(Posting Order- Teddy, April, Katrina, Relina)
Teddy had a wonderful evening with one of his two best friends, April. They had a nice dinner in the Great Hall and a great studying sessions together (hope it's okay to say all this). Sadly, according to school rules, it was time to call it a night and go back to the Hufflepuff Common Room. But at least they could hang out there some before they went to their respective dorms.
Heading toward the Common Room, Teddy turned to April.
"I have some cookies sent from home if you'd like to sit and have a few with tea before bed," said Teddy. "My mum makes really good coo..." Teddy stopped when he heard something in the dungeons. It sounded faint at first, but then got louder. He turned to April. "Wonder what that could be? Sounds a bit loud to be student." Teddy wasn't exactly open to the idea of going down and checking out the dungeons of all places, but the more he listened, the more he felt he and April wouldn't have to.
And he was starting to get a bit nervous.
"We might want to hide," he whispered to her.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - At the thought of cookies, April was immediately interested. Just when she was about to ask what kind they were, though, they heard the sound in the dungeons, and she looked down the hallway curiously. As it got louder, she too started to feel a bit nervous. "But it couldn't be anything dangerous, though, right? I mean, it's safe in here, isn't it?" Aside from Slytherins, she didn't think she had seen anything roaming around the castle that could hurt her before. But then there was a louder bang, and she let out a high-pitched squeak. "Maybe hiding is the best idea," she agreed.

Clad in her black pajamas and her hair looking like she had indeed been already been sleeping on it (because she had been sleeping for a good two hours), Katrina slowly made her way to the Slytherin Common Room from her dorm. She yawned and scratched her stomach before going for one of the cups available to students. Her sleep had been interrupted by a heavy thirst, which probably had something to do with the amount of salty snacks she had before bed.
"Aqua... Aquamenti..." she said, her eyes half open. The spell worked though and the cup filled with water. She took a drink, and then looked out as she could hear the odd noises from the dungeons. She blinked a moment and listened as the noise got louder.
"The hell is that?" she grumbled. She then decided to step out and make her way over toward the dungeons because the sound was now bugging her and she knew she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. She saw nothing coming from the dungeon, but she did see the two Hufflepuffs hiding. She sipped her water again and approached them. Unlike some Slytherins, she had no ill will against any other House. She was a tad anti-social at times, but no ill will.
"....... Hi," she said to the two. "What are we doing?"

Relina was exhausted and looking forward to bed. She had been up all night so far studying for her finals, a task she both loathed and adored. Her next exam was in a few days, and it was Potions, a subject she loved, so she felt it worth her while to do as well as she possibly could at it. Still, the long hours of study were taking their toll. She brushed off the noises ahead of her, her brain too numb to pick up on the distinctly animalistic tone to them. So was quite surprised when she rounded the corner and saw a huge, slightly confused troll standing not twenty feet away. Actually, siurprised would be an understatement; by the smell alone, she should've realised something was amiss from at least fifty feet away.
Her brief foray into magical creature lore came rushing back. The only thing worse than a confused troll was an angry one, and, as she recalled, it was only a short leap from confused to angry for them. She froze. Her Common Room was beyond it, and there was no way she could sneak past. It took up almost all of the hallway. As the gravity of her predicament dawned on her, her throat seized up a little and emitted a short squeak. Two seconds later, she was crouched back around the corner, frantically looking for her wand.

To April:
Teddy sighed when April said it couldn't possibly be anything dangerous. He wanted say it wasn't, but this was Hogwarts after all and it had some interesting happenings in its history, especially with magical creatures.
"I don't know," he said. "I mean, how often to any of us walk about the dungeons? We really don't know what's down there." As they hid, Teddy peeked out. Nothing so far, but he started to notice the smell as Relina did.
To Katrina:
Teddy was startled when he heard Katrina's voice. He then turned to see that she was a Slytherin and that made him even more nervous. Slytherins tended to do that to him. However, he got a decent vibe of the girl. She did look grumpy though as it seemed the situation had woke her up.
"We think there's something in the dungeon," he whispered.
To Relina:
Now Teddy was even more worried when he spotted the other Slytherin. She seemed trapped, given there was something in the dungeons and heading this way. Teddy knew if something happened, he would need to be brave and help her. He was never live down if he did nothing and someone else got hurt.
And no sooner had he drawn his wand when the troll showed up! Ugly, smelly, and mean, it looked and sniffed about for prey. And a horrible thought came to Teddy...
It was up to those students present to stop it before it had the entire school in a panic.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - April nearly screamed when she noticed the troll. She had never seen one before, only occasionally read about them when she had been forced to do so in class. As much as she had a particular affinity for animals, she didn't think a troll counted as an animal, and even if it did, she was too terrified to be able to do anything useful about that. "What do we do?" she asked Katrina as she arrived. She was the older student and maybe she would have an idea. This was all way too scary.

