Cailyn Roisin born the eldest child of Eddie and Kayla Carmichael who was quickly followed by fraternal twins a brother and a sister. Lyn loved her birthday, it was the day before Hallowe'en and she loved playing dress up for what was essentially her birthday. Lyn grew up in the average childhood. Her father a very intelligent wizard and her mother also a fairly intelligent muggle raised their kids in a muggle/wizard way. The children all went to muggle primary school where they learned the vast majority of everything that they needed to know before going to Hogwarts. Lyn enjoyed school, not for the lessons but for the friends. Even from the time of a small newborn she's liked the comfort of people. She's always had friends, even if those friends aren't close she's always had them. She can easily be a chatter box to shares pretty much everything that runs through her mind. Being so close in age with her siblings it's always made her want to draw a little away from them. Pull herself out into the world and make herself who she is. As a toddler of the age of two, she showed her first signs of magic causing her sippy cup to hover to her so she could continue to play with her blocks while she drink her juice.
Lyn grew up immersed into both her father's lifestyle as a wizard and her mother's lifestyle as a muggle and learned to balance the two. She loved muggle fashion and always wanted to look the prettiest she could. Her mother would do her hair for her before she'd go off to school each morning and she was always dressed in something that made her pretty. But there's another side to just looking pretty, she likes to rough house with the boys. In school there were many times where she'd come home with her pretty dress or outfit in general stained green and brown from school yard activities. She always wanted to play ball with the boys.
She was smart, always showed it as she worked hard in school despite being the little social butterfly. She did always prefer though spending time with people than doing homework and studying. Then the year she was to turn twelve she got her Hogwarts letter. She was very excited to be able to go to the wizarding school. She was excited to meet more witches and wizards and live her life the way it was meant to be lived. She was excited to do all her school shopping in Diagon Alley and couldn't stop talking about it for days. She picked out everything she could that was nice to take to school and even got a beautiful grey owl to take with her she named the male owl Gaelvain from a mix of two names she'd read as a kid in a book about elves. She thought it was pretty. And then the experience of getting her first wand. It was just about one of the best things that she'd ever done. That very first trip was one of the most nerve wracking for her, sure she'd always been liked but that was around muggles, what would these witches and wizards think of her. She couldn't go seven years not having friends at school. She was probably the quietest she'd ever been on that ride to Hogwarts. She dug her nose into a book and hoped no one had spoke to her. Arriving to the school she'd gotten sorted into Ravenclaw just like her dad. She was happy about it, then she would have honestly been happy with any house.
Her first year was a normal first year. It was fun and she did make plenty of friends. Sure she probably annoyed some people with her constant jabber but she counted most people that she met as friends. It was just the way she thought. Even if she only spent about five minutes with you your entire life, if something memorable happened you would be a friend. And then her second year her siblings joined at the school and she tried out for the Ravenclaw house Quidditch team. The girl who had portrayed herself as the Miss Hogwarts of her year had a good arm on her from the sports that she played on the school yard. She had tried out for the beater position and got it. School after that had always been hanging out with friends and playing Quidditch before studying but always getting studying done.
Lyn did well on her O.W.L.s well enough to continue one to work on her classes so she can later become a healer as long as he passed her N.E.W.T.s in her seventh year. Now that it's her N.E.W.T. year she's ready to get ready to pass those as well. This year though is all about living her life to the fullest and getting prepared for the real world.
