HISTORY: Born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany, Andrew was the first child born to Claudia and Lukas Hunt. He was the child to carry the legacy of being a pureblood, therefore giving him more privileges in life. He was the supposed heir to the the family until his new baby brother, Markus was born. It happened to be a seven year gap which meant that his parents neglected his presence and given him less attention. The spotlight was always on Markus, who was known as a "perfect" child, and that name was given to him for a reason. He developed his magic faster, he made his parents happy, and he was generally better than Andrew. Of course this sparked some tension in the family when Andrew couldn't overcome his jealousy and started to abruptly discard his family's expectations and love.
At the age of eleven he was accepted into Durmstrang which was no surprise to his family. They were still cooing for Markus, and never really paid any attention when Andrew wondered on his own. It earned the boy a lot of independence which helped in at his new school. Even at the train platform, his parents didn't exactly forbid him a farewell because Markus was doing something cute or they were too busy to even gesture some love for the elder son. Andrew never really had a great childhood, but did have a educated career at Durmstrang. This was also a year that he learned his fear for snakes. His friends had pulled a prank in his bed. When Andrew woke up, he was covered and surrounded by snakes. It wasn't the best time but, he lived with it. He took a lot of classes involving English and nursing and in his final year, he had one of the highest averages in the school. He enrolled into the University in Hogsmeade and was undoubtedly accepted with his grades.
Now, his parents thought otherwise of his poor decision without their permission. His father was not impressed as he was one of the representatives for Germany's Ministry and his mother thought differently of being educated in Britain. Andrew had assured them it was his intention to travel the world and why not start in Britain. It was very uneasy for the next few days but they did see him go for his four year program, his brother wasn't amused and had argued that he was disgracing the family legacy. It was quite a surprise that his family ignored his brother's perspective- for once and bid him farewell on his new adventure.
Once he got to the university, it was no surprise people were explaining things slowly to him because of his foreign accent. Quite frankly, he thought it was amusing to see them humiliate themselves in front of him. He met his roommate, another foreign exchange student from America. He had done what everyone else had and spoke slow for Andrew to understand. Of course, Andrew did explain that he was bilingual and could understand what he was saying. University continued and he had met many women around the village. One was noticeably better than the rest. Lucy, a young girl from London who was attending university to become a teacher. He had always spoke with her and tried his best to interact with her while she was on her break. She had caught on pretty quickly and accepted him into her bubble where they decided to date for the remainder of the year.
As he continued studying at the university, he had soon lost his accent. People treated him differently to his surprise and he became liked by a lot of his colleagues. Lucy also continued to side him and he had promised her that they would get a house together and enjoy their time with each other. When his four year program finished, he continued through the internship at Hogwarts to become one of the healers. Lucy was in a four year program as well but, because she didn't have the marks to pass, she continued to study at the university. Andrew was quite fond of her and knew that she was a candidate to spend the rest of his life with. But, that never happened. She soon lost time with Andrew and focused on her studies more than him. He couldn't blame her but she soon reminded him of his parents and how they neglected him. Andrew couldn't stand it and they took a year break from each other to think about their thoughts.
Once the year passed, Lucy had passed her studies and was getting an internship with one of her professors. She started to communicate with Andrew again and they started over. But, it didn't last long. Andrew knew that Lucy loved cats, so why not buy her a cat for her birthday? It was going to be an early gift because the cat did seem pretty popular among the kids. He quickly bought it off the shopkeeper who happily obliged to his offer. Soon, Andrew reached the university, and waited in the open for her to finish. Students were starting to hurl out which was Andrew's cue to surprise her. But, he was the one that got the surprise. The university started to burn, and people started to run. Out of the people that escaped, Lucy was no where to be found. She was a casualty from the massacre at the university. Lost with the many there. Instead, Andrew named his cat in memory of his friend, Lucy.
Since then, Andrew started his career at Hogwarts and is still a nurse at Hogwarts. He works the evening/night shifts to supervise the patients and rarely does he work in the afternoon.
