 Percy Weasley Forty Eight blood status INTERNATIONAL MAGICAL LAW OFFICE Hawthorn Wood, Coral, 10” BIRTHDAY: 22 August PATRONUS: Yorkshire Terrier ABILITIES: Occlumency - Legillimency A-Audrey Audrey was the best thing that ever happened in Percys life. He worked late hours and even left the country while they were dating but he was sure to see her as much as possible, even if it was in the middle of the night. The two found that they could share each other’s deepest secrets and still feel love for each other. He was sort of ridiculous as a boyfriend, constantly brining her flowers and chocolates. He was sweet, he felt sweet-which was a feeling her had never experienced before. Even now he still travels a lot and keeps a very serious attitude most of the time, but their marriage is still strong and he shows love when he can. B-Bulgaria For six months, while he was dating Audrey, Percy was stationed in Bulgaria. The trip was for a case he was hired on by Viktor Krum, who was a dear friend to the family after the Tri-Wizard tournament. Krum had been dealing with a stalker for the past two months or so and once the law enforcement caught the person, Krum hired Percy to handle the charges against them. The months apart from Audrey was the time that they grew the strongest as a couple, distance made their hearts grow fonder. C-Cold and Calculating Although Percy has a deep love for his family, his been known to be a very strict father. As a lawyer he is very cold and calculating, making sure every detail is accounted for. He is said to be one of the most efficient lawyers because he makes sure to hear both sides of every story and perfect the details. This, however, has bled into his family life a little as he treats his daughters with serious expectations and high values. D-department of international magical cooperation Percy started working with the department soon after graduation, under Barty Crouch Sr. Later he became the Junior Assistant to the Minister of Magic, but resigned during the famous battle of Hogwarts. Soon after spending those years with his family and mourning the loss of his brother, Percy re-involved himself with the department of international magical cooperation and studied international law enforcement. After seeing the death of his brother, and all of the evil things happening during that time Percy found his calling as a lawyer, wanting to protect Britain and other countries from dark wizards. E-Everyday show-off Just a little snidbit about Percy has a young man. When he first learned to apparate he would use it to travel down the stairs every morning just to show off and prove that he was able to do it, and do it well. He did things like this often, especially once he came of age and was allowed to use magic. F-Family Percy has a long and complicated history with his family. He grew up bitter and harsh because of their unfortunate poor situation. The older he got, the more he resented his father for not supporting the ministry and he disowned his family after graduation for a while. He came back as soon as they needed him for the wizarding war. Why? Because his he finally gave in to his feelings. His sense of duty and honor was skewed for so long that he could barely recognize himself anymore. But, when the moment came and his family needed him he finally was able to step away from his pride and support them. He has been there for his siblings and parents ever since, and has tried to make sure his wife and daughters see as much of them as possible. Gryffindor Percy never thought himself brave as a child, especially since his older AND younger siblings picked on him often. When he was sorted into Gryffindor, he figured it was only because of his bloodline. He thought he belonged in Ravenclaw, personally, but the hat makes the choices. He spent years resenting the fact that he had been sorted into a house full of hyperactive and irritating bunkmates, so he buried himself in school work. Soon, however, he decided his bravery came from the fact that he was able to stand apart from his family. Becoming a prefect, head boy and eventually a top N.E.W.T. student. He decided that his bravery was by standing with the ministry apart from his family, which was brave, wasn’t it? Soon he discovered that he had got it all young, as mentioned previously, and his family was the most important thing in his life. Resigning from the ministry was really the bravest thing he had ever done, and he knows that now. Humorous Glimpses Percy wasn’t all pompous and stiff-necked. Percy has been known to show small glimpses of humor throughout his life. His moment in the battle of Hogwarts as he resigned from the ministry is the last moment that made his brother, Fred, laugh. While dating Audrey Percy was known to try and make jokes to make her laugh, though they usually came out sounding awful and not funny at all. As a father he would try and be funny with his daughters, and as children it worked. Now, as teenagers, they just rolls their eyes at his attempts to joke. I-Ignatius Percy’s middle name came from his mother’s uncle, Ignatius Prewett. Ignatius married a member of the black family, becoming and uncle to Sirius and Regulus. Percy didn’t know the man well, but assumed that he was a great man considering the fact that his mother had chosen his name for Percy. Percy looked up his uncle when he was sixteen, the man was fairly old but Percy still enjoyed a nice spot of tea with him. J-Junior Assistant to the Minister for Magic When Percy was giving the position by the minister of magic, Cornelius Fudge, it was mainly to spy on the