LIKES: his mother's genetics (and that he wasn't passed his father's ginger hair), 20th-century Muggle cinema, quidditch (he's a gifted player but doesn't love the sport as much as the team dynamic), black and white photography, the rain, when people know each other well enough to finish each other's sentences, charms classes, walking barefoot on wet grass, reggae and playing guitar in general, magical creatures (the tame-able ones at least), homework (shockingly enough), and the sound of no one talking - not necessarily "silence".
DISLIKES: speaking just to be heard, blood snobs, the extreme cold, having difficulty finding the right word to describe something, people that always have to be right or have the last word, beards - well... really whiskers in general give him the irrational creeps, anise/licorice (taste or smell), his own singing voice (even though he's told it's not that bad), blood sausage, gossip, his mother trying to play matchmaker, and being underestimated.
BIGGEST FEAR: being stuck in a rut for the rest of his life just because he's expected to "settle down"
PERSONALITY: courageous, loyal, protective, more knowledgeable than book smart, not looking to impress anyone, unassuming, altruistic
Looks like Bill (with his mother's complexion and hair coloring), acts like Charlie, gets along best with his Aunt Ginny. Freddie is, not so fondly for his part, referred to by many a Slytherin (and his Uncle Percy) as "Hippie Weasley." Not that he is lazy or unwashed, but rather that he is laid-back and approachable - a willing mentor and sounding board, with an open mind and love for all things celebrating life (magical or otherwise). While he is extremely loathe to be goaded to anger or physical confrontation, Freddie has a very low tolerance for individuals who openly discriminate based upon blood status; not only is he a half-blood, but he and his sister are "half-breeds" of a different sense (one even, sadly, looked down upon in some circles of the Muggle world): Mulattos. It is a particularly sensitive subject with him.

MOTHER: Angelina Weasley (née Johnson)
FATHER: George Weasley
SIBLINGS: Roxanne Weasley | 4th-year | Gryffindor
HISTORY:
Frederick Weasley was born the second of his name, named for his father's late twin brother and his parents' school-time best friend, and to this day he's never been quite sure how that makes him "the second," instead simply being grateful that his dad doesn't call him "Junior." He looked the most unlikely Weasley yet, in no small part because the only physical traits from his father's side of the family he inherited were a pair of blue eyes and bone-structure that took after his Uncle Bill, otherwise taking after his mother with a complexion lightened somewhat by his father's pasty whiteness. Much the same can be said for his sister, Roxanne, born three years after Freddie and named for her maternal grandmother.
Growing up in a joke shop - his parents own and run Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes on Diagon Alley - would seem like a dream for any child, but it seems that jokes and toys, like eating gross amounts of sugar, can wear on you when constantly immersed in them. That was not to say that Freddie found them a bore, he simply became more interested in how they did what they did than what they did specifically. More so, he adored the reaction of his father when trying out new gags on unsuspecting customers and their children. Like his father, and his father before him, Freddie developed a keen fascination for Muggle artifacts and specifically Muggle photography - which did not move like magical photos, but for that very reason seemed to have a certain simple beauty for it.
It may seem uncharacteristic for a Weasley to be quiet, and truly Freddie can't be summed up solely as that, however like few in the family before him, he's much more content to listen and contemplate than to insist on speaking. One thing is for certain about being a Weasley is that family comes first... and you have a whomping big family. And despite the galleons that branches of the family have come into - the Potters what with Uncle Harry's inheritance from his parents and godfather, Uncle Bill's family what with Aunt Fleur's well-to-do affluence, and Freddie's own with his father having turned 3W into a real money-spinner - they make Grandmum and Granddad's Burrow in high need of extension charms come Christmas.
