HISTORY: Charlotte, who goes by Lottie was born as a vampire. Well, Half vampire, which from her experience so far, is just as bad as being a full vampire. At least, as far as she’s concerned. It wasn’t a life of pain per say, but it wasn’t the most comfortable either. She had been fed bottled blood as a child and had been taught how to hunt and to keep control when she was old enough to fully understand the severity of her situation, at about 9 years old. Lottie had learned that while her situation wasn’t what she would have wanted for herself, it, like everything else, had its perks. She was able to walk through the halls of Hogwarts (and the ground of the forbidden forest) with enough confidence to make people who knew about her, or had heard rumors, turn their heads and awe. Thus, the girl almost always had a smirk on her lips.
Despite her hard childhood and having to grow up way faster than normal wizard children would, Lottie wasn’t a bitter person, she was a little rude to some people, but that was mostly due to the way the other children had looked at her and watched her as she walked up to the sorting hat on her first night in the castle. But after she had been sorted into Ravenclaw, she met all her friends and realized that not everyone was shallow enough to treat her differently just because she was a vampire. Most of the school knew the truth about Lottie; she didn’t see a reason to keep it hidden. People were going to talk regardless and if they were afraid they could just stay away. She knew she wasn’t the only vampire at the school, but she was most certainly talked about a lot. She was a mutt in every sense of the world. A halfblood, Half-Vampire mutt. But she had never let the gossip of kids in school affect her.
Lottie got by decently well in school, nothing special, not the star of any of her classes, but not at the bottom of the list by any means. She was happy in the middle with acceptable, respectable marks. She had joined a few clubs and had a cluster of friends who she knew didn’t care who (or what) she was. She strived to make her school years as normal as possible- without going outside, if she could get away with it. Now, as she went into her seventh and final year, Lottie was faced with many questions, what she wanted to do, who she wanted to be. Lottie had never known what she wanted out of life, her main goal had always been (and she figured would always be) keeping a tight grasp on her free will and not letting her Vampire urges take over her body or her mind.
