Welcome Ms. Llyod! How are you today?
"Doing quite well actually. How about yourself?"
Oh, I'm doing just fine. So, I've asked you here for an interview. How about we start with your full name and all the little basics?
"That sounds just peachy!" Lyanna shifted herself so that she would be comfortable. She wasn't particularly fond of interviews such as this, but she didn't mind them either. "First off, you must excuse the fact I move around a lot. It's hard for me to sit still. I like to be active, you know? I can't stand sitting on my bum for too long. Even classes are hard for me and I love to learn. Anyway, my full name is Lyanna Abigail Llyod and I was born on a lovely August twentieth. My friends and family call me different nicknames like; Lya, Ly, Anna, and the ever famous Liar which comes from my idiot brother Chaunce. He's a jerk. I hope you never have to meet him. Continuing on, I'm in my sixth year at Hogwarts and I'm a Ravenclaw. I am also sixteen years old. Being born in August kind of sets my age back a bit. So, I'll probably graduate at seventeen instead of eighteen like most."
Very interesting. Now you said you call your brother an idiot? Why don't we focus on that.
"On my brother being an idiot? Okay!" Lya laughs along with the interviewer who is shaking his head.
No, I was going to say we should talk about your family. Tell me about them. Are you close or what?
"I would say we're pretty darn close. After all, there are eight of us." She paused for a moment as she studied the interviewer's reaction. Smiling, she continued. "Yes, I said eight. My parents and then six children, including myself. I was almost the baby, until my younger brother came along. Such a jerk to mess that up for me!" Lyanna laughed as she shifted a bit, once again getting comfortable. She truly hoped they wouldn't be there long. She hated sitting around for long periods of time, as she mentioned before. "I'm just messing with you though! I love my younger brother, as well as the four older brothers I have. I am the only girl out of six kids. But that's completely alright! I love it to be honest. Sure, as a kid they would mess with me. I was an easy target, but I learned how to stick up for myself and I'm proud to say I could probably kick someone's a... I mean, butt if I needed to. Don't be deceived by my fragile girly appearance. I can take a punch just as much as I can dish one out." Lyanna smirked at the interviewer. He was probably wondering how an average one hundred and fifteen pound sixteen year old could take on anyone, but it was possible all thanks to her brothers. They toughened her up. She only wished they realized that though, seeing as they still try to protect her like she's the baby instead of Colton. Even Colton is protective!
"Anyway, my parents split about tow years ago. I'm still close to both of them even if it did anger me to no end." A frown took hold of Lyanna's once smiling lips. She hated thinking about her parent's divorce. Letting out a sigh, she decided to continue. "I ended up staying with my mum. That's where Colton was, and I was the closest to him. He was probably my best friend as a child, even though he stole my spotlight as the baby of the family! I still visited my dad often though and I write to him too. I just had to choose where I actually lived. You know, that permanent address you have to tell every person of importance? Yeah. But like I said, I love them all. And just for record, I guess I should tell you who they all are. I'll start from oldest and go to youngest. There's Marvin who is the History of Magic Professor at Hogwarts. Then there's Daniel, which I can't recall what he does at the moment. My brain must be dysfunctioning I think! Then there is Lanchester who is the Trasfiguration Professor. After him is Charunce. He's the idiot brother I mentioned earlier. He's a seventh year Ravenclaw, about to graduate. And last is Colton who is younger than I by a year. He's a fifth year Ravenclaw, about to be sixth. So yeah, that's my family!"
Wow, that's a big family you got there. Let's shift gears a bit. What are some hobbies you're into? What do you, Lyanna Llyod, like to do for fun?
Lyanna gave the interviewer one of her biggest smiles. "I love love love to torment my brothers! Really, you should try it some time. So much fun. Even the brothers that are professors. It's always fun to wreak havoc in their class." Laughing, she shook her head. "I'm only messing with you again! You really shouldn't take me so seriously! I mean, I do like to mess with my siblings, but it's not my hobby. Are you ready for this? Prepare to be shocked." Crossing one leg over the other, she leaned forward just a bit for dramatic effect. "I love to sing." She then sat back with a smile. "Yup, you heard me right. I love music ad singing is one of my things. I'm in the choir too. I also play the piano and a bit of guitar. Acoustic is my favorite. Aside from that, I love quidditch. I'm a beater on the Ravenclaw team. So yeah, I have my soft side and my tough side. There's nothing like a good scuffle on the pit. Honestly though, I want to be a professional quidditch player when I graduate. I'm not too sure what team yet, but I will do it. I can do anything I set my mind to, right? I guess it's whoever wants me. And if no one does, well then I'll just take up something in the ministry dealing with the sport. Or perhaps I can sing professionally. What do you think?"
Well, you certainly have a lot of options going for you. Now lets shift once again. Tell us about your love life. Anything interesting? Maybe a heartbreak or so?
Lyanna raised an eyebrow at the man. How could a heartbreak be interesting. Of course, she had endured one. One main one that still stuck with her sometimes. After all, it had only happened that year. Her face completely blank, she tucked some hair behind her ear nervously. "Well, I am single as of right now and I'm heterosexual too. Boys are my thing. Sorry to the lovely ladies. Anyway, I have had my heart broken once. I started dating a boy at the end of last year. We were going strong you know? He was loving and cared for me like he should. I could tell he wanted more from me though. So, when I thought I was ready, I put out." She paused for a moment, looking down at her lap. That boy wasn't an easy topic for her. In fact, she was sure she was about to cry, but she couldn't. Not in front of some stranger. "You see, I thought he loved me, so I wanted to make him happy. This was somewhere close to the middle of this year. I guess it wasn't enough though because he broke up with me the day after." She could feel her eyes watering, but she continued to hold it back. "I might be a strong person, but sometimes I can't be that strong. It hurt me for a while. I couldn't eat or sleep. Everything was going wrong. I thought I loved him, and he left me after I gave him literally everything." Pausing again, she looked up at the interviewer, a couple tears finally falling from her eyes. However, it didn't take her long to wipe them away. "I never told my brothers. I just didn't want the drama to be any bigger than what it already was. And I didn't want them getting in trouble for me. I knew if they found out, they would do something about it. Especially Colton and Chaunce. They were still students. They could find him easily. Marvin and Lanchester were professors. They couldn't do anything about it unless they wanted to get fired. So I thought it best to keep it to myself. I am an optimistic person and I am truly happy again, but sometimes it's hard. I'll start thinking about it when I'm alone and I'll just break down all over again. I can never get that part of me back. Never."
I am so sorry to hear that. That boy is a jerk and you deserve much better anyway! Now, let's get off this depressing topic shall we? I think this will be the last question and it's a really quick one! Do you have any noticeable marks, like piercings or tattoos?
After wiping away her tears, Lyanna put on a weak smile in order to continue. She didn't want to finish off in a bad mood. "Actually, yes." She laughs softly. "I have one tattoo on the back of my neck that can be covered up easily by my long hair. It's a feather with the word free. As for piercings, just my ears."
Nice! Well thank you for coming out and talking to me! It was a pleasure getting to know you!
"Same to you." She said before standing and shaking his hand, leaving afterward.
"Doing quite well actually. How about yourself?"
Oh, I'm doing just fine. So, I've asked you here for an interview. How about we start with your full name and all the little basics?
