Leyshell was excited but she refused to show it as she walked down the darkened streets of knocktern alley. He cloak was long and black shielding her face from view and people moved out of her way. It had to be the way she carried herself with importance or the fact that a lot of cowards hung around the alley. Of course she could care less as long as none of them stopped her she was on a mission, to learn everything she could about the dark arts. She held a book in her hand, one that had helped her unleash the ghouls on the school. She was grateful for the loan but she wouldn't outright express it, probably just slip him some extra galleons she knew he wouldn't tell her if she add more than necessary to he pile. Dathan had been surprisingly helpful on her path her darkness and now he was going to teacher her the three most important things a dark witch should know.
If she was being honest with herself, find the Entrails expelling curse was great and all but it was a bit messy. Of course she wouldn't dare say why or how she knew the curse or the out come of it. It was a handy spell to have in your arsenal when dueling anybody, plus a great way to off somebody...that combined with the blood boiling curse. She internally winced at her cruelness even if a small part of her brain was telling her she was wrong a bigger part of her brain was telling her that darkness felt so good. She finally came upon her favorite shop and let herself in, her hair broke free of the hood as she pulled it off.
"How are you this evening Dathan?"

Dathan had to admit it. Despite his loathing for children and teens, he had grown fond of Leyshell. She had a wickedness in her that reminded him of a younger version of himself. She shared his interest in the Dark Arts, and he was fascinated with the idea of mentoring her. Dathan was looking over some stock when Leyshell came in. Meanwhile, his wolf Eligos was sniffing for rats. The shop had recently had a problem with them, and so far the canine had done a decent job of finding and killing them, though he did tell Dathan that they didn't make for a very pleasant meal. Dathan turned and looked at Leyshell for a moment, then went back to his work. "Fleeing with Hogwarts again, are we, Leyshell?" he asked. "I wonder how much longer you'll be able to keep this a secret from your father. Just because I'm not telling him doesn't mean he isn't going to find out."
The wolf then walked in and eyed Leyshell until he sniffed and remembered she was a welcomed guest in the shop. He then paid her no mind and returned to his duty. Dathan then turned and finally approached the girl "Very well then," he said. "I assume you are here to continue your lessons?"LEYSHELL NICOLE CONNER

Leyshell snorted at he weird way of showing concern before shrugging it off, she made sure to cover her tracks. She bribed the barkeep at the hogs head for floo use and flowed directly into Knocktern alley using short cuts and passageways together. Unless one of her dorm mates rated her out she would be fine…they would do no such thing.
“I’m satisfied with the amount of precautions I take, there are no snitches in Slytherins and I bribe the hogshead barkeep to use his floo connection. You’d be surprised what a couple of bottle of vintage wine would do for that mans business. If anything my father would think I’m an alcoholic”
She replied with confidence when he asked her about the lesson, she almost forgot the book in her hand in her heavily shielded excitement. She carefully held out the book to Dathan being sure not to drop it, the stuff she learned from the book was wonderful.
“This little baby caused a lot of mayhem at my school this year, so thanks” she said with a nodded and placed a bag of coin on the counter, she was if nothing an honest business women when it was warranted.
“As a matter of fact I am ready for the lesson, my favorite part of the week of actually”
Her glinted with a predatorily gleam, she wondered what she would be learning.

