HISTORY: It was a mistake from the start of this marriage. Tracy and Gregory were naive adults after Hogwarts. She believed that he changed and Gregory had believed he haD well. At the start of the relationship, it was smooth with rare road bumps along the road. When they chose to get married, it was the beginning of a new story. A story that starts as a joyful, happy wedding but in the end, it comes to be a signing of a divorce. Before the divorce, Tracy gave birth to her first son, River. About a year later came the twins Audree and Ezra. Then the finally, about two years after the twins, Varick. This was the time where Gregory turned on his responsibility. Every night after the birth was a argument how they were going to take care of the kids and other parental concerns. Then it turned to yelling and soon violence. After that, when Ezra was three, his father was no longer a part of his life because Tracy quickly moved the kids out to their grandparents.
After that, Ezra became very quiet. Rarely did he speak, and was normally found reading a book in a different room. Ezra soon changed to become a impassive child. At first it was normal because of the separation, but it soon became worrisome. He barely smiled to his mother or any of his family members and normally was found reading in his room. Occasionally he would come out of his room to watch the quidditch games but most of his time was spent in his room. At first, Tracy thought it was some disorder but the doctors all said to give it time. On his birthday his father came to celebrate by giving him money, which let Ezra smile again. After seeing his father, he became hopeful but after he left, he lost hope once again. It brought him back to his old life in his room.
Every birthday delivered was a gift of less hope and soon, he came to realize that it was never going to happen. Near his tenth birthday, Gregory never came. It was the last time he saw his father but money was still owled out to the doorstep. Ezra knew his father was never coming back, which lead him to creep into his shell further. He tried to show a smile once in a while to keep his mother from worrying about him. When River left, it gave Ezra a chance to move into his room and stray from his old room which was shared with Audree.
In about a year, he and Audree were owled their acceptance letters to Hogwarts. It was an award as their mother said. When they arrived, his sister was first sorted into slytherin like his brother. He expected that he would be the same as every Goyle was, but he was different. After some pondering, he was sorted into ravenclaw. Was it a privilege to be sorted into a house not made for you? Of course not, but he had no objections. Ezra was commonly found with his sister but usually she ditched him for her slytherin mates. It left Ezra alone because most of the ravenclaw students thought he was a mistake. In reality, he had the traits of a ravenclaw. Intelligent, studious, independent, and not to mention talented. It took a few years before he trusted a few of his new friends due to his name. Now, it's a different story. Ezra is very clever and isn't as impassive as he was before. He has crawled out of his turtle shell a bit and has decided to make new friends around Hogwarts. He still believes that purebloods are dominate over other breeds but he can respect their company as wizards and witches are supposed to be equal. Goyles on the other hand believe purebloods will always be above other breeds, even if we are supposed to act equal.
