HISTORY:
Relina was raised in a truly elitist family in Godric's Hollow. Her parents taught her about power, manipulation, control and bigotry – lessons she promptly turned around and ignored when she was seven, and which she continues to enjoy ignoring to this day. She grew up close with her younger brother, as siblings often do when there's very little gap between them, and the fact that he took their parents' views to heart is a source of some pain to her. Luckily, her nature does not allow her to be cut too deeply, and she continues to hope that one day he will relax his opinions. Unlike her brother, she played with the other children in Godric's Hollow indiscriminately, and as such has developed her social skills to the point that she can charm almost anyone, skills she has not always put to good use. In her first year, she managed to avoid doing any homework for Potions, which she loathed, purely by persuading her professor she had done it without ever actually producing it. As a result, she nearly had to repeat her first year, but furious tutoring from an older student managed to save her by the skin of her teeth, and since then she has developed a healthy respect for hard work and honesty, though she still avoids both like the plague when at all possible.
In her third year, she decided she wanted to be a healer, and so she grudgingly started applying herself to the necessary subjects, even the dreaded Potions, and managed to find some good aspects in it. In her sixth year, she is proficient, though the love-hate relationship endures.
She made friends steadily throughout her six years at Hogwarts, to the point that she now relishes occasional opportunities to keep her own company. Only her brother and a select handful of her closest friends are welcome to be around her in these situations.