Dathan nodded. The reason for Leyshell's confidence that her father wouldn't find out was good enough for now. "I have to be cautious as well in what I am doing for you," she said. "I have a lot going on outside of my duties with this shop, and I don't need the inconvenience of an angry parent slowing that down."Dathan then smirked as Leyshell spoke of her father thinking she might an alcoholic. At the same time, he was pouring them both a glass of firewhiskey. He had come to enjoy the drink ever since his recent meeting with the Dark Lady. "Can't imagine why your father would think that about you," he said, handing her the glass. Dathan looked over the book and nodded. "I'm sure it did, but books only tell you so much," he said. "The best learned spells are the ones outside of them"When Leyshell was ready to begin the lesson, Dathan looked about. He saw two rats in the corner sniffing for food. Eligos was about to go for them when Dathan stopped him. "Eligos, down," he said. The wolf listened and backed away. He then looked at Leyshell. "Today, you perform the spells your instructors at Hogwarts fear to teach you. The three unforgivable ones. Now, wand at the ready. I'll show you on my rat and then you follow suit on yours."He then aimed the wand at his rat. "Imperio!" he chanted, and had the rat doing as he wanted it to, running about the room in circles. Leyshell nodded, she wouldn’t protest and say that her plan was fool proof, they were both in a compromising position and she knew it.
“You need not fear but just to be sure ill take a few extra precautions”
She could only nodded one in agreement with his statement, she knew first hand that some dark spells needed to practices over and over again to master them, it was one of the reason she loved coming to Knocktern alley. No-one would think anything of a dark spell coming from Knocktern alley not even if it was the killing curse. She listen to what Dathan said her next lesson would be and her eyes positively gleamed with happiness. She only wished her dad was that cool, he wouldn’t want her to sully her soul with such nonsense but she was ready.
Leyshell watched in thinly veiled awe as Dathan preformed the imperious curse with ease, she on the other hand to practice as she missed it the first and second time. Taking a deep breath and exhaling she whispered a quiet “Imperio” and smiled happily as she made the mice do flips and twirls.
The thrill and adrenaline rush her magic sent her as she preformed the magic was pure ecstasy, she heard people getting off on dark magic but she didn’t know it would feel this awesome.
“So, what’s next?”
She asked tilting her head to the side, she wanted to tell him he was like the awesome uncle she always wanted. The really creepy one that someone’s mother wouldn’t like to invite for dinner but feel obligate to, however she kept that to herself.

Dathan sipped his drink as he watched Leyshell do her work. He loved how she spoke the incantation quietly. It seemed more sinister that way. She had the mouse doing tricks, and impressive ones too. Who knew, perhaps if she were to join the Black Army, she could use the curse to train more terrifying beasts. "Excellent, Leyshell," he said. He then smirked when she asked what was next. "Oh, next the fun really begins. The Imperius Curse can be amusing, but not for long. After all, we don't want our enemies alive and kicking forever, even if they are kicking to our command. Next is my favorite of the three... the Cruciatus Curse."He aimed at the rat, the look of the Devil himself in his eyes. "Crucio!" he said. And then he wanted in sick glee as the rat squealed in ungodly pain and torture. He actually waited a bit before he let Leyshell had her turn on hers. He enjoyed it a bit too much. Finally, he ended the curse and turned to her. " Relish this one, Leyshell. You'll find that watching the pain of those you despise is very fulfilling. You'd be surprised how quickly one who threatens you only a moment before will beg for your mercy."

Leyshell’s eyebrow shot up when Dathan had admitted that the torture curse was his favorite out of the group. Although she shouldn’t be surprised, he seemed to have the same sadistic streak that was starting to appear in her, she could respect that. She took a sip of her fire whiskey and pushed the burn to the back of her mind, while she wasn’t one fore whiskey she could admit it was better than the muggle stuff her mother kept in her private stores. Her father was a wine man at heart, she herself loved brandy, wine and f course vodka.
“I think you maybe encouraging me to be a very sadistic person…I like it” Leyshell said with a smile, she flicked her wand and ended the imperious curse on her mouse before pointing the wand against it once more, it seemed to know danger was coming and tried to scurry about. She clicked her teeth in a chiding manner before whispering “Crucio”
Leyshell was more surprised at the fact that the spell worked the first time for her more than the sounds coming from the mouse. She pushed it off as her being a Cat person as she watched the mouth squeak and flail about. Dathan was right of course, she felt a sick sense of pleasure from all of this, maybe it was the fact that she was recently turned sixteen and already using these curses. She was sure the next one would be the one she loved, torturing and controlling were oh so exciting but she wanted to watch the light leave her victims eyes.
“That was fun, I bet is better on real person, mouse squeaks are kind of annoying...I’m not a mouse person”
The manner in which she said it was akin to a child high off of sugar, except she was high on power, taking a deep breath she waited for further instructions, she didn’t want to bother Dathan or annoy him to the point where he cancelled her lessons. She was to far gone to stop know.

