Viona was one of those girls that it was hard not to love unless you were one who was a bit incapable of showing love. She was sweet, adorable, a good student, and always very helpful. Since she had some time after Potions class, she offered to help clean up and put books and other items away. Many of the students rushed out and didn't do so. Some didn't do it because they had to get to another class in a short time. Others didn't do it because they were just lazy and a tad disrespectful. Viona didn't like the idea of Professor Bennett having to do all that work herself. She found Professor Bennett to be very nice, and very intelligent as well. She loved the classes with her. She loved being able to do new things with potions. The class made her want to get a young wizard's and witch's potion starter kit to practice with when she got home. After Viona did her cleaning, she walked over to Professor Bennett and smiled. "I placed all the vials back in their proper cabinet, collected all the loose textbooks, and stacked all the quizzes from your other class in alphabetical order so that you can just hand them out as you call role tomorrow," she said in her sweet little Scottish accent. "If there is anything else you need, Professor Bennett, it would be me pleasure to help." She then noticed someone had left a small cauldron behind. She quickly took it and placed it in the Lost and Found cupboard, then stepped back and smiled at the professor again. ANNABETH ELYSE BENNETT

Annabeth Bennett, resident Potions Professor, walked into her office after class ended to do a couple things before she tackled the mess that would be left in the classroom once all the students had left. They always happened to keep it quite messy, not really caring that it would be nice if they kept things in order and put the supplies back. Of course, they also weren't aware of the borderline OCD their professor had about things being in order. But no matter, she would just straighten it up once all her students had headed out.
Assuming that everyone had left, Anna left her office to a clean classroom and a student walking her way. It was Viona Zephyr, easily one of the sweetest students she had ever met. This wasn't the first time the young girl had helped out after class. Smiling warmly she crossed to the front of her classroom desk, before leaning on it. "Thank you for your help dear. You don't know how much I appreciate it."
A moment later, the girl noticed something she had forgotten and put it away. Anna's eyes followed her and she let out a soft laugh. "I could have gotten that, but again, thank you." She stood up straight now, walking closer to the student and placing a soft hand on her shoulder. "I don't need anymore help, but tell me Viona, how have you been doing?" She removed her hand, allowing it to drop back to her side as she waited for the girls reply. Anna cared deeply for her students. Even the ones that gave her grief received concern from the Professor. She never hated anyone, unless they gave her reason to, and students received different treatment from her than adults did. Yes, they were old enough to understand, but she also realized they were young and the Hogwarts years could be tough. Not every student was compassionate and understanding.

Viona beamed when Professor Bennett thanked her. Viona was very unselfish, and a kind thank you from someone she helped was more than enough payment for what she did. She loved to help people, and it was nice to be appreciated. "You're very welcome, Professor," she said. "I like helping you out. You're one of me favorite teachers here." Viona had a few favorite professors at Hogwarts, and she loved the Head Mistress too. Each one had qualities that made them likable. For Professor Bennett, it was the fact that she was so kind and made classes so fun. When the Professor said that she could have gotten the cauldron, Viona chuckled a little. "Oh, I don't mind," she said. "I just hope the student who left it behind finds it. A good replacement cauldron is a wee bit expensive this days. Me dad buys me two each year before school began just in case something happens to one of them." She then smiled when the Professor asked her how she was. "I'm very well, thank you for asking Professor," she said. "Would you like a Pixie Wish? Me dad sent me some with my usual care package. They're me favorite candy. I like them because they're not as sweet as a lot of candies." Viona then extended her hand with the bag of hard fruit candy (think Jolly Ranchers) to offer the Professor one. Viona then showed the same concern for Bennett as the teacher had shown her. "Are you well, Professor?" she asked. "I hope getting all the exams prepared isn't stressful." ANNABETH ELYSE BENNETT

Annabeth kept her warm smile for the girl, happy with what she was hearing and proud of the girl that was standing before her. The young Gryffindor's parents had to have done something right with this girl because she was one of the most unselfish and kind girls she had ever met in her four years there at Hogwarts. Anna loved all of her students, even the few that were a pain, but there were those that made her job a lot easier and there were ones that she enjoyed the company of. Anna tried not to play favorites, but in a school of witch and wizards where some were really dark and some where pure light, it was hard not to. And this girl before her was probably one of the purest around.
"Thank you dear. It's nice to hear every once in a while that I'm liked by my students." She told the girl happily. Anna loved to hear that she was liked and even more so that she was good at what she did. She wasn't conceited and she wasn't a narcissist. Anna just felt better when she knew she was doing everything right. All she wanted to do was be a good teacher and help the students understand exactly what they were learning. She didn't care about the respect as long as her students walked away with something important from her class.
A soft laugh escaped the professors lips as the young girl talked about the lost cauldren. "Yes, they can be pretty expensive. I remember buying my own before I came here. Cost my mum an arm and a leg for everything I had to get for this school. But the best part, is knowing it's going to a good education and something great." Her eyes were sincere as she spoke with the girl, her soft smile still in place. "Just remember Viona, as long as you have a good heart and a good head on your shoulders, this school will do wonders for you."
Shifting back to her desk, she pulled herself up onto it to sit down, showing she was very relaxed with the company of the girl in front of her. "I am very glad to hear you are doing well dear. And no, save them for yourself. Thank you for the offer though. I appreciate it greatly. And I am doing well too. They're a bit stressful, but it's nothing I can't handle."

