Neville couldn't escape his work. Well he could, but he didn't want to. Herbology was his life, along with his family of course. But his family was gone at the moment. Jasper was out playing Quidditch, Helena was at school, and his wife was attending to some sort of business at the Ministry, probably involving the suspicious characters who had made trouble at the pub as of late. So without them about, Neville worked in the indoor greenhouse above the pub. He was currently working on a new growth of Star Grass, which he planned to experiment with in order to potentially make a more effective form of Star Grass Salve. Why? No real reason. It was Neville and plants. He turned to see his cat Poof curiously looking about a doorway. "Poof!" he said. "I told you not to go in that room!" He placed down the Star Grass pot in his hands and ran to pick up the cat. " That's where I keep the carnivorous plants. You were almost devoured last time." Neville then carried Poof down the hall to a small playroom they had prepared for him. SEAMUS BRAEDAN FINNIGAN

Seamus always enjoyed checking in on friends and since he'd moved just outside of London. He could never get used to the bustle of the city especially after growing up in the countryside of Ireland. One could not blame him though. But he was happy with the house that he had with Lavander for his family. Today he only had a short day at the Ministry so he decided to slide in and see Neville at the Leaky Cauldron. A drink wouldn't hurt either.
When he arrived at the Leaky Cauldron he ordered a drink from one of the bartenders before asking where Neville was and he was told that he was upstairs above the bar. He took his drink and walked upstairs and smiled as he caught sight of his friend moving from one room to another and a chuckle came from his throat when he saw him carrying the cat and overheard what he said. ”That's where I keep the carnivorous plants. You were almost devoured last time.” ”Have you ever considered getting a greenhouse somewhere other than where you live, Longbottom?” he asked with a wide grin.
Neville and Seamus had been good friends since their first year at Hogwarts, dormmates along with Harry, Ron and Dean. It was a good thing that they'd all stayed friends during their years at Hogwarts even with a few mishaps on Seamus' part. ”How have you been?” he asked. They hadn't seen each other in a while so it was good to see a good friend. In fact a good friend whose wife helped employ his oldest daughter Sarah. She worked here as a bartender.

Harry Potter had Ron Weasley and Neville had Seamus Finnigan. The two had been through a lot together in their day, especially their final year at Hogwarts when they had to do what they could to help the younger students not go mad in wake of the insanity of Voldemort's take over of the school. Neville hadn't seen him much since Seamus had left London. Then again, Neville was a busy man going from home to the greenhouses he worked at in London to Hogwarts to aid Professor Detterding now and then. He was glad to see Seamus drop in, and gave a bit of a smile as he placed Poof in the playroom. "Now stay there," he said to the feline. He then looked at Seamus. "I wanted a greenhouse outside of the pub, but the Misses says between disappearing into this one and the ones I do research for and the one at Hogwarts, I'm already gone quite enough. One more and she'd never see me." Neville loved his wife, and certainly wanted to avoid her wrath in the long run. "And I'm well, Seamus," he said, his voice perked up a tad. "How is life outside the city?"SEAMUS BRAEDAN FINNIGAN