To Teddy:
Katrina sniffed the air and heard the noises growing louder.
"Good guess there, kiddo," she said with good-natured sarcasm in response to Teddy saying he thought there was something in the dungeon. Katrina seemed relatively cool about the situation so far, but then again she never really showed outward fear or panic or a lot of other emotions.
To April:
When the troll showed up and April asked what to do, Katrina found herself not thinking very clearly. She also found herself wandless, which was not good either. If she was to be of any help, she would have to go and get it.
"Um... yeah... what to do?" she said. "Hold on... be right back..."
Katrina picked up her speed and made her way back to her bed to grab her wand from the cabinet beside it. Quietly but quickly, she made it back. Like Teddy, she didn't want others knowing about this until they had taken care of the problem. Kat was no hero by any means, but she wasn't going to have people killed because the entire school broke into some crazed freak out.
To Relina:
Heading back, she saw Relina trapped on the other side. Kat didn't talk to Relina much, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to stand back watch someone from her House get killed. For now, she would have to give Relina an opened to make her way over to them. She sighed and then jumped out, aiming at the troll.
"Stupefy," she said, somewhat loud. The spell knocked the troll for a loop and Kat looked at Relina as if to tell her "you might want to hurry over here."

Relina watched as Katrina shot her spell at the troll. She abandoned her bag of books and scurried along the corridor, keeping low, calculating... Katrina was a talented witch with six years on training under her belt. That meant the spell should hold for a little while. But, on the other hand, trolls had thick skin and even thicker bones, which meant spells that would often knock an opponent out for days often reacted strangely with trolls. She scurried quicker, the trolls mangy foot just missing her head as it spun.
She almost made it to the others, then lost her nerve and squished herself up against the wall, not even daring to peek out and see if it was recovering. She could hear it making sounds, more softly now, as if it was drunk, then it gave a louder snort. She was about ten feet from them, and her legs were shaking so hard it felt like they might fall off. She gripped her wand in one sweaty hand, her eyes wide as she looked to the other three.
"Distrago," she whispered, pointing her wand past the troll, away from the others and herself. Sounds like running feet echoed briefly, and the troll squinted towards the sounds.

To April:
Teddy was with April. He had no idea what to do. He was still getting the hang of a lot of spells. April was right in asking the Sixth Year girl for help. And if this Slytherin was mean, she certainly wasn't showing it right now. She sounded a bit sarcastic, but there was no coldness behind it. Teddy knew a few folks who used good-natured sarcasm and he liked being around them. They made him laugh.
To Katrina:
"Thanks," he said with a slight chuckled when Kat told him his guest was a good one. He then hoped she did plan to come back when she ran off. He blew a sigh of relief when she did, and watched as she helped the other Slytherin with the stupefying spell. Why didn't he think of that? He knew that spell!
To Relina:
When Relina made her way over, Teddy couldn't help but be friendly, even in the face of danger. It was just in his nature.
"Hello," he said. "I'm Teddy and this is April. You probably know... well the one who just helped you." Teddy didn't catch her name.
The distraction spell would hopefully give them time to think of how to get rid of it. Sadly, Teddy had nothing.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - April was far too tense to be chuckling and greeting people like Teddy was. She could hardly believe that he seemed relaxed enough to do this when there was a troll not far from them down the corridor. The troll by now had found a suit of armour and was attacking it with its club, clearly having thought that the footsteps from the new girl's spell had come from the suit of armour. Trolls weren't known for their intelligence, after all. April peered around the corner to see just how far away the troll was from them. She pointed her wand around the corner at the troll, remembering a spell that could be useful to stop it being able to move. "Locomotor wibbly!" It hit the troll, causing it to look quite wobbly on it's legs, its confused expression becoming even more evident.

