Hiromi rolled her eyes and nodded in agreement about Quidditch.
"They're no better than the Muggles and their bloody obsessions with football," she said. In this case, she was obviously referring to what the British called Football and Americans called Soccer. "One night I was in the Muggle part of London and I saw them in a pub after one of the games. They were fighting... like physically having a bleeding row over it. I'd never seen something so stupid in my life. So I take it back. At least the Quidditch fans like brawl like a bunch of raving lunatics."
Hiromi smirked at Alec turning the tables and calling her old because she called him a youngster. He had both a Ravenclaw's wisdom and wit. She couldn't help but like that about him. Plus he was a half vampire... and he was a bit easy on the eyes too for a Fifth Year.
"You'd better not, but I suppose you shouldn't be called youngster either," she said playfully. "I can be content with calling you Alec. It's a nice name... even if it's not Japanese." She chuckled at this.
She then nodded about him coming over to her house before an idea sparked in her mind.
"Tell you what... why don't we ask my cousin if he's using his place?" she said. "Okay, he's not really my cousin. He's my mum's first husband's brother's son... and he's a Muggle, but he's alright and we treat one another like cousins. He tells me if he's not using his flat in London, I can borrow it as long as I don't make a mess of it." Satomi Yen's brother-in-law had moved to London some years before she and Hiromi did. He had done well in the seafood restaurant business and had helped Satomi along until she got settled into her new home and got a job.
She then scoffed as Alec spoke of how bad it was that her father would do such a thing to his mother. "It's all lies, Alec," she said. "My mother just doesn't want me to embrace that side of my family, so she made all that up to scare me away from him!" Again, this was Hiromi trying to make herself believe this.

Alec thought back to a fight he saw two Muggles having over a Football match, stupidest thing he ever saw. "I've always thought those types of activities were too rough and violent for me. Which exactly what my mother thought so she kept me away from them, but my father was and still is a HUGE Quidditch fan. I remember him trying to teach me how to play mutiple times, always ended with me falling off somehow," he laughed at the memories. Alec grinned widely as he watched her reaction to his comment on her calling him old. She says what she is thinking and isn't afraid to hold back, he liked this about her. He smiled as she complicated his name," Thank you, I really like your name and I still think its very unique."
Alec thought her idea was a fantastic one. " I would love to meet your "cousin", maybe while you're over at my house I can introduce you to one of my only childhood friends." He couldn't help but to get excited over all the plans he now had.
Alec frowned slightly when she turned everything against her mother. It sounds like she is trying to convince herself more than me, he thought as she was finishing. Alec thought it best not to ask her about at that very moment, maybe one day though.

Hiromi hardly judged him for not being good at Quidditch. The sport was better left for those who thought with something other than their brain.
"Leave the Quidditch Game to those who get their jollies from smacking a Quaffle around for a few hours, and getting themselves killed snatching a Golden Snitch," she said. "Stick with your music. You'll still be playing that while all those Quidditch Players are laying at home injured and remembering their glory years when people gave a damn about how they were."
She then shrugged when he said he still liked her name and thought it was unique.
"Fair enough," she said. "I suppose it's nice too."
Hiromi laughed a bit when he said he wanted to meet her cousin.
"Good luck with that," she said. "Usually by the time I get to his house, he's gone off to some other country and has left me the key under the mat. But he's a bit of a boring bloke anyway, being a Muggle and all. But he has a few fun Muggle toys we can play with like his video games... and he often forgets to look his liquor cabinet." Hiromi gave a devilish grin at this. "Ahem... and if this childhood friend is anything like you, I should like to meet him. I approve of you, Alec, and I wish to establish a friendship with you." Hiromi offered her hand to him, as if she wished to make said friendship official. As rude as Hiromi could be at times, she had an odd sense of observing certain forms of etiquette.

Alec's smile grew as she told him to stick to music. "I couldn't agree more, I'll always have music while Quidditch players will eventually get too old to play anymore," he laughed at the thought.
He grinned as she talked about her cousin then she talked about liquor. "I don't know about that but we'll see. And video games? Now those sound fun!," he loved the idea of learning new things.
His smile grew a lot when she talked about his friend. "Oh yes. You'll absolutely love him, he has more of a sense of humor then I do though," his friend always could make people laugh.
He was in shock at first when she asked to be his friend, but he gladly shook her extended hand. "It would be a pleasure to be your friend," he smiled at her.

