five traits.
Spirited You are the fire. Everywhere you set foot on seems to burn with your presence. You have got something that causes every to look at you whenever you walk by. Not your appearance, you insist. Perhaps that is the determination, the passion and the enthusiasm that you put in everything you do. You are the type of person who tends to poke your nose in other people’s business but pays no attention to your own. You do whatever it takes to have at least one person near you, since the loneliness scares you to death. Thus, there is totally if you are seen among a crowd, chatting non-stop. You speak what you want whenever you feel like, and do not care at all about whether people like what you say or not. Bluntness is something irresistible to you in every sense of meaning. Better be out than in. You have always told that to yourself. Better be your true self than be what people want you to be.
Strong-willed/wild “Principles” and “rules” are the two words that are very much unfamiliar to you. So very often, your deeds are based on the decision of your heart, not your mind. Impulsive and quick-tempered, you are always on the verge of exploding and all it takes is just one single spark. Sure you get into troubles once in a while. But you are glad you get to do what you think is right. Once you have made up your mind, no one or nothing in the world can prompt you to consider another option. You are wrong several times undoubtedly. However, mistakes make you stronger and wrong decisions make you wiser. Life is only once. You have no intentions of wasting it.
Stubborn You detest losing, whether it is a competition or a fight. It has been in your blood since forever. And usually your good efforts to win turn to irritating stubbornness that no one can stand. In a fight, you will never stop arguing until you have won, or have been speechless. There is more than one time you have attempted to impose your opinions on others. But at times, your stubbornness gives you strength and determination to try until you have achieved what you want. It is like a double-bladed knife, which is capable of saving you and ending your life anytime.
Tomboy You do look like a girl, with long brown hair, full lips and certainly curves, albeit they are not so obvious because of your being so skinny. The first impression a stranger usually has of you is your appearing rather fragile. But judging you by your appearance is the biggest mistake anyone can ever make. You enjoy hanging out with guys more than with girls because guys are more open-minded and less complicated. Baggy tops and jeans are the objects that can be easily found in your closet. Makeups, dresses, high heels and appearance are never your proprieties and you cannot understand why other girls are so fond of them. No doubt at all that you have failed to be the daughter your mother has always wanted – the daughter that speaks softly and watches her steps, not the one runs around on bare feet and speak out of turn every time she opens her mouth.
Righteous Your father is an auror and a good man. You always take pride in the fact that you inherited so much from him, including the abilities of a Mentamorphmagus. You were taught to stand up for justice and you have never failed to do so in seventeen years of your life, even though it means trouble occasionally. But you are happy to take the consequences as long as you do not have to turn a blind eye to the itchy unfairness. And you were not only told to stand up for justice, you were also told to live it. Righteousness does not mean never telling a lie or never doing any bad. It means not letting yourself feel okay after a deed of dishonesty, and trying to prevent it from happening again. You have lived that way since you were able to spell “honest”.
four memories
The braids You have hardly liked having long hair because it often flies into your mouth or your eyes when you run. But your mother will never let you cut it, as she believes it is the only think that keeps you soft and gentle like a girl should be, though you must say you do not think the same. When you were younger, your mother – a caring and loving Spanish witch – was always the one to comb your hair every morning and carefully make it into one single braid reaching down to your waist. The woman said that it was one of her all-time favourite things to do in the morning. Thus, you decided to tolerate so that she would be pleased. Everyone said the braid looked like a cute little tail that wagged whenever you moved. You did not admit, but you really enjoyed the comment. And despite the fact that you had no interest in fancying your hair, you had to admit that it felt nice feeling her stroke on your hair. It made you feel so small, like a baby who needed sheltering. Sometimes when life gets tough, the protective arms of your mother is the place you always dream to come back to. Now you are seventeen, no longer a child anymore. There is no one to tell you that you cannot cut your annoying long hair anymore. But you decided to keep the same length, so that when you come home, you will still be able to feel your mother’s hands braiding your hair again, be a child again and hide from this tough life again.
The broomstick Your childhood was one of the greatest adventures of your life, because that is the time when everything was so new and mysterious to you. The broomsticks are one of those mysteries. Remember the first time you saw your half-brother, Roarke, flying on a broomstick. You were only four years old at that time but you can still recall how fascinating the scene was. Nothing in the world attracted you like that broomstick did. You did not even remember to close your mouth after a big “wow”. It looked as if Roarke were riding the wind, not the broomstick anymore. Every move of his was graceful, like dance moves. Joshua Beak must have seen something in you, or that least that was what you thought when trying to explain why he taught you to ride a broom when you were only five years old. The thrill and the excitement of the first time being lifted in the air still lingers in you today. The world seemed so much wider when you were on the broom. Finally, you knew the freedom of the birds. No wonder why they did not want to live on the ground at all. And in that very moment, you recognized what you truly wanted for your life – to fly forever. To be free forever. That desire gradually turned into unexplainable passion when you got acquainted with Quidditch. Since your first year at Hogwarts, you have proved to possess the potential of becoming a great Quidditch player. And you have no intentions of being less great than your half-brother, the one you admire so much and have secretly modelled yourself on.
The wand Ollivander Wand shop. You read that sign at least four times before stepping inside with your father. The indescribable nervousness caused your hand to sweat so much that you could hardly hold your books tight. Any child who was about to officially enter the world of magic would probably feel the same as you did. You even thought that the day you got your first wand and your birthday were equally important at some points. Ollivander was probably not the friendliest shopkeeper of all time but he gave you an impression of being so passionate with his job, which made you respect him with your heart. The process of being chosen by a wand was indeed not the most pleasant process. No one really liked the disappointment they got when being rejected by a few wands, neither did you. ”Ten inches long, with Unicorn tail hair as the cure and made of ivy wood, this one should work.” Ollivander commented before giving you a wand. In your little hand, it felt extraordinarily powerful. It seemed to understand your wish better than anyone else in the world, better than you understood your own self. You whispered quietly the spell you have learned from your father: “Lumos”. The tip of the wand started to glow until it became a little warm light. ”It has chosen you, kid.” Ollivander stated nonchalantly. His statement made you smile for a week after that.
The Hufflepuff You were at the Great Hall, waiting in line with other kids. Fiery as you were, you were still disheartened by the new environment and the new faces which you did not know. You had been told about the houses at Hogwarts: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Your father was a Gryffindor, so was your mother. Furthermore, you had heard so many amazing stories about people from that house. Harry Potter, for instance. Thus, there was no reason for you to wish to be placed in another house. ”Please be Gryffindor.” You prayed quietly. ”Dany Beak.” You were startled when your name was called. Sitting on the large chair, which should be two times as large as you were, you nervously waited for the Sorting Hat to be put on your head. But no sooner had it been placed on your head than it asked you a question, which undoubtedly caused your confusion. ”Why Gryffindor?” Because it was a great house, of course. Every successful person was from that house. You told the Hat so. “They are successful because they were in the right place. You have a place where you belong too, kid, I can see it. And in that environment, your strengths will be strengthened.” It was a long silence. Then, very calmly, you replied to the Hat. “I trust you judgement.” All you knew later was “HUFFLEPUFF!”
three goals
Playing Quidditch because it is your passion.
Beating Roarke in a match because he is the one you always want to be like.
Making your family proud because no one in the world can love you as much as they do.
two fears
Loneliness because no one can be all alone in this world.
Forgetting who you are because it means losing everything you ever love.