Weasleys, Dumbledore and Harry Potter. Percy knew somewhat what was going on when he was asked to take the position, but he was so proud of himself he didn’t care. He even did the job of spying because he thought he was doing something noble and brave at the time. K-Kiss The only person Percy had ever kissed before Audrey was his school girlfriend, Penelope Clearwater. After he had graduated, and the two had broken up, he wasn’t interested in romance for several years. when he met Audrey, he wasn’t even thinking about her in that light at all. But soon, soon they started seeing each other more often. She was working in the Muggle Liaison Office back then, so they crossed paths at the ministry often. Soon, Percy started making a point of running into her on purpose until he finally had the courage to take her out. Their first kiss happened after weeks of dating, when he finally got his nerve up and kissed her right beside the ministry fountain. The two were crossing paths, as they often did and he clasped his hand on her arm, whipping her around to kiss her firmly on the lips before continuing in the direction he had been heading. L-LUCY EMMALINE WEASLEY Learning that his daughter was a Slytherin after her first year wasn’t easy for Percy. He spent his life time putting most Slythering Alumni in jail, and he had been tormented by them for years. There were good things about the house however, the cunning and the ambition. Lucy had received both of those traits from her father, no doubt. But it was still difficult to face that she was in the house Percy hated the most. Percy made many mistakes in treating Lucy differently after that. He wasn’t as loving as he should have been and she soon started to avoid them. Now, in her seventh year, they are still not on good terms. M-MOLLY AURORA WEASLEY The girl was a klutz, who occasionally got on his nerves, but he loved her anyway. Her impulsive side is very far from Percy, she is much like her mother. She was disobedient and brave, much like Percys brothers. Percy had kept a constant watch on her, trying to keep her out of trouble but it rarely worked. Percy loves Molly, even though she too tries to keep a distance from him. N-Notes During the six months that Percy was in Bulgaria, he and Audrey wrote many letters. These notes are now saved in a binder safely stored at the Weasley home. During the few years of a rocky marriage after the honeymoon stage, Percy often referenced these letters in order to remember how much he had loved her while me missed her. The letters helped him to keep his younger, more romantic side alive, and therefore keep his marriage alive. O.W.L. Percy received and O.W.L. in every exam he took, most were Oustandings. P-Present Percy currently is working as a lawyer in the International Magical law Office and resides in a lovely home on the outskirts of London. Percy often sends letters to his daughters, even though they don’t’ often write back immediately. He knows they are bust with schoolwork, and expect to hear about their marks in every letter. So it makes sense that they would take their time writing. When he is away internationally, he still writes letters to his wife every time. Percy is hoping to be able to connect with his daughters more as adults than he did when they were children and is preparing every day for the proud day of their graduatoin. Quidditch World Cup During the Death Eater attack at the Quidditch World Cup was one of the few times Percy fought alongside the Ministry AND his family. During the fight, the only injury he received was a bloody nose, thankfully. Percy also had a moment where Mr. Crouch referred to him as ‘Weatherby’, which to this day Percy is still bitter about. Percy was so proud of his position as a member of the ministry and being called the wrong name by his superior in front of his family was probably the most embarrassing thing that could have happened to him during that time. Those were delicate days of balancing family and ministry, before he turned his back on his family for a while. R-Reunion Percy left his family for a time to join the ministry during the second rise of Lord Voldemort. As explained previously, he soon realized his mistake and returned to the aid of his family in their most dire time of need. Percy came to them, humbled and at a loss for words and they accepted him with open arms. The reunion was short lived but the effects have lasted his lifetime. S-Support Even though Percy can be strict and harsh when it comes to his daughter’s futures, he has tried to make it clear that he supports whatever future they choose to pursue. In the past he hasn’t made that clear as he would like, but he hopes to make up for his unsupportive nature in the present and the future. T-Twins November 23rd, the girls were born. Percy was in panic mode, he didn’t know the first thing about being a father. Compassion? Patience? Understanding? Those were words Percy often struggled with. He knew Audrey would guide him through the whole thing, but he also knew he had to count on himself. Percy focused so hard on raising the ‘perfect’ children that he barely showed any love and warmth to his twins. He was strict, harsh and calculating when it came to raising the girls. He was often out of the country but, similar to while he was dating Audrey, he made it a point to come home often and bring treats and gifts for his girls. He lived in a poor household and he wanted the opposite for his children. The longer he was away, the more he spoiled the girls when he got home. Those were the best days as a family, when he was home after a long trip.
