"Having someone to love is family. Having somewhere to go is home. Having both is a blessing." -- Unknown
You were born into a very good and loving family located in Denmark. You were the youngest of two siblings, your brother Jens being the oldest. Your parents, Martin and Maja Helstrom were the type of parents everyone would be envious of, as they loved you and your brother unconditionally and without faltering. You were closest to your mother, loving to help her in the kitchen as a little girl as well as cleaning. You didn't know why, you were just a very productive little girl who liked to help out with anything you could. However, your father had great effect on you as well. Martin Helstrom was the captain and keeper of the Nordic National Quidditch team, leading you and your brother to fall in love with the sport. You always loved flying around on a broom with your brother and pretending you were famous like your father. The Quidditch games you attended were a favorite pastime of yours and you would never forget the thrill of seeing your father play professionally.
Your brother received his Hogwarts letter three years before yourself, and when he left for the first time, you cried. You were very close to your brother and you didn't want him to go. You knew that he would write and that you would see him on holidays, but you were sad that you'd only see him that much after being used to seeing him all the time. The first few months were difficult for you, but then you slowly started to move on from the fact that your brother was away. He was at a very good place after all, and it wasn't like you wouldn't see him again. During the three years that he attended Hogwarts, but you didn't, you found your passion for art.
"In art, the hand can never execute anything higher than the heart can imagine." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Art became an outlet for you as well as something you really enjoyed to do. While you still loved quidditch, you realized it wasn't something you wanted to actually partake in when you went to Hogwarts yourself. You went to every game, but you never played. Art, specifically drawing and painting, was what you had a true passion for and you did it whenever you could. The world around you was so beautiful and spectacular you couldn't help but keep your hand from doodling or painting a scene. You were good with portraits as well, but your passion was capturing the landscapes of the surrounding world.
"There is nothing I wouldn't do for those who are really my friends. I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature." -- Jane Austin, Northanger Abbey
When it was your turn to attend Hogwarts, you were excited, but nervous. You couldn't wait to join your brother and make new friends, but it was a new situation for you; it was a huge change in your life. Upon arrival to Hogwarts you were sorted into Hufflepuff, house of the badger; house of the loyal. It was no mistake as you were probably one of the most loyal people anyone could come in contact with. You would do anything for those that you truly became friends with. You were kind to everyone that deserved your kindness and polite to those who weren't. However, if it was severe enough, you had a cold nature toward the people. One step further and you wouldn't hold back. You didn't take kindly to those who hurt others in any way, shape, or form.
You fitted in well at Hogwarts though. You were outgoing and got along with a lot of people, along with making a lot of friends. It didn't just stop at your house either. You made friends of all houses and all ages. It helped that your brother was in a different house. You were able to meet a couple of his friends and in turn became friends with them. It would be a lie to say it was hard for you.
"There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living." -- Nelson Mandela
As you continued your magical education throughout your years at Hogwarts, you learned more and more about your potential and what you truly wanted to do after you graduated. Your art was very dear to you and close to your heart, but so was the well being of the people around you. You might not have ever thought of it if it wasn't for Professor McGonagall complimenting your talents, but once she did, you knew what you had to do. You were a very bright child and had very high marks in all your classes. You were to become an auror once you left Hogwarts. That was what you soon learned would be your destiny; your passion to come before art.
You graduated only this year, as you are now eighteen years old. You have kept up with your love for art by becoming a painter, but first and foremost, you have become an auror-in-training. You are ready for whatever comes your way, even if it might be a dangerous road.
