HISTORY:
Caj met his wife after having completed his education at Durmstrang. At first, he was turned by cold attitude towards him but her veela beauty caused him to develop a romantic interest in her. After five years of difficult courtship, due to both sides being stubborn as heck, the couple eventually got married. Anja proved to be a good wife and the pair were quite happy despite how they had started off. The birth of Katharina only furthered their happiness and they doted on their newborn daughter.
This happiness would prove to be fleeting, however, as Anja was taken from her family one dark, winter night. Murdered by a renegade werewolf, Anja barely had time to scream before she met her end. After the funeral, Caj retreated into the world of work and did little else. Grief twisting Cajs' heart caused him to neglect his daughter, whom, in turn, retreated in the world of books, scrolls and make believe as well as tending to her various pets. When Katharina was eight years old, her father moved the both of them to England in order to escape the memories.
Getting her letter was a relief for Katharina as her father had been skeptical that she would even get one, considering she is a half creature. Sorted into Gryffindor, Katharina found herself flourishing though she tends to keep to herself. As she got older, Katharina grew more aware of the uses her nature held and thrived on the attention she was being given. Well aware that the words of paramours could not be trusted since they were likely merely under the charm of her veela nature, Katharina never pursues romance despite secretly wishing for some of it in her life.
As her final year approaches, Katharina is considering either becoming an artist, florist or any sort of occupation that has to do with animals. She is aware that she has been slacking for far too long in regards to a future career but cannot bring herself to focus on any one thing.
