Won't you Fly with me?
Ginny knew that this was a Hogsmead weekend and that was the main reason that she decided to apperate to Hogsmead that day. She hadn’t gotten a chance to see her children or her nieces and nephews since Christmas holiday and she missed them all. She was close with her three children, James, Albus and Lily, and she was close with a good handful of her nieces and nephews. She wasn’t sure who she was going to run into on that March day, but she stuffed her hands in her pockets and walked into Honeydukes, the candy store, none the less. The sight of all the colors and the shelves lined with candies and sweets mixed with the smell of the sugar to bring back so many memories from her school days. She had been in here with Harry a few times. And with Hermione and Luna and her brothers of course. And now, it was her kids who got to enjoy this place, and the rest of the shops on the snow covered strip that brought back memories. Some of which, she thought best not to review.
Ginny picked up a few chocolate frogs and a pack of every flavored bean so she could bring them home and surprise Harry tonight. She knew that he had been busy with work for the last few months and that it had all been stressing him out. She figured that anything she could do to take some of that stress off of him, even for a little bit of time would be worth it. After she paid for her sweets and put them into her pocket, she walked back out and looked all around her, taking in all of the old sites and contemplating where to go next.

Hagrid saw a lot of folks he knew in Hogsmeade. The half-giant was in his nineties after all. He had seen generation after generation walk about the place. As he walked, he greeted several in his usual polite way. He was on his way to the Magic Neep to pick up a few dinner items. But as nice as it was to see the folks he often saw, it did his heart good to run across someone he had not seen in a good while. Hagrid of course had a special place in his heart for Harry, Herimone, and Ron, but a young Ginny Weasley also earned a place in the same area as well. He had many fond memories of her, from her days as a first year to standing there and watching her become a Potter at the wedding to visiting her when she became a mother, and then when she became a mother again, and yet again. However, he had not seen her in some time and when he spotted her around Honeydukes, a big smile formed under his beard. "Well as I live and breath, if it ain't our Ms. Ginny... or Mrs. I should say," he said with a laugh. "Sometimes this old fellow forgets you ain't the little freckled lass that you once was." He extended his arms for a hug. He knew in Ginny's case, she didn't have to ask for one or any nonsense like that. The Potters and the Weasleys were always as close as family in his mind. Won't you Fly with me?
Ginny knew that Hagrid, their old, beloved grounds keeper and care of magical creatures teacher had gotten very old, but was still doing very well. Ginny had loved the subject that he taught when she was in school, and she was good at it too. She would have continued to take it if she had room for it. Most others hated the class, including her husband and his two best friends, despite Hagrid being the teacher, it was just too dangerous and too much work for some of them. Ginny was never one of those people. She was up for a challenge and hard work. Hagrid had been a better, more loyal friend to her and her family than she ever could have asked for. He led her across the black lake as an 11 year old girl; he almost died protecting her husband; he danced at their wedding; and he came to visit her and the babies each time that she had a new one. He was part of the family, everyone knew that.
For being as old as he was, Hagrid still looked like the same man that he had always been, with just the addition of a few more wrinkles around his eyes. “I’ve been a Mrs. for quite some time now.” She smiled and nodded. “How are you? What brings you to Hogsmead?” she asked her longtime friend and gave him a hug when he opened his arms, it was how they always greeted each other, Ginny loved Hagrid, he had always been like an uncle to her. He was one of the people who she felt she owed a debt for saving the life of her beloved husband and thus ensuring the safety of her beloved family.

(Sorry I missed this one. Will keep a sharper look out.) Hagrid gave Ginny a big enough hug not to crush the smaller woman, chuckling happily at the reunion. "'Course you have," he said when she spoke of be a Mrs for some time. "Remember I was there when you became Mrs. Potter. Right lovely weddin' that was with a handsome groom and one of the prettiest brides I think ever laid eyes on."Hagrid then shrugged when Ginny asked him how he was. "Much the same, much the same," he said. "Just enjoyin' what remainin' years I've been blessed with. When you become an old loon like me, you begin to appreciate all that more." Hagrid chuckled again. Ginny then asked what he was doing in Hogsmeade. "Oh, just some usual shoppin' at the Magic Neep," he said. "Gettin' a few items for dinner. As you very well know, I have quite the appetites." This comment got more than a chuckle from the always good-natured Hagrid as he patted his large belly. "So how's our Mr. Potter? I haven't seen him in a good long while, but it's been nice spendin' time with your children over at Hogwarts. Takes me back to the old days, it does."A cloud then darkened overhead and thunder was heard. "Looks like we're in for another Spring shower," he said. "Best you and I get out of this and right quick." He then beamed a bit at Ginny. "What say I treat you to a Butterbeer or two at the Three Broomsticks. We can have a more proper chat in there."GINEVRA MOLLY POTTER