To Teddy:
Katrina blinked once at recalling that she hadn't introduced herself. Probably because she had her mind on something else. Go figure.
"Katrina... my bad," she said. "I would say it's a pleasure meeting you both, but I think we can all agree the current circumstances suck."
To April:
When April caused the spell, Kt gave her a small smile. It was a well thought out spell. The girl no doubt paid attention in Defense Against The Dark Art class.
"Nice one," she said. She hoped the boy had some in mind too. It would probably take a combined effort of the four to stop this creature. What Kat would give to have Hagrid around... or any of the other staff for that matter. After all, for all she knew this was one of Hagrid's old friends or something.
To Relina:
When Relina dashed over, Katrina nodded to her.
"Hi there," she said after Teddy gave his own hello and introductions. "Okay, now everyone knows each other. I'm sure that information will come in handy when we all sit down and have tea and plum cake together later. But right now, let's deal with the big slobbering issue moving toward us."
Kat had to think of something else, something a bit more useful than all the spells they had tried to so far. Shen then had an idea connected to what she was thinking about earlier. She had to slow the troll down before she could discuss it though.
"Impedimenti!" she chanted, causing the spell that kept an enemy from making it to their target, or in this case targets. The spell was temporary, so as the troll fell and froze up in confusion, Katrina got right to the plan.
"Okay, I have an idea, but you three need to think of a spell that can get him out of the castle and keep him out," she said. "I'll lead him to the nearest entrance and then you all do your stuff when I give the cue."
Kat then closed her eyes and put her ability as a Metamorphagus to work. It had been a very long time since she had used the in-born ability, but it was still easy enough. Her form changed to that of Hagrid. She then turned to them again.
"Ready?" she asked, still in Katrina's voice.

Relina nodded tersely to Teddy, April and Katrina. "Relina," she replied, her tired eyes scanning the hallway as the troll wobbled unsteadily. She pinched the bridge of her nose, trying to summon up the energy to think, act, and, above all, not die. "Katrina's right. We need a plan, and right now she's the best one to figure it out. I'm wrecked, and you guys are... well... she knows what she's doing."
She watched Katrina transform, and decided to chalk any and all confusing experiences up to exhaustion. Her tired brain raced uncomfortably as she went through a list of spells that might help.
"OK..." she said eventually. "I really hate doing this to you both, but we might have to split up and push it out from all sides. We can rely on Katrina for her stuff, but she'll need back-up. Can you guys do that?"

To April:
Teddy almost wanted to laugh at how the troll reacted to April's spell. But then he saw how angry the troll looked, and the creature probably wouldn't do any favors for those who he saw mocking his anguish. So the look on Teddy's face grew serious again and he watched as Katrina made the next move.
To Katrina:
Katrina seemed to know what she was doing. She also seemed to act a lot more confident than she probably was, though he didn't blame her if she wasn't. They were dealing with a troll after all. After the spell, Teddy watched in amazement as Katrina turned into Hagrid. He had never seen a Metamorphagus change before. She did laugh a little when she still sounded like herself though.
To Relina:
It was quickly time to be serious again as the plan was in affect. Teddy agreed with Relina's idea. Perhaps he and the two girls could stand in three different places behind the troll. It could work, as long as the troll paid attention to the fake Hagrid. Also, Teddy tried to think up a good spell he had learned for when the time came to send the troll back outside the castle. It seemed to him that after four years of learning spells, he could come up with something.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Katrina looked like she had a plan set in place. She was going to lead the troll out, and the other three were just there in case that didn't work. So, the other three of them would wait in hiding until the troll passed them, and then be behind the troll in case it didn't get fully out of the castle, in which case they would be there ready to fire off some spells to either knock it out or force it out of the castle. For now, though, April just waited for the troll to pass them so they could take up their position.

Katrina sighed before stepping out to meet the troll. And she was very happy the pajamas stretch when she changed or that would have looked really awkward. They would go back to normal size when she changed back too. Ha-za for magical PJs!!!
The troll eyed Hagrid and smiled a bit. Hagrid and most magical creatures had a level of respect, and she was glad the big goof thought she was him. Now she had to sound like Hagrid. That was the tough part.
"Um... come on you big... silly... troll," she said, trying to sound as much like Hagrid as possible. "Let's... go... back to the Forbidden Forest now." The troll seemed to listen and followed the fake Hagrid toward the exit. Katrina looked over to make sure the other three were in position. If something went wrong, they would have to find a way to knock the troll out.
So far, all seemed well and they were near one of the entrances to the castle. No one else seemed about, which was also a good thing. However, since Katrina was walking backwards, she didn't see a sharp stone that on the floor near the door and bumped the back of her foot on it.
"Ouch... son of a dark witch!" she shouted in her own voice. She then heard the troll growl in anger at being deceived. The troll charged her. She quickly opened the door and ran out, morphing back to herself as the troll chased her towards the grounds. She really hoped the others would follow behind and help her at some point.
