HISTORY:
Ted was born on April 1 as the only child of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks. He was only a month old when he was orphaned after his parents death during the Battle of Hogwarts. Ted is a metamorphagus, a trait inherited from his late mother. Ted was raised by his grandmother but also benefited from the care of his godfather, Harry James Potter. As he grew up, Ted spent quite a lot of time with the Weasleys and Potters but never felt like he quite belonged, mostly due to the fact that he wasn't actually related to any of them. Ted became closest to Victoire, likely due to the miniscule age gap between them whereas everyone else was quite a bit younger than he was.
When he turned eleven, the boy was sent off to Hogwarts where he was promptly sorted into Gryffindor. Ted remained close to Victoire throughout his school years but was oblivious to the effect he had on her mostly because he figured she didn't really see him as a boy. As Ted grew more aware of Victoires crush on him, he was not sure how to take it considering he knew her since she was in diapers and the fact that they had been best friends all of their lives. Being of a mischievous nature, Ted couldn't help but cause a bit of chaos as he purposely did things that would have Victoire blushing or tripping over her own two feet. After a bit of time, Ted realized that he quite fancied Victoire in return. Still not quite sure how things might be or if it would ruin their friendship entirely, Ted wondered what to do about it. After he graduated, Ted drifted from job to job as he tried to find his niche. Eventually he found it in the form of acting, in both muggle and magical theater.
In the summer before Victoires seventh year, Ted confessed how much he missed being able to spend each day with her which led to him 'officially' asking her out despite having previously gone on a casual date or two together. Ted was quite amused and mildly irritated when one of Victoires younger cousins interrupted a snogging session that he had been enjoying while seeing Victoire off. Ted was pleased when his relationship with Victoire did not fulfill any of his years but instead deepened and grew stronger over time. After the girls graduation, the two were free to spend more time together with Ted offering the girl support as she tried to find her own way as he had when he had graduated.
Once he felt that they were both well situated in their chosen careers, with his acting career going steadily well and Victoire becoming a shop owner, he decided that it was high time he proposed. At first, he greatly confused Victoire by proposing with a ring pop and enjoyed the confused look on her face before presenting her with the actual ring. It took a lot of convincing on his part for Victoire to realize that he was not playing a prank on her and was actually asking her to marry him. Quite happy when she accepted, they decided to place a wager on how long it would take for family members besides the ones in the know {Harry, Andromeda, Victoires parents and siblings} to realize that they Victoire and Ted are engaged.