Hiromi nodded. She loved when people agreed with her. It made any tension in a conversation flow away and prevented unnecessary stress and another blow up on her part. The results of have a Hiromi Yen-sized ego.
"And you'll most likely live longer," she said. "Many of the great wizard musicians live to be well over one hundred. Never heard of a Quidditch Player who lasted that long."
She smiled when he agreed to the video games. He would probably laugh at how some of the games her cousin had depicted wizards and witches. But she wouldn't go into it now. He would probably think she was making things up.
"Muggles have some strange liquors," she said. "Like this German liquor that tastes like licorice. Makes you bloody sick if you over do it. Fortunately I didn't learn that the hard way." She shuddered a bit, remembering the sounds that came from her cousin's friend in the loo that night.
Alec speaking of his friend thankfully allowed to wipe away that image.
"Well, always depends on the sense of humor," she said. "I do appreciate good wit, but could do without the more foul jokes. Though I heard one that got a rise out of me." She looked at some entering Ravenclaws, then whispered the joke in his ear. She even made a small giggle at it, something rare for her.
They shook hands and were friends.
"Excellent," she said. "So, what's it like for you to be a half-vampire? Oh, and I have some bloody candy from Honeyduke's if you'd like some."

Alec grinned as she mentioned how he would most likely live longer. "That's wonderful to know,"he smiled at her.
He was very interested in these video games. "These video games sound interesting. I look forward to finding out more about them,"he could barely contain his excitement.
He frowned slightly when she talked about liquor. "Some of this stuff sounds vile, I don't know why anyone would even try it!," he shuddered at the idea of being sick from alcohol.
He smiled again as they shook hands then Hiromi asked about being a half vampire and offered him blood candies. He answered normally," I actually didn't know I was a half vampire until I was old enough to go to school, same time I learned about being a wizard too. I found it hard at first and was frightened that I'd have to drink human blood, but I rarely have to. And as for he sun, it doesn't really bother me unless I'm outside for a long time." He looked curiously at the blood candies,"Maybe later, thanks."

Hiromi smiled and nodded when Alec said it was wonderful to know he's live longer. Alec made Hiromi smile a lot, and she was pretty okay with that. She really had nothing against smiling. It was just that most people couldn't really do anything to get her to.
She then chuckled when he spoke of liquor and why anyone would try it.
"Some is alright if you make a cocktail out of it," she said. "My cousin makes some good drinks and I think he has some of the recipes around. Those make it easier to know when to stop. I've never gotten sick off them anyway. Drink just enough of it and you get a wicked nice feeling without the after effects."
Hiromi seemed to have no qualms about telling someone she drank when she was away from the school... and her mother. Her cousin and his mates seemed so cool when they did it, so she felt cool too. The Muggle concepts of peer pressure regarding alcohol were never really explained to her.
Hiromi listened as Alec spoke of how he had taken being a half-vampire. She could relate on some points.
"I knew I was a witch from early on, but I had to get the truth out of my mum about my vampire side when I started to suspect things," she said. "I don't think I need human blood to survive, but I do get mad cravings at times. The blood candy really helps." Hiromi popped a piece in her mouth.

Alec became slowly more interested in this stuff known as liquor. "I'm looking forward to his liquor stuff more and more," he told Hiromi eagerly. It sounded like a fun but slightly scary experience.
He nodded as he listened to her story and stared at her as she talked about human blood. "Whenever I crave blood I've found that animal blood helps a bit," he told he. As much as he hated hurting animals he hated hurting people more.