Weasley's were like rabbits, or rats if you ask some rotten Slytherins, but being many came with its perks as well. When Freddie's letter admitting him to Hogwarts came in his 12th year, as it had come for his father before him, as it had come for the uncle he was named for but would never know, Freddie found himself packing off with caldron, wand (13 3/4" rowan - noted for its liking to pure-hearted wizards and protection - with Dittany strand core), and his cousins James and Rose - all three sorted, to the surprise of none, into their parents' house, Gryffindor. Freddie took to Hogwarts like a fish to water, perhaps a tad on the precocious side (he was his father's son, after all), though classes that lacked in practicals had a nasty habit of spacing him out. His marks were actually quite good, though that was largely due to his affinity for writing scrolls and learning more, it seemed, from studying texts than sitting lectures. As such, he developed a nasty habit in Potions for attempting to improvise, or rather improve upon recipes, none to few times to disastrous result.
He could not have been his parents' son if he did not play Quidditch. That's not to say that he would have been disinherited had he been terrible, but rather that he took to a broom naturally, a born flier like his mother, the renown Gryffindor chaser. However, first years rarely received invitations to join house teams, and in fact, Freddie had to spend two years on the Gryffindor reserves before earning a successful call-up at his mother's position. His father had fancied his chances of making a "cracking good beater" because of his build. But while the idea of beating away bludgers to protects his teammates appealed to Freddie's nature, he felt just the opposite about doing so while also trying to smack them at opposing players. Quidditch was never a chore for Freddie, though there were times that the ultra-competitive aspect of it - not helped by his cousin James' ambition in that area - has been grating. He loves being part of a team and feels a connection to his parents and the legacy of his namesake uncle when he dons the robes. But there is immense pressure that comes with being Angelina Johnson's son, not the least of which comes from his mother, that Freddie would just as soon not have to deal with.
In his first five years at school, Freddie neither stood out or failed to fit in. He had plenty of mates, bolstered even further by the influx of Weasley, Potter, and Krum cousins who followed. His mum might have... no, certainly would have preferred he pair himself off with a young witch, and it wasn't as though Freddie wasn't interested, so much as he had adopted a very laissez-faire (or so his cousin said) attitude toward the whole matter, strengthened a bit more every time his mother, well-intending as she might be, pushed. Doggy, his cat, seemed to share his mother's sentiment or perhaps he was working in collusion with his sister, with whom he shared the cat. (The cat which acted as if it owned the Gryffindor common room and strode freely between boys' and girl' dormitories, though always sleeping at Roxy's feet once she arrived at Hogwarts in Freddie's 4th year.) It was as if the cat flirted with women to try and play matchmaker, and found few males it didn't take offense to aside from Freddie's younger cousin Albus and Freddie himself. He swore that when he conversed with that cat, as both he and Roxanne had shown the ability to do, it was scanning his mind via kitty occlumency for any inkling of a crush on a fellow student, and seriously considered taking out a book on leglimency to safeguard his mind.
During his fifth year, Freddie shocked quite a few - possibly most of all, his father - receiving exceptionally high marks (five "O's" and three "E's") on his O.W.L.'s, qualifying to pursue his N.E.W.T.'s in Charms, Astronomy, Ancient Runes, Defense Against the Dark Arts (these first four, his "O's"), History of Magic, Transfiguration, Potions, and Herbology. After all, he had always tested well. He was a bit put out that he'd only managed an "A" thus missing N.E.W.T. level for Care of Magical Creatures, but he had devoted himself so much to doing no harm to his fire crab that he'd suffered a less-than-preferable amount of burns himself in the process. Unlike many of the other seventh-year students in his N.E.W.T.'s, he truly hasn't got a clue where he aspires to work as when he completes his schooling. He can certainly tell you what he doesn't want to do: Be cooped up in some small office or as a cog in a process line. Freddie wants to travels, he wants to experience life and make the lives of other around him, even those he has yet to meet, better.
There is, of course, the family business to fall back on, but he doesn't have the heart to tell his father that he doesn't want that. A small part of this is also that, in the back of his mind, he doesn't want to admit that his father won't live forever. It's a slightly naive and very idealistic notion, but that's Freddie.
