HISTORY: Kennedy is the daughter of a former U.S. senator and a British stage actress. The pair met and fell in love after meeting during his campaign and they lived in Washington D.C. throughout his term, during which Holly put her acting career on hold. It was during this time that their oldest two children, Harrison and Madison were born. Shortly after Max's six year term was completed, they received word that Holly's mother had fallen quite ill and the family made the decision to move to England to be closer in Holly's mother's time of need. At the time, she was pregnant with Kennedy.
Holly's mother, Louise Whitmore, passed away just before Kennedy was born and the new baby was given her grandmother's name. Holly took the death of her mother quite hard, which wasn't at all helped by the post-partem depression she was experienced following the birth of her new baby. Luckily for them, Max was a loving, hard-working man who took the reigns, taking on the role of Holly's manager. He felt that getting her back into the work that she loved would help distract her from the stresses that were weighing down on her. With his help, Holly not only got back into stage acting, she thrived in it, winning a multitude of awards, fans, and acclaim.
Eventually two more Stark children were born into the family. Kennedy and her siblings were raised to be creative, inventive, compassionate and hard-working. They were raised to believe that anything is possible as long as you were willing to put forth the effort. They were also taught to live a 'glass half full' kind of life. Nothing was impossible.
Of course, that wasn't exactly what this family of muggles had in mind exactly when they were visited by a Hogwarts professor. Kennedy had just barely turned eleven years old when the family was informed that she was a witch. However, they had a firm belief that the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward, and sent Kennedy off to Hogwarts.
During her time at Hogwarts, she was sorted into the Gryffindor house and participated in many activities, including the dueling club, cooking club, herbology club and photo editor of the school paper. Kennedy was never the best student. In fact, she struggled in some classes, particularly potions (she paid quite a few visits to the school mediwitch after incidents that occurred in potions class), but she worked hard and put forth a five-star effort in everything she did.
Even after graduating from Hogwarts, she was eager to continue her education in the world of magic, knowing there was so much left to learn. She ended up enrolling in the university, where she focused heavily on learning potion-making. It was the one class she had struggled with the most and she was determined to perfect it. By the time she finished her second year, she had become quite adept at potion making.
She ended up taking a part time job as a cashier at Honeyduke's and was eventually promoted to candy inventor. After the attack on the university happened, Kennedy's job became a full time one. Now, though she thoroughly enjoys her work, she spends a lot of time trying to find what information she can about the attacks and the people responsible.
