HISTORY: Skye Hazel Sloper was born on January 1st, a mere ten months after her older brother. From the start she was a challenging child, always observing and taking everything in. Only to attempt great milestones before she was ready. Skye had an adventurous spirit from the get go, and it never slowed her down. From the day she was born, her older brother was always by her side. Skye grew quite attached to John, and she looked to him for guidance and instruction from a very early age. Whenever the two of them were together, some adventure was being had and trouble was always being caused. Even the birth of their twin sisters didn't seem to phase their fun. Skye loved her sisters and fawned over them as would any older sibling, but John was the main attraction in her young eyes.
It didn't take long for Skye to truly understand how very different she was from the rest of her siblings. From her earliest memories she could remember her father whisking her away during the full moons, claiming it was their special 'Daddy-Daughter Bonding time'. Skye never really gave it much thought, mainly because she never remembered the transformations, nor her return home. She simply thought she fell down and got bumps and scratches whenever she and her father would go 'camping'. Because of these similarities, Skye grew very close to her father. She was scrappy, aggressive, and could easily take care of herself. She enjoyed the rough and tumble of being outdoors, and never really wanted to be quite as girly as her sisters or mother.
When Skye finally understood what was happening to her, the first person she turned to was her brother. He had always been able to comfort and soothe her, and she always went to him when needing support. Wyatt never treated her any different, and would always go out of his way to help her. The toughest time in her life was when he went away to Hogwarts for the first time. Despite following him just one year later, Skye honestly felt lost without her brother. Lucky for her, when she left for Hogwarts the first time, she was sorted into Gryffindor just like her brother.
Her first year at Hogwarts was a difficult transition. Very few people knew of her condition, and it wasn't something she liked to express to people, even though tensions had relaxed about werewolf students at the school. In some deep fashion, Skye felt ashamed of what she was. Mostly because of the past reputation of her species. It was definitely difficult to hear about werewolves and how to defend oneself from them during Defense Against the Dark Arts. Wy made her transition all the easier, although while at school it wasn't as if he could tuck her in and fall asleep next to her to watch over her. They were growing up, which meant building a different kind of relationship with one another.
Skye was always the middle child of the family, seeing as her younger sisters were twins. For the most part, she kept to herself, choosing to ignore family drama and clashes. However, the werewolf inside of her caused her to be temperamental at times, and even Skye couldn't control her temper then. It was the same at school, which is why Skye finds herself in detention more times than not. Well, that and she simply likes to push boundaries. She wants to have adventures, break rules, fall in love, and go crazy as much as possible. Being a werewolf, however, means she has to have complete control over herself at all times. This sadly means she never gets many chances to cut loose.
