and she certainly wasn’t head girl. That position belonged to one of her childhood friends. Still, when she looked around, she found that the majority of the people in the common room had to be fourth years and under. There was a pair of fifth years, but both of them were giving her expectant looks. She hadn’t even realized that Nina wasn’t around, or any of the other sixth years she had gotten to know. The seventh year Hufflepuff sighed loudly and shut her potions book. The class had become more of a hassle than anything else. She was lucky there were few people taking it for N.E.W.Ts and that Thalia and Gisella were both in there. She wasn’t too ashamed to admit that she cowered behind her blonde friend when Caesar was in the classroom.
Sometimes, it made her wonder how Edward felt about it. The eldest Harper hadn’t really asked him about it. She doubted that Caesar knew that Edward knew about every single little thing that had conspired. Honestly, if she were a better sister, she’d try to keep all of this quiet from the already-serious sixth year. It probably wasn’t healthy for him to have her pile up all of her problems on him. But, she had always appreciated that he listened instead of judged her. She had always adored that he treated her thousands of times better than the rest of her family. She wasn’t sure what she would have done if Edward had turned on her as Marius and Sarah had done. They had just gotten to a point where they mocked her sooner than they listened to her. But, Rosalie didn’t mind much. After all, in a couple of months, it wouldn’t be like she would see them every single day. If she were to be perfectly honest, it wasn’t likely that she’d see them every week, either. She’d miss Edward probably more than she’d miss the rest of them.
Even if he no longer called her Rosey like everyone else in the family did, there was always a special place for him. If she and Caesar did, indeed, end up getting their own home, she’d be certain to let him know that there would always be a place for him to stay. If, on the other hand, they stayed in a flat (or she stayed in a flat if he continued on teaching) she’d let him know that their couch would be available. She didn’t doubt that her brother got as sick of their family as she did. It was a wonder he hadn’t blown up in their faces about the wedding. It was likely, although not set, that if she had been bullied into one, that they were going to try the same thing to him. And yet, it wasn’t as if they could disown him. Marius hadn’t been, for lack of a better term, made to be the heir of the Harper family. And, she doubted that her parents would consider Sarah for the position, either.
So, Rosey got to her feet and laid her books down on the seat she had been on. “Alright, listen up you lot. If any of my stuff is moved, I’m going to personally hex whoever it was that did it, got it?” She didn’t wait for much of a response before she made her wa out of the common room. Once she was outside, she followed the general directions that the younger kid had told her about. Who she saw was more than a little surprise. “Ed! What’re you doing out in these parts? Fancy being a Hufflepuff?”

Camden stood there with his hands stuffed in his pockets as he waited for his sister. Some other Hufflepuffs passed by and gave him wondering looks which he just returned with a glare. Who cared why he was down here? Sure he was a Slytherin down near the Hufflepuff Basement. But he had a good reason to be here. He wanted to visit with his sister. The one person that he had no problem spending his time with. The one person he could spend all of his time with. The one that was in his family. Someone he could trust with his own thoughts but also appreciate hers. Camden didn't get that feeling very often from anyone.
His blue eyes scanned the hallway as he watched for his sister. The younger Harper didn't mind the questioning looks from the Hufflepuff students that had passed by. It was none of their business on why he was here. None of their business at all. As long as he wasn't there to taunt them, which he wasn't, it would never be their business.
While he waited for his sister all he could think about was everything that was going on. The things with his sister. The things that were happening in his life. He ran into problems here in his sixth year. He had problems with his potions class. After finding out everything that was going on between Rosalie, Lorcan and Caesar, he had a hard time sitting in a potions class where the intern was the same boy that his sister was having problems. And he never liked Caesar to begin with. But now his sister was going to be marrying this guy that he didn't like and Camden had no say in it. On the bright side he was pretty sure that Caesar did actually love his sister but then again he'd seen things. Things that he was unwilling to let spew from his mouth. That had been the problem about being a people watcher, sometimes you see things that you don't necessarily want to have ever seen.
Soon his blue eyes had landed on his older sister and he smiled softly. But scoffed at her words of him wanting to be a Hufflepuff. ”And what let Mum and Dad hate me too?” he asked her. It wasn't meant as a dig but more of a statement. He really believed the only reason his parents liked him so much was because he was in Slytherin. Had he been the same person but in say Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff or even Gryffindor, he was pretty sure he wouldn't be looked at the same. ”And do I really need reason to come visit just about the only person I can stand?” he asked her with a smirk. In other words there was no true reason for him to be there. He just wanted to listen and spend time with his sister.
