Relina took her spot with the other two. She crept quietly and watched Hagrid-Katrina lure the troll with her heart in her throat. It all seemed to be going well, until the rock tripped Hagrid-Katrina up. She winced as the girl's voice switched back to her own, anticipating the troll's reaction. Of course, it was enraged. She almost gasped, then set her jaw and gripped her wand tighter.
"Quick," she whispered to the two younger students. Under calmer circumstances, she probably would still have wanted them to come, despite the overwhelming irresponsibility it displayed. Ah well, she wasn't a selfish Slytherin for nothing. She chased the now-normal Katrina and the troll, formulating her next spell in her mind. The troll barged through the door as if it was a gauzy curtain, and Relina was ashamed to notice that she could in fact run faster, but only after the troll was outside.
She stumbled over the door frame in time to see the troll, to angry, for now, to even roar, chasing Katrina in vaguely the right direction. In other circumstances, she might have laughed, but even she wasn't that selfish. She hurried after them, barely glancing behind to check if the other two were close or far behind her.

Teddy seemed relieved that the plan was working until Katrina belted out something in her own voice. Things went chaotic form there. Teddy sighed and closed his eyes. Hufflepuffs were not quite as brave as Gryffindors, but he wasn't a coward either. He quickly ran out and conjured up a spell himself to keep the troll from catching up to Katrina. When the troll raised his club to strike her, he remembered a spell he learned very early on at Hogwarts. He just hoped it would work on clubs as well as wands.
"Expelliarmus!" she shouted. He smiled a bit when the club flew out of the troll's hands. The troll turned and sneered at the boy though, which caused Teddy to gulp. Even without the big weapon, the troll was a threat with its super strength. Teddy really didn't want to be torn apart that evening. He tried to think of another spell, but he was petrified with fear. He froze, and in the back of his mind where he could still think clearly, he hoped that one of the girls had something else in mind by now. Otherwise, hew as going to be Teddy Soup... or however trolls prepared their dinner.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - April had also run with Relina and Teddy to the entrance of the castle once the troll was outside. She was glad to see that the troll's club was now on the ground, but when April saw the troll turning and moving towards Teddy, she acted on instinct. There was no way that she was going to let one of her best friends be hurt. "Impedimenta! Protego!" she called out, firing off two spells in a row. One to slow the troll down, and one in front of Teddy to protect him if it did get within swinging range of him.

Katrina watched as the three came to her aid. The next time anyone said anything about Hufflepuffs around her, Katrina was definitely going to bring up April and Teddy. She owed them a lot for continuing to risk their lives for her instead of slamming the castle door and running back to their Common Room. The same went for Relina. Kat knew Relina had her shortcomings, but the girl wasn't all bad.
When April saved Teddy for the moment, Kat ran back over to them. They had relied on her to think of something to get them out of all this, and she wasn't going to let them down. First thing was first, and it was going to be risky.
"We have to lead him to the Forbidden Forest," she said. "I know that could get us into trouble, but if we go back to the castle now, he's going to try to get back in.... and if does the noise is going to wake up a lot more people." She then looked toward the Forbidden Forest. "Since... April, right? Since April has him halted, we should use the Banishing Charm until we send him completely back into the forest. Maybe he'll stay there."
She then turned and aimed her wand at the troll.
"Depulso!" she chanted with a blast sending the troll back.

Relina thought hard, then it came to her. That it was cruel and slightly inhumane didn't really bother her too much. Needs must.
"I know this sounds a bit extreme but, well, nothing likes fire..." She flicked her wand as the troll turned to regain the ground he'd lost being banished.
"Incendio," she said. A line of fire cut the troll off, and he skidded to a halt before snorting and starting to go around it. The fire hadn't touched him, but it left a charred slash on the lawn as it disappeared. "It seems to be working..." She repeated her spell, preventing the troll from getting too much closer. "Do you all know that spell? Remember, don't touch it with the fire, just herd it towards the Forest."

(Adding Hagrid since I play him, ) To April: Teddy hugged April in gratitude for saving him. She was such a wonderful friend. "Thank you," he said quickly. To Katrina: Teddy listened to the plan and hoped it would work. He then had a suggestion of his own. "Perhaps if we can get him near Hagrid's house, Hagrid can come out and help us," he said. He knew the real Hagrid would be able to talk down the troll. But for now, he began to chant "Depulso" as well to knock the troll back. To Relina: When he saw what Relina was doing, he switched back and forth between Depulso and Incendio. Soon the troll was moved back toward the Forest, as well as Hagrid's home. Teddy considered shouting out to Hagrid, but found he didn't need to as Hagrid heard the noise just fine. The half-giant stepped out and looked over the troll and crossed his arms. "Chuckles!" he said to the troll, calling him by name. "Don't tell me you were tryin' to hunt for rats in the dungeon again. Told ya a dozen times you done scared'em all out of there. Now go on back to your home. You've probably got these youngins in a mess of trouble." The troll looked down and groaned before turning and walking away. Hagrid then turned to the students. "Was a brave thing you lot did," he said. "But next time you need to come directly to me of another member of the staff. Now then, let's you back to the castle." @april @relina

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - April followed in what Relina was doing - using the Incendio spell to direct the troll away from the castle. It was working well, too. Teddy had the good idea of going to ask Hagrid for help, which worked well seeing as they were going nearby his hut. Thankfully Hagrid seemingly knew the troll, so was able to convince it to leave.
"Thankyou, Hagrid," she said appreciatively. Going back to the castle sounded like a fantastic idea. And sleep. That would be good too.

(Guessing we're all wrapping this up here.)
Katrina was a bit worried about getting into trouble, but before she could say anything, Hagrid promised he would explain the situation to the Headmistress should the students get into trouble. He agreed it was a bit foolish of the students to do what they did, but at the same time, he felt it was quite brave of them to do what they could to preserve the safety of the rest of the school. If the school had broke out into a panic, then not only would the students been in danger of the troll, but they would have been climbing all over each other and some could have gotten seriously hurt that way.
"Thanks, Hagrid," said Kat. "Next time we see a troll, we'll definitely find a teacher... because I am not doing what I just did again... ever." She then looked at April, Relina, and Teddy. "You all did a good job. Anyone who says Hufflepuffs aren't brave... well should probably shut up after this. And Relina, I figured there was more to you than you let on."
And so the infamous incident had come to an end thanks to a half-giant and an unlikely alliance of students.
