HISTORY:
Born on January 23, 2005 to Melissa and Peter Foster, Noel is their oldest child. He was born in London, a year after Peter convinced Melissa to move from America with him. Melissa is an American half-blooded witch, having attended Salem when she was a girl. Noel was supposed to be due in the beginning of 2005, but the birth was delayed
until almost halfway through January. Renee was born two years later, followed by Sam and Alyssa. Noel easily took the role of big brother, becoming protective especially of his youngest brother and sister.
Noel's father insisted on him and his siblings being schooled at home, as he didn't want them going to muggle schools. Noel's mother taught him all his academic classes, and he learned to play piano and guitar from her.
Noel was fully aware that he was a wizard; his father made sure he knew what Hogwarts was and as his eleventh birthday rolled around, he couldn't wait for his letter to come.
The hardest part though, was leaving his sisters and brother. Renee was openly jealous, even though she was only nine and the other two were too young to care. Noel's father bought a Russian blue kitten named Azure for him as a gift and so he'd have a companion. On the train to Hogwarts for the first time, Noel met a boy named Dean Owens and they quickly became friends. At that point Noel wasn't sure what house he wanted to be in, but he was sure since most of his family was either Slytherin or Ravenclaw he'd end up there. His sister Renee was put into Slytherin, but the two are closer than ever. Noel is the only Foster son ever put into Gryffindor.
The hat surprised him by saying he'd fit better in Gryffindor, but he was happy with it when Dean was sorted into the same house. It was easy for them to get along with each other. Noel's first three years went by smoothly, and he and Dean became closer. It wasn't until he was fifteen that Noel realized he was gay and that his love for Dean was more than friendship. He admitted it to the other boy just before Christmas break that year (with some rather forceful prodding from Renee), they started dating and the rest was history. He excelled in Transfiguration and DADA particularly, but still has trouble with Potions.
Noel's mother and siblings accepted Noel and Dean right away, but his father, the man he used to idolize and look up to, didn't accept him being gay. Noel's stopped trying to get his father to do so, and it's strained now to the point where they don't speak to each other unless forced to. He's still very close to his sisters and brother, and is very protective of them. He's very easy to befriend, and gets along with just about anyone. He's not easily angered, but won't stand for his loved ones being hurt.