Hiromi gave a wicked smirk. This was going to be a lot of fun and now she couldn't wait for the school year to end. And while she didn't tell Alec, she actually wouldn't mind if the drinking led to some casual snogging. Alec was really cute. And he was a half-vampire to boot.
"I won't let you get sick," she promised. "I'll show you the stuff can treats you right." She gave him a little wink at this.
She didn't blame Alec for not wanting to drink human blood. She had never drained so much for one that she killed that person. She made them a little exhausted from blood loss at the most. And a lot of times she only attacked people she felt deserved it. The bad things is, anyone who crossed her "deserved it".
"Animal blood's nice enough," she said. "But it doesn't have that sweetness that human blood does. But don't worry. I've never really harmed anyone by doing it. The last thing I want on my conscience is a dead body. I also want to stay the bloody hell out of Azkaban."
Despite her thinking of snogging with him while they were drunk, Hiromi felt a guy as handsome as Alec was probably dating someone. Still, she had to ask out of curiosity. She felt that if anyone was worthy of dating her, it was a half-vampire Ravenclaw with artistic talent.
"So... Alec... are you currently dating anyone?" she said. "If not, I was wondering if you'd like to join me in Hogsmeade tomorrow."

Alec gae her a huge smile. "Thanks, it's good to know I'll have somebody there to keep me from getting sick," he was glad to know that he could experience alcohol without getting drunk.
He nodded when she talked about blood. "I've rarely tasted human blood before, but it's good to know you've never hurt anyone. I don't think I could live with myself I I'd hurt anyone," he looked towards the window as he spoke.
When he turned back towards her she was askin him if he was dating anyone. He was slightly suprised at the sudden question but decided to answer it anyway. He gouging for a moment, "I've had a few crushes while I've been here, but it seems no girl has the courage or interest to ask me out." He smiled when she asked him if he'd like to go with her. "I would be delighted to go with you," he gave her a sparkly smile.

Hiromi noticed that Alec had a great smile too. The more she was around him, the more attracted she became to him. She could care less than he was a year younger than her, and could care less if anyone else said anything of it. Besides, most people knew better than to question Hiromi about anything.
"We're going to have a wicked time," she said. She REALLY couldn't wait for the Summer Holidays now!
Hiromi wasn't exactly telling the truth. She had never SERIOUSLY harmed anyone by draining their blood. That part was true. But there were some who crossed her the wrong way, and paid for her with a bit of pain and dizziness, just enough to let them know never to cross her again.
"Well, no one says you have to," she said. "Besides, it's easy to get blood in the bag these days. Hell, there are those who cater to half-vampires." Though bagged human blood was still not as good as taking it fresh, but Hiromi wouldn't go one about that.
When Alec accepted, Hiromi formed another smile. She practically considered him her boyfriend at the moment. It was odd in a way, having one again. But odd certainly did not be bad.
"Excellent," she said. "We'll have lunch and then do a bit of shopping. Plus I know of some places in Hogsmeade that few others know about." And by this, she meant private places. She then stopped talking and looked at Alec. The next thing she knew, she was leaning in to kiss him. She really hoped he would return it because if not, it would be awkward.

Alec's smile grew. This summer's gonna be awesome,he thought, it's been so long since I've made a friend. He only had a couple here, most were Gryffindors an hufflepuffs.
Alec got nervous when he started leaning in to kiss him. He didn't know if he should kiss back or not. He kissed her back quickly then broke away. He blushed as he gathered his books, he looked down as he spoke. "I-il-I'll t-talk to yo-you later th-then," he stuttered badly as he ran back up to his dorm. He was blushing like crazy, he rarely kissed people ever.

Well, Hiromi hated to admit when she was wrong, and she was wrong on this one. It was a shame. Alec seemed to have so many good traits about him- his looks, his seemingly intellectual personality, the fact that he was a half vampire as well... and then he freaked out over a little snogging. It was awkward, and turned out to be embarrassing to as two girls over in a corner laughed at the scene. They stopped when Hiromi gave them a sharp glare.
"Oh piss off!" she said. She then grabbed her books and candy and headed out of the Common Room. She no longer wanted to be there or Ravenclaw Tower in general, at least not until she had to return. Now stressed and angry, she popped another piece of blood candy in her mouth. However, not even that helped. The more she thought on it, the angrier she became. This Alec had gone from a friend, possibly a boyfriend, to an enemy. Who would want to date some boy who acted like a bleeding five year old wishing to avoid "witch pox" when a girl tried to give him a simple, little kiss. And furthermore... nobody showed up Hiromi Doji Yen like that! Nobody!