Dathan shook his head a bit when Leyshell said he was training her to be sadistic.
"Not at all," he said. "I'm training you to be realistic. Those at Hogwarts and at the Ministry are living in a fantasy world. Your father is an exception to that rule, but for the most part, those at your school and at the Ministry have been brainwashed far too long into believing that their laws and rules and regulations count as true justice and order." Dathan then gave her a dark and serious look. "That is all about to change, and you need to be physically and mentally prepared to live in the ruthless, sensible world that is to come." He then turned and looked at the rat. "And so we go to the final of the unforgivable curses. You see, even after the amusement of toying with your prey a while, you have to be... realistic. You can't have them still lurking about and potentially ruining your plans."
He then aimed his wand at the rat again.
"AVADA KEDAVRA!!!!!!!" he screamed madly. And with one blast, the rat was dead. Dathan then turned calmly to Leyshell and bowed his head to her, letting her know it was her turn to finish her rat off.

Leyshell nodded, he was right, she could tell that dark times were on the horizon for evil or perceived evil didn’t stay in the shadows for very long. With that being said she pushed all happy thoughts from her head as she watched Dathan kill the mouse with little Sympathy. She could imagine a person on the end of the spell and the effect where awesome than she thought. Instant death. The mouse didn’t even twitch after the spell was over, it didn’t try to run either. It just accepted it’s fate however Leyshell’s mouse wasn’t as obedient. It ran in a circle and Leyshell almost felt annoyed at it, which is was another reason all together.
Taking a deep breath she pointed her wand at the mouse and simply said ”Avada Kedavra “ the green light shot out from her wand and hit the mouse and it was dead…in an instant. Her eyes went wide and she walked over to the mouse and poked it. It didn’t move of course and Leyshell laughed joyfully “Omg I did it, and on my first try” she said with so much excitement if Finley was here it would be excited to.
“Anything else I need to learn?” she asked looking at him with something akin to awe, he was someone she had a great amount of respect for and of course she owed him a lot. He had really put himself at risk teaching her this stuff and she was beyond grateful. Some people had Quidditch players and Musicians as heroes but Leyshell’s heroes were the dark witches who brought fear to everyone who spoke their name.

Dathan stared at Leyshell cheered over her kill. He stepped over by her and sighs. "Well of course it bloody well worked," he said. "The three unforgivable curses cannot be stopped. Well... except by one... once." Dathan was stick to his stomach hearing that story about how baby Harry Potter survived Voldemort. To think of how perfect the world would be now if the little brat was killed. "Nevertheless, fine work Leyshell. Your lessons are almost complete. Though sometimes I wonder why I bother teaching you. You're still quite reluctant to accept my generous offer. I'm certain you recall what offer I am referring to. You have near unlimited potential ad a Dark Witch, Leyshell. Your services would be invaluable."
Dathan could truly not fathom why Leyshell didn't want to be in the Black Army. It was the road unlimited power, and furthermore when the army took over, those in it and they alone would rule. All others would be servants or would be dead. For all Dathan cared, Leyshell's father could be a lowly servant. But Leyshell herself- she was too talented and too powerful to be anything less than an elite force in the army. Burke would continue to try and recruit her. LEYSHELL NICOLE CONNER

Leyshell sighed also, they had been over this a million times, it wasn't that she didn't want to join up. She wanted to be on the winning side, however she didn't take to calling people Mistress and My Lady. She hated any type of authority with a burning passion.
"Dathan, i appreciate your help and the offer, however i do not bow to anyone."
She sighed and ran her hand through her hand, her hair going through a multitude of colors. Why must he tempt her with such things, she did not want to serve. She wanted power and the promises of the dark side were almost to hard to resist but she was adamant. Although if she was being honest with herself, she wanted a part in the war...a blood filled something that would show people that she wasn't some weak submissive female and well serving a "master" so to speak would ruin that.
"I have no problem with the faction you belong Dathan and of course if the Dark lady needs anything all you need to do is ask, I have just as many connections as my father if not more, not to mention i'm virtually undetected." She looked for a way to word this carefully because honestly she didn't want to offend him or his Mistress but it had to be said.
"While i support her and will do what she asks of me, It's against my nature to serve I don't bow or curtsy but id be more than happy to be an associate."