Viona didn't know why a lot of other students didn't say nice things to the Professor. She deserved any compliment one could give her. She could only guess that it was because a lot of students weren't as openly verbal about how much they liked people or things liked Viona did. She hoped it was that and not a case where people thought poorly of Bennett. How could someone think such a thing. Viona decided not to dwell on that. "I like telling you how much I like you because it makes you smile, and you have a very pretty smile, Professor," she said. "It makes me glow when I see it." Viona nodded in agreement when the Professor said that expensive things were worth it when they had REAL value. Viona earned pocket money when she was at home for helping around the house and her father's bakery. She spent a little on it on candy now and then, but used the rest for things that were beneficial to her. She then smiled when the Professor told her she would do well with a good head and good heart. "I try me best, Professor," she said. Viona didn't mind sharing her candy at all. In fact, she bought a little more so she could share. But perhaps the Professor didn't like Pixie Wishes and was just being nice about it. Viona was glad to then hear that Bennett could handle the exams. "I'm all ready for your exam," she said. "Potions is one of me favorite subjects to study for, along with History of Magic. I plan on taking your class for Fifth Years next year. I'm very excited." ANNABETH ELYSE BENNETT

Annabeth's heart warmed at her student's comment. She always liked to hear nice things from her students because it helped her realize that she was indeed a good teacher and liked by her students. Well, at least some of them. Anna had always had a soft spot for the young girl standing before her though. She was a sweet girl and deserved the best. She could tell that the girl was raised right and must have some pretty great parents. "Thank you so much for the compliment Viona. You don't know how much that means to me." She told her student, a smile still plastered on her lips. It was days like this or students like Viona that kept her teaching.
One of Anna's main goals as a professor, other than making sure the students actually learned something, was to have a bond with her students. It made things so much easier and it was a nice thing to have. Of course, Annabeth was the type to feel motherly over her students anyway. Nodding at the girl, she smiled warmly. "Well as long as you're trying your best, that's all you can do. Keep it up dear. You're a bright student and such a beautiful girl. Don't let anyone ever tell you different."
Anna smiled once again at the girls comment. "I am very glad to hear that and you are always welcome in my classroom dear, even when I am no longer your professor." Anna truly meant her words. She adored Viona, as well as other students. She'd love to have visits from them when they no longer sat in her classroom as her students.

Just as Bennett enjoyed compliments, so did Viona, When the Professor called her a bright student and a beautiful girl, Viona stepped over and hugged her. "Thank you, Professor," she said. "And I won't. If you think I'm pretty and smart, then I know it's true." After releasing the hug, Viona smiled as the Professor said she was always welcomed in the classroom. Viona loved to come by and visit her favorite Professors. Mynk wasn't even teaching her and she had come to befriend the Divination Professor, and dropped by to say hello often. Viona knew some of the other students thought less of her for being so nice to the Professors, but Viona didn't care. She was raised by Alpin and Donalda Zephyr to be loving and respectful to adults. And speaking of Alpin Zephyr... "Do you go to Diagon Alley a lot, Professor?" asked Viona. "I think I told you this, but me dad owns a bakery there. He's really nice, and I bet if you come in and visit over the summer holidays, he'll let you have any item you want for free. He does that when he finds out a customer is a good friend of mine." Feeling the girls arms wrap around her waist, Anna's lips turned upright into a soft smile, her own arms embracing the young girl. She couldn't believe how sweet this girl was, and it made her happy to know that she made an impact on a student. That's all she ever wanted to do as a professor. Along with making sure her students comprehended the material. "You're very welcome Viona and it is, even if I hadn't have said it at all. I'm sure plenty of people believe it as well."
After the girl released the hug, she asked Anna about Diagon Alley and if she went there a lot. "Well, I go when I can. So, a decent amount I suppose." She then listened to the girl talk about her father and the bakery he owned. Anna remembered in the past how she brought it up a couple times. In fact, Anna felt as thought she might have gone in there before without realizing who the man was. "Oh, yes, I remember you telling me about that!" She told the girl. "And thank you, that would be lovely, but I would pay regardless. I'm sure your father deserves every penny. Especially raising such a sweet girl as yourself. Your parents have done a marvelous job."
Anna smiled once more to her student and then looked at the clock upon her wall. Looking to Viona, she cocked her head a bit questioningly. "Do you have any classes after mine Viona?" She asked her curiously. If she did, she didn't want the girl to be late, which she probably was already from helping out and then them talking. "I don't want your professor to be angry with you if you're late."

Viona blushed again at the compliment. Professor Bennett definitely stood out from her other teachers. Most of them were nice to her too, but she felt she and Bennett had a special bond. She was very happy to hear that the Professor would drop by the bakery. That way they could see each other during the summer. She then had another idea. "Maybe when you come by, you can come over to me house for tea or for dinner one night," she said. "We don't live far from Diagon Alley at all. And you can see all me animal friends. We have quite a few of them. And me mum and dad would love to meet you. I told them about how wonderful you were in me owls to them." Viona looked at the clock too. She wouldn't be late for her next class, but it was probably best to go and let the Professor get back to her grading and all that before her next class. "I should be on me way," she sighed. "But it was lovely talking to you as always, Professor." She gave Bennett one final hug before grabbing her things and heading out the door. "Have a wonderful day, Professor Bennett."
