Now reunited with her best friend Katalina and with the potential of an amazing and long existence alongside the freshly graduated vampire, it didn't take long for Jackie to decide to quit her job and take on a more intriguing career. Like Katalina, she was once again a professional criminal. Despite the time away from her past shenanigans, she still knew how to play the game. The lessons she learned from Katalina had stuck with her well. And now it was time to play again.
She would meet Katalina at her home, and then it was time to move on to their target for the night. Where could that be? What home of what wealthy wizard or witch? Who cared? Jackie hadn't had this much fun for so long that she was ready for anything! She had heard of a few gala events going on though, and some did catch her interest more than others. But again, where Kat wanted to go, Jackie would follow.

* KATALINA ( ROSA ) de la VEGA ,
Kat realized as she was waiting for Jackie to show up, that it had been a good few months since she had done anything really illegal. Maybe Ben was turning her soft. She wasn't totally sure of the cause, but she did know that this was the best feeling in the world. Maybe it could be topped by the adrenaline that pumped through her system as she was actually pulling off a heist. Tonight they were attending a very special gala opening. Now, it felt a little cliché to call it a jewerly heist, but that's essentially what it was. It was a showing of some of the most dangerous gemstones in the wizarding world. Their target would be a ruby the size of Katalina's own head that bled the blood of the victims who were killed over it. Not particularly deadly itself, but it was intriguing nonetheless, and she already had a buyer that was willing to pay more galleons for that ruby than she could stash in her own house.
She walked into her library, and tapped her wand three times on an old copy of Interview with a Vampire. She always got a chuckle out of that. A scanner appeared, and she bite down onto her palm to draw some blood. Once the magic worked, and accepted her, her palm healed itself, and the bookcase vanished. It revealed a stainless steel room with no windows where she kept extra stock of blood, items she collected over her lifetime, and all of the things (magical and electronic) she could need for a job. She grabbed two clutch purses with expanding charms placed on the inside. They were so much easier to handle than giant backpacks full of gear. Then she started throwing into them all of the things she expected they might need for this job. Things like hairspray, cable, crossbows, vials of potions with an array of uses from smoke screens to poisons, and then she collected a few things that they were going to have to wear that night. Obviously, an all black outfit was needed, and she picked up two pairs of very special two way radio earrings.
The blond had to admit that it was getting harder and harder to tell the electronic gear from the magically charmed, not that it mattered. They both worked perfectly. Then she threw on her gown for the evening. Not two seconds after the threw a second gown on the bed for Jackie, had she heard her downstairs. “Boy do I have a night planned for you.” Kat spoke as if she were right next to the other girl, knowing that she would still be heard. Then she blurred down the stairs to stand next to her friend, dress falling back into place, two forged invitations for that night, and the purses in her shoulder. “Get dressed. We have a party to crash.” Her smile grew wicked. She would explain everything to Jackie as she was getting dolled up in her first change of the night.