Dathan felt Leyshell had the wrong idea about the Black Army. He would hope that she would at least consider meeting the Dark Lady. "You think the Black Army is about oppression?" he asked. "About subservience? As I have told you, we detest everything the Ministry stands for, including the fact that we are forced to bow down to it or be cast into Azkaban. Being in the Black Army is not about bowing to the Dark Lady... it is about standing by her side. When the work of the Black Army is done, as a member you would not bow... you would rule. We will all rule." Dathan poured himself another drink. "Did you think I joined to do the Dark Lady's bidding by force? No. To aid her in her cause has been both my choice and my pleasure." Dathan then told her the harsh truth, but she needed to hear it. Dathan felt it was the only way to open her eyes. "Those who turn down membership in the Black Army are the ones who will come to bow," he said. "Would you want to do that then, Leyshell, hm? Or would you rather watch as others bow before you?"LEYSHELL NICOLE CONNER

Leyshell nodded to Dathan he had a point it was join or bow down like the others that opposed and she had no choice of being neutral. Of course she wouldn’t commit to anything and the thought of joining up didn’t sit right. Not because she was against it but because it had gone against everything she was taught. She was taught to support not join, support was enough.
“A very convincing offer, and I do understand what you are Dathan.”
However Leyshell knew that only one person could rule, one person would have the ultimate power and allow other people to have a small piece. Any fool could see that but Dathan had a point, he wasn’t the type to be fooled into subservience.
“I’m listening Dathan, and I do mean truly listening, however im not the type to be swayed by a couple of impressive words and offers…from a man no less.”
Hopefully he would catch her meaning, no male would persuade her to join the Black Army, to give up the way she thought…even if she had a great deal of respect for the man in question.

Dathan knew exactly what she meant. However, he had to give Leyshell the low down on what would happen if she did meet with a certain someone who was not a man. "You're right in that I am both a man and am only able to verbally persuade you to join the Black Army. I will also let you walk right out this door if you decide to turn down the offer to join in the end," he said. "However, I will tell you this now. If you are to meet the Dark Lady, there is no way back. For the Dark Lady can do far more than tell you things, she can show you such wonders, such brilliance." Burke then gave her another dark look. "But know that to see these secrets means you cannot walk away from us. I trust you well enough, but we as a whole could not take the risk of you knowing such secrets and being outside our ranks at the same time."Burke sipped his drink again and smirked. "So what is it, Leyshell?" he asked. "Walk away from under my wing forever... or walk with me into the glories of the Dark Lady? I'm not saying I couldn't still use you in the future, but that's all I would do... use you. I'd much rather fight beside you."LEYSHELL NICOLE CONNER

Leyshell smirked a Dathan as she listened to everything he said. He was very persuasive but she had every intention on join the army, she just didn’t like blackmail. He was seriously testing her, or seriously under estimating her at any rate. However at this point in time it wasn’t good for her to join the army, she had to get some things together.
“That’s a lovely tactic you have there Dathan but what makes you so sure that you are the one using or will using me?”
She tilted her head to the side and magically poured herself a drink, sitting on one of the counters in his shop Leyshell smirked right back at Dathan. Obviously Dathan has never had his mother tell him about being easy.
“Assuming that I’m silly enough to turn down an offer from the dark lady do you not think I would take precautions to insure my safety? Why waste precious time meeting one of my heroes if to turn down her offer.?”
She did not want him to think for one moment she was giving any more than he wanted to give for that was not the case here, no everything was working as planned.
“As for blackmail Dathan because I do realize that is a dark tactic, just think about this….you do not like children yet you teach me the dark ways. You risk my fathers business partnership by teaching me against his wishes and I turn down your offer. Yet you still help me, potential or not you are taking a very risky risk. It is not as if I want to walk in the light, however I am not some gullible sixteen year old heiress.”
She had laid half her hand on the table she need not mention the files she nicked from her dads office nor taking some of her fathers competitors out for a swim with the fishes. Leyshell was playing a dangerous game, a game with the big shots and she knew what she wanted. She what she had wanted since she was a little girl…power.
